I'm shocked that this is the first time I've ever been here. The Brussels were pretty good. I wound have liked them to be more sautéed but that's a personal preference. The flavor was very good. The seasonal salad was a house salad with strawberries, cucumbers, greens, red onions, some sort of a sweet oat cluster, and a kiwi salad dressing. Very good salad and I'm a little sad to k ow this isn't a regular salad they always carry. The old fashion drink was very good not the best I've ever had but very good. We had a lady server with reddish color hair that was absolutely amazing and so friendly. The ambience was very welcoming and comfortable. read more

Cute farmhouse vibe and good music. Staff is attentive but not overbearing. I got the salmon dinner. I almost always avoid any sort of glaze or sauce on salmon but took a chance. Just the right amount of seasoning on the fish, veggies, and grain medley! read more

Slow service and bad food. It seriously took 2 hours to get appetizers. I ordered multiple drinks and received one. Server Lyn K was terrible! Definitely do not recommend this place. read more

Found this place online while visiting. 10/10 dining experience and customer service! Very aware and understanding of food allergies. The wings were a bit over salted so I couldn't finish them but not a deterrent for me. I'm sure if I would have mentioned it they would have done something about it but it wasn't a huge deal to me. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing. When bringing out the steak I guess they dropped a few fries so they brought out an entire fresh new bowl of them. I left here stuffed to the gills! If/when I'm in the area again I will be sure to eat here. read more

Started out a bit concerned as the start of our meal was not great. The draft system was broken and the apps we ordered we sub par. My wife hated the Brussel sprouts and the spinach artichoke dip was very thin. The pita chips that came with the dip could break a tooth they were so hard. The entrees were a different story though. Absolutely delicious. The decor needs updating as its very dark inside. Not sure why there were curtains on the windows. We would come back here but we will skip the apps next time. read more

Last 4 times I have been here (2 times in the fall, one in March and today April 26th) the patio has "not open of outdoor seating". It looks as if they are set up for it and have a really nice outdoor area. I love the food here (especially the sweet potato tots). But if I can't sit outside when it is 70° and sunny with my Dog, we will go elsewhere. read more

This could've easily been a five-star experience, but unfortunately, our server seemed a bit out of his depth. That said, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The interior is largely unchanged from when this place was Fox Run, but it's been given a thorough refresh--clean, organized, and well-kept. In all honesty, though, none of that really mattered to my party of three. We've been raving about the food ever since our visit, and even three days later, we're still talking about it. Without a doubt, we'll be back--and not just once. There are at least five other dishes on the menu that I'm dying to try! read more

I ordered via DoorDash. I called the restaurant and they assured me that this would be safe for someone with celiac disease. Not only was my food breaded, it was not the food that I ordered. For claiming to be the most allergy friendly restaurant in Illinois, this was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, the restaurant was no longer open today so I will have to be give them a call tomorrow to see what the explanation for this mistake is read more

Stopped off here because they boasted of a craft cocktail program. This restaurant is in a shopping center, away from Main Street, which is kind of a bummer, but that being said, it's also right by the interstate, so easy to get back on the road. Wide and spacious, a little dark because of the curtains, though they do have a patio. Clean and well kept. This is mostly bar or tavern food. I had the sautéed Brussels sprouts with Thai chili sauce. It was a little too sweet for me, but still a good starter. Maybe I should have gone with the artichoke dip. They also have a Buffalo chicken dip, chicken wings, and a few other apps. They have lots of handhelds: various burgers, fish sandwiches and wraps, and a spicy goat burger I was eyeing, but didn't get (goat cheese, jalapeno bacon, hot honey). My server recommended the salmon, but I didn't go for that because it was also Thai chili glazed, and that wasn't what I was looking for. I ended up getting the pepper crusted NY strip. It was fine. I ordered a side of fries. Basic shoestring fries, but they were hot and crispy. Other entrees include fried grouper, spicy grouper, southwest grouper (grouper, grouper, grouper), and a couple renditions of chicken. I had some of their cocktails, all were pretty refreshing. I enjoyed the paloma most. Good portions, decent taste. My server was great. And not only was she great, another server who seated me kept checking on me as well, making sure I had plenty of water and that I liked my meal. He was definitely a people person. The food is okay. And I found a hair in my food. But things happen, so I'm not knocking off a star. What shines here is the service. Would try again. read more

This place was worth the hype! I love the healthy options. It's also a gluten free paradise! There were lots of gluten free options; the flatbreads all come GF, but the buns and pastas come GF for an extra cost. The flatbread was crispy and flavorful. The chicken wings were huge and perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of salads, I think the beet salad is the best. They had a huge drink selection! A decent selection of beers on tap, but tons more in cans and bottles. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was quick. I liked the set up of the inside, they had some TVs to watch games as well. read more

The drink menu looks so tasty! Since we were visiting from out of town, we had to try a horseshoe. It was interesting... but neither of us were fond of the cheese sauce. But the fried chicken sandwich was almost life changing! Wow, it was SO GOOD! And the chips were delicious. Just fyi if you ask for a side of sauce (like for the fries), there's a charge. Overall we had a good lunch and we'd get the chicken sandwich again. read more

