Fried chicken and rib tips were DELISHUSH! Pecan pie. Tea. Now if I was just hungry enough to order some catfish and walleye! Can't wait to come back to try that. So many palaces taking short cuts. Not here. Am THRILLED to finally find this small family owned place that will likely send you off with a smile every time. Portions were perfect. I absolutely loved the owner as well as all the staff. Chicken was wonderful, crisp thin breading, yams for me, were too sweet...and had maybe too much flour or something, had after taste. Green beans were good, recommend some brown sugar and bacon. My husbands beef ends were the bomb...delicious! Collards were great. I don't like Pac-Man pie....I DID like MJ homemade pecan pie. Lovely space by Enos park. But will be moving to S Grand just off of Dirksen taking the old Burger King bldg. Please patronize them....it's great. We can not wait to go in for fried fish. read more

i went yesterday we ordered to go we got the Catfish and party wings and macaroi and cheese and yams and potato salad we live about 15 mins away got home and the food was still steaming hot those yams where perfect the tarter sauce and fish were amazing and lets not get on the sweet potato pie !!!!!! 10/10 I can't wait to go back next week also the owner and the lady at the register are so sweet . read more

This place was recommended by a clerk at another business where we were shopping. We were impressed very much. The food was very good, service was quick. I had walleye and wings. I've never seen wings that big !!! They definitely were Jumbo ! My wife had catfish strips and said hers were excellent too. We'll definitely go back because I want to try the shrimp. read more
