It's the best sub I've had in a long time! I wish they were closer. Being a chain it was fabulous.

Everything! Poor service, and tasteless food. It was unforgettable in a negative way. It was clean though.

Located inside Anvil and Forge!…read more This is a locals haunt. They use old world farm type of textiles to fuse old with new world. They have art on the wall for sale. It's colorful, loud and tough with spirits! Now the kitchen inside the distillery is the Foundry Kitchen. It's a local haunt that sells pizza, salads, burgers, and various other food items. Get your grooves on and enjoy the eats of authentic food in all its glory. The service is great. When you order a soda from the bar they have free refills. They have complementary water in the lobby area that's self serve. They bring the food to the table based on the number assigned. Love the rich and spicy sauces they use. However you go make sure and have fries along with your burger or sandwich they are truly delicious. The best of evening fun, food, and brews here. I

We stopped in Springfield on our road trip and found this place for a burger and it was very yummy…read more The only downside is they only offer HUGE burgers but we were able to share so it worked out for us. I also had one of their beers but can't remember which one, maybe it was blueberry?? It was good but a little sweet so wish I had gotten a smaller one. The fries were also great, obviously home made. I will say we sat outside because it was a gorgeous day but you can't walk back in the side door so you have to walk around to the front every time which was odd and inconvenient.

We had an amazing experience here today. From the moment we walked in, the owner personally greeted…read moreeveryone, which immediately set a welcoming tone. She even made a point to walk around and check on each table, making sure everything was perfect--that kind of attention really stood out. I ordered the Thai pork bowl, and it was absolutely packed with flavor--perfectly balanced with a little heat, a touch of sweetness, juicy pork, and a satisfying crunch from the coleslaw. The sauces tied everything together beautifully. My wife got the chicken ranch sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. I took a bite myself and was seriously impressed. The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the bread was outstanding, and the candied bacon took it over the top--truly next-level. This sandwich was done right. To finish things off, we tried the oatmeal cream pie cookie, and it did not disappoint. It was soft, perfectly baked, and full of rich flavor. I even had to grab a side of that candied bacon to go--it was that good. We'll definitely be back.

Get the bread - you won't need it (the bowl is huge), but they make it and grill it and it is delicious. Get a cookie to have later (I ate mine over the course of 3 days). I recommend the chocolate peanut butter. The service is friendly and efficient. Ambience is okay. It's busy and the seating is a bit uncomfortable and tight, but they did maximize the utility of the space.

I can see why the business hasn't quite claimed their business in Yelp; a few of these reviews…read moreleave a lot to be desired. However, I approve of some of the reviews as they do a nice job of describing the vibe. PAPO! I just wanted to type/yell that word because it feels fun to me! The cafe's name is in reference to both of his grandfathers, just an fyi. Okay, so Papo's (even though I'm not using all caps, I'm still shouting it) is a locally owned cafe. They thought of all the things by including a drive-thru, plenty of seating inside, a party space you can rent out, etc. It goes head-to-head with other corporate competitors that shall not receive free advertising from moi. I really like their setup, you have to walk towards the back of the space to put in your order at the counter. It reminds me of eating at a posh children's museum or aquarium. A lot of variety, many healthy choices, and some sweets here and there. It's designed to guide you through choosing a drink, grabbing a side, ordering food and coffee, then grabbing a seat while its being prepared. The food is made in-house, and it shows. I ordered an Açaí bowl and tried a donut. Delicious! My daughter loved her avocado toast+egg+balsamic glaze. My husband ate his food so quickly, I'm not even sure what he had! All that to say, it's very good and it's quite small. I was a little surprised, as the Açaí bowl was $10.99 and the same size I would give to a child. So, be ready for that and order more so you don't have to go up twice. The design is alright, it seems to be more of a minimal aesthetic. I took a picture of the buffet area near the seating as an example. It looks like there should be more there, not sure what but I'm guessing it too was affected by the pandemic. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful that the trend of the early 2000's is a faded memory. No, it's not cool to put street signs, sarcastic signs, clever signs, skis, fishing poles, and other tchotchkes on the wall. I digress. Papo's is nice, the food is quality, and I would recommend checking them out. Be sure to grab a donut with fruit loops on it before heading out! That alone is worth the trip.

Everyone talking about pre-workout this, pre-workout that ... what about post-workout?!? What are…read moreyou doing to fuel your body after showing up for your workout? Papo's Cafe has become a staple in my Saturday morning routine and for good reason! Yes, there are plenty of sweet treats, muffins, cake pops, etc. which I always look at and sniff but have yet to indulge in. What hits home for me? The meat lovers bowl is packed with protein and a dollop of avocado adds a healthy creaminess that you don't have to feel guilty about. In a world full of cheat codes this is one choice you don't have to feel bad about. Treat yourself to a beautiful setting (the restaurant is clean and inviting) and a top tier meal, this has been the perfect way to decompress after a good pump!