This place is AMAZING! I wasn't able to take a photo of my food and drinks because they were devoured within the first ten minutes! I've never found a restaurant around Springfield that has a fine dining palate at a reasonable price and this is the GEM! I had the spicy goat cheese burger and sweet potato tots, and my fiancée had the salmon flatbread and we shared a few old fashioned cocktails and we were so impressed at the fresh ingredients balanced together with each meal and the quality of everything. The old fashioned drinks were made with such high quality at a great price that this place puts Curate (another local Springfield fine dining restaurant) in competition. Keep up the great work and I'm so happy to become a regular here! (Huge shoutout to our waitress for the vibes she created for such a chill and wonderful experience) read more

Service was great. Very friendly waitress. Kept drinks refilled. Gave us time to browse the menu. I ordered the legacy chicken and fries. It comes fried, I think it would have been better grilled but that wasn't an option that I was told. The fries were hard and just ok. My husband had the grouper sandwich and he said it was fine but he'd had better in Florida and he was just ok with the fries as well. Perhaps their chips are better? Dining room wasn't loud and the music wasn't overpowering. I may return just order something else. read more

On 10/10/25 three of us ate lunch there. We ordered 3 burgers and when they came there was a miniature beef patty that looked like it was from a freezer pack. Cheese was an additional $2.99. additionally, we ordered sweet potato tots and they came out as a half portion. Burgers only come with a small portion of chips and no fries. All of us just had waters. Bill came to $68 with tip. Massively overpriced and portions have shrunk. I will never eat there again. Got sat down, waited a while to even order drinks. The drinks took so long to come we were already contemplating leaving. Then saw the bartender taking shots behind the bar instead of making our drinks. Drinks Finally came, and then we ordered an appetizer. Appetizer also took a long time to come. MIND you, it was NOT PACKED, it was slow. Get the appetizer and it was COLD... like it warmed up for 2 min. Disgusting. Waitress took it and then we ordered our food. ONE HOUR later food finally came.. at this point there's maybe a few tables in the whole restaurant, no reason for it to take that long. Food finally comes and it was not good at all, fries were rock hard like almost cracking a tooth hard. Food was dry and not good. I was recommended this place by a friend and it was not good at all, service was shitty, waitress had a bad attitude. When we left, the cooks and waitresses were outside smoking, probably the reason it took so long to get our food. I don't recommend this place, will never come back. read more

I had the Thai Salmon dinner and while it was delicious, the salmon was half the size what is served at other restaurants about 4oz. It was served with quinoa and a few slices of peppers and onions. I would think a salad or a roll would constitute a complete dinner of $26.99! I usually dont finish but I left needing more food. Service was great though. read more

We stopped here after a visit to the botanical gardens close by, our Springfield target, mainly because it offered vegan dishes. Mid-afternoon, few customers, the place was fairly dark and we initially thought closed. However, discovered it was open and Kallie answered knowledgably all our daughter's questions regarding the vegan offerings and steered her where she appeared comfortable in ordering. Hubby and son ordered Yuengling Flight drinks. I ordered the beet salad and added shrimp, our daughter the vegan sausage mushroom flatbread and vegan beet salad (sub vegan cheese). Hubby and son also ordered the Classic Steakburger and our son ordered a side of veggie skewers. Unfortunately, that meant he didn't get the fries that came with hubby's burger and they shared. It also meant our son left still hungry. I'm super angry with myself for not getting a pic of that magnificent beet salad. Beautiful and SOOO good! I'd recommend that first to anyone and with the shrimp? Perfect tho the shrimp made it a bit pricey where most menu items were moderately priced. Still, those shrimp were not small. The service was good, the food delicious, and the place was filling up as we were leaving. I'd be back just for the beet salad if we weren't a day away and son's burger came with his fries AND side dish. 4.5 stars read more

My wife and I came for dinner yesterday for an early dinner about 3:30, should have gotten the message right away. No one was at the desk to seat us so I walked in further and got the attention of a man rolling silverware who then seated us in an empty section. It appeared that only 4 other tables were occupied in the entire restaurant. Two other tables got seated shortly after us and a waitress brought them water. When she returned to take their drink order I asked her who would be waiting on us? She replied that she would but the other tables were there first. I explained that we had been seated first and her response was OH. She then took our drink order and left. After quite some time the man who had seated us brought my beer but nothing for my wife. More time goes by and the waitress comes to take our food order and we explain that she was still waiting on her drink. With annoyed look she states she put the order in. A third waiter comes by and she asked him about the drink and he stated there was only a beer order. 20 minutes has gone by since we arrived so we said just cancel it we are leaving the waitress turned and walked off . I asked the other waiter how much for the beer I had not drank he said $6 dollars and also walked away. I left the money on the table. No one cared or apologized one bit. As we got close to the door the waitress said she put the order in , look here at my pad! No remorse no accountability! Definitely no service! read more
