    Salmon dinner

Cute farmhouse vibe and good music. Staff is attentive but not overbearing. I got the salmon dinner. I almost always avoid any sort of glaze or sauce on salmon but took a chance. Just the right amount of seasoning on the fish, veggies, and grain medley!

My girlfriend and I come here most Sundays. Our experiences are always fantastic. The food is delicious and they easily accommodate for a variety of allergies. The charismatic bartender, Sax, is a big reason we choose to go here on Sundays. He is always a generous host and always keeps us entertained. Bonus, his Old Fashioned is superb.

Last 4 times I have been here (2 times in the fall, one in March and today April 26th) the patio has "not open of outdoor seating". It looks as if they are set up for it and have a really nice outdoor area. I love the food here (especially the sweet potato tots). But if I can't sit outside when it is 70° and sunny with my Dog, we will go elsewhere.

This place has great food and a wide range of dishes. We visited while staying with family in Springfield and the locals rave about this place. We enjoyed a variety of items ordered for the table to share and loved everything. Good service and reasonable price too!

This could've easily been a five-star experience, but unfortunately, our server seemed a bit out of his depth. That said, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The interior is largely unchanged from when this place was Fox Run, but it's been given a thorough refresh--clean, organized, and well-kept. In all honesty, though, none of that really mattered to my party of three. We've been raving about the food ever since our visit, and even three days later, we're still talking about it. Without a doubt, we'll be back--and not just once. There are at least five other dishes on the menu that I'm dying to try!

My family and I tried their Sunday brunch menu and they were able to accommodate our party of 6 without a reservation which was awesome! The southwest salad was light and delicious and I really enjoyed the dressing. Everyone enjoyed their meals whether it was breakfast or lunch- my husband recommends the breakfast horseshoe. Parking was easy which is always a plus

Stopped off here because they boasted of a craft cocktail program. This restaurant is in a shopping center, away from Main Street, which is kind of a bummer, but that being said, it's also right by the interstate, so easy to get back on the road. Wide and spacious, a little dark because of the curtains, though they do have a patio. Clean and well kept. This is mostly bar or tavern food. I had the sautéed Brussels sprouts with Thai chili sauce. It was a little too sweet for me, but still a good starter. Maybe I should have gone with the artichoke dip. They also have a Buffalo chicken dip, chicken wings, and a few other apps. They have lots of handhelds: various burgers, fish sandwiches and wraps, and a spicy goat burger I was eyeing, but didn't get (goat cheese, jalapeno bacon, hot honey). My server recommended the salmon, but I didn't go for that because it was also Thai chili glazed, and that wasn't what I was looking for. I ended up getting the pepper crusted NY strip. It was fine. I ordered a side of fries. Basic shoestring fries, but they were hot and crispy. Other entrees include fried grouper, spicy grouper, southwest grouper (grouper, grouper, grouper), and a couple renditions of chicken. I had some of their cocktails, all were pretty refreshing. I enjoyed the paloma most. Good portions, decent taste. My server was great. And not only was she great, another server who seated me kept checking on me as well, making sure I had plenty of water and that I liked my meal. He was definitely a people person. The food is okay. And I found a hair in my food. But things happen, so I'm not knocking off a star. What shines here is the service. Would try again.

This place was worth the hype! I love the healthy options. It's also a gluten free paradise! There were lots of gluten free options; the flatbreads all come GF, but the buns and pastas come GF for an extra cost. The flatbread was crispy and flavorful. The chicken wings were huge and perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of salads, I think the beet salad is the best. They had a huge drink selection! A decent selection of beers on tap, but tons more in cans and bottles. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was quick. I liked the set up of the inside, they had some TVs to watch games as well.

The drink menu looks so tasty! Since we were visiting from out of town, we had to try a horseshoe. It was interesting... but neither of us were fond of the cheese sauce. But the fried chicken sandwich was almost life changing! Wow, it was SO GOOD! And the chips were delicious. Just fyi if you ask for a side of sauce (like for the fries), there's a charge. Overall we had a good lunch and we'd get the chicken sandwich again.

Thankfully we still were able to get one cider, and they had a selection of other beers. The cider was tart and refreshing, and I really like the berry mocktail, which had ginger beer, and a mix of berries in it. As for food, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich came with a lot of heat which was great. I got the dry rub version, which is spicer than the saucy version. The horseshoe sandwich is a local favorite, which is an open faced sandwich with sliced bread topped with meat (we got the angus beef), fries, and cheese sauce. It was quite heavy and creamy because of all the sauce. Overall we enjoyed our meal and our server was very friendly, although service was on the slower side.

There's several outdoor games, jumbo Connect Four, beanbags, etc. to keep patrons amused and occupied. My chicken Caesar wrap was fresh and tasty, quesadillas reported as good. Not a bad way to spend a warm evening. I'd like to see an alternative floor outside, mini gravel not comfy when it gets into your sandals!

Tanja brought us some pita bread and carrot salad to start. That was complementary. We had a couple of cocktails from the bar, which were very good. We next had the Cigar Borek, which were little cheese rolls with a spicy tomato dip that was outstanding! We then ordered the beef doner wrap, which was just delicious! The beef they use for this is really tender and delicious. We cannot wait to return to this lovely Ugly Restaurant. :)

One of the reasons I love Mediterranean food is its use of spices and infused flavors. A complimentary carrot salad mixed with yogurt was served with warm pita bread. This was not good, frankly, and was the start of what would end up being an underwhelming experience. I ordered the mixed sampler platter for an appetizer. The only thing worth eating was the falafel and the cigar borek (fried breaded cheese). My entrée was the chicken shish kabobs that were accompanied by rice, a small chargrilled tomato, a chargrilled pepper and an onion salad. The chicken lack any kind of seasoning. Even salt would've help. This was probably the most bland Mediterranean food I've ever experienced. The presentation was grade A but the lack of flavor resulted in a Grade C. Even the baklava was bland. For $60 (including tip) I could've had a much more fulfilling meal.
