Catfish nuggets were on point and those ranch cajun fries are fantastic! Will eat here again.

I'm picky with restaurants - whether $5 or $50 I expect them to deliver on 1. Friendliness 2. Food quality 3. Cleanliness. This delivered, well, on all. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the enthusiastic manager. They were giving us multiple samples, recommending food for our unique diet, and never rushed us. They were personable and friendly and honestly delightful. They all acted like they enjoyed being there. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Sweetfire Chicken and if they hadn't recommended a sample I would've never even got it! It had fresh pineapple and red pepper and was delicious. The veggie rolls were piping hot as was the sauce. Orange chicken was great! Shrimp was good! No gristle in the chicken, and that's hard to come by with Chinese food around here. The tea was delicious. The restaurant was immaculate. They were all efficiently cleaning while we were there and it was a very pleasant dining experience! 5 stars, will definitely return!

I was going to get a double portion cuz I was really hungry or thought I was from getting the nasty chicken on Tuesday... But she talked me out of it and now I know why because it was worse than getting the chicken at the new Long John silver's. Panda Express didn't have no brown rice which everyone knows it's healthier so I think that should be on the menu instead of the white rice which is fattening and I did get three crab rangoons but you couldn't taste no crab in it and they were stale too or not fresh. The chicken was not good either. Probably why there was nobody there parked at their location or in the Drive-Thru except me. Thanks to the cashier who waited on me and talked me out of getting the double portion; she was at least nice.

Review Visit: May 12th, 2015…read more I'm still salty about this place. Why am I salty about Freddy's? It's not that I had bad service or anything like that. It's just all that I could taste when I ate my food. I wasn't even sure if I was going to visit Freddy's since it is more of a chain than a locally-owned place and the latter is more of my focus for my Travel List. It's a small chain with rare locations for my area, so I figured "why not". Freddy's was unique yet all-too-familiar upon entering. It's your standard fast food eatery where you place your order at the counter and wait for it to be brought to your table or you pick it up at the counter. My girlfriend and I were rather hungry, so we ordered a lot of food. Something that can be a bit risky if it's a new place that neither of you have been to. I ordered a burger, a hot dog and some fries. The fries are just like the ones you get at Steak N Shake. Actually, if you took S'n'S, made it red/white themed and made it more fast food orientated, you would have Freddy's. We wasted no time chowing down the food. I ate the hot dog first and it was okay. It was good but the flavor was a bit overpowered by the salt in the dog, bread, and toppings. Then I moved on to the burger (while munching on the fries in-between everything). The fries themselves, I hated. They were good on their own as most french fries are. Its just something about thin-cut fries that makes me angry. Drop some normal-sized fries or steakhouse fries in front of me and you have a happy blogger. But, that's just a personal preference. Again, the fries themselves were fine despite their lack of size. Where was I? Oh. The burger. The burger suffered the same fate as the hot dog. It was pure salt. It's as if they took the salt they normally sprinkle on the fries and sprinkled it on the burger and dog instead. This lead to some mild discomfort after the meal, if you can imagine that. The bloat was real. For it being a simple combo meal, it was alright when it came to the value. A simple burger, a hot dog, fries, and a drink should fill most everyone up. They have other combo meals should you not be a fan of hot dogs or burgers. I would visit a Freddy's again if I was with someone who had never been before. I'm always for second chances. I would make sure to get a water with my meal to help my body deal with the potential sodium overload that was being cooked for me.

1 star way to much!…read more Walked in and order taker was on phone with a Doordash customer, "wait a second" he said, then 5 minutes later, still on phone, he walks over into the office and disappears. At least 6 or more staff working the window and driveup and in house orders, just give us a glance and look away. Disgusted, we walk out, and give the good news to a fellow coming in not to expect much, if any service. This is same location that we stopped going in after the following problem with an order. I asked 3 hard shell tacos. When we got to the table and started to eat, we notice all three were "Short" on meat. I can honestly say the meat was almost non-existent on all 3 shell, just lettuce. I went back to the counter, handed bag, showing one taco to the guy, and said there is nothing in these. He said he would fix them right up. He did, all three were loaded and overfilled with more lettuce! I dumped the bag on counter and we left. Did not darken the door there for several years. Note we just live about 2 blocks N or this store which is on 3025 W. White Oaks Drive, Spfld, IL. Looks like it time take a "TimeOut" again. Looks like Arbys, Culvers and even McD will be getting more business when we just want a quick bite, which apparently is NOT available at this location.
