Been here a few times and cannot recommend this place at all. Ordered a bean burrito and it had beef in it, my order was repeated back to me so somewhere between taking the order and making it there is a huge disconnect. Staff is friendly but the small portion sizes, high prices and lack of basic attention to detail make this place a fail. Would give zero stars is allowed. read more

Favorite fast food in town. Located across the street from Taco-Hell, I haven't been back there since discovering this wonderful one stop shop. I haven't had a thing on the menu I didn't like. Pork tenderlone is the best in town. Chips and chese will change your view of cheese nachos. Both chicken and beef tacos rock! French fries are to die for. Horseshoe is killer. Infact I plan on getting one tonight. My favorite item on the menu, fish tacos. Available only on Tuesdays and Fridays but well worth the trip. My family is vegan so our choices for drive thru options are limited; however, we enjoyed going to Chaditos 1-2 times/week and getting corn tortillas with just rice and beans. The first handful of times we went to Chaditos and ordered this specific item we made it clear that we understand we are asking for a special item and are happy to pay any price to recieve the accommodation. Unfortunately, today we could overhear the kitchen employees complaining about our special request. "Is that on the menu? NO! How hard is it to just order oflf the menu.". My child was in the vehicle and had to overhear an adult employee degrade our families choice to be vagan. We wanted to support a local business and didn't feel asking for a taco with two ingredients would be such an inconvenience to the employees but since they made it clear our business is unwelcome, we will happily support the other businesses in town that are much more kind with their accommodations. read more

We stopped at Chaditos on our drive home from Chicago. This was a nice treat, a step above fast food restaurant, where you don't have to drop a fortune or a lot of time. You can drive through or walk up to the counter. There is limited seating inside and a hand full of tables outside (perfect for us with our dog). We ordered a sampling of foods and shared. The portions are very generous. We had a beef taco, a bean tostado, a chicken supreme sancho and beef supreme tacos. Everything is made to order and delivered hot and fresh. They season the ground beef with lots of chili powder instead of lots of salt; very tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The small order of nachos was huge. The sancho was probably my favorite, but everything was really good. I'd highly recommend this for a quick lunch when on the road. The burgers also looked really good! read more

So terrible. In no world should it take three staff members 30 minutes for two burgers and two tacos when you're the only people in the establishment. For Athens location: One of the worst customer service experiences. I can deal with slow but the two staff members I encountered were very rude. There were also only two other people in there but they acted like they were swamped and we were a nuisance. Shrimp tacos were okay. Frozen popcorn shrimp with some pre-packaged shredded lettuce and cheese with their special sauce. Wouldn't return. read more

I went through the drive thru at Chaditos today because I didn't have enough time to stop somewhere because I'd used up my lunch hour running errands. I was pretty skeptical of a place that has both horseshoes AND tacos on the menu but boy was I mistaken. Chaditos has awesome tacos!!! I tried a beef and a chicken, both were excellent but I'd definitely recommend the chicken over the beef. The tacos don't come with sour cream but add it - it's definitely worth a few extra calories. Chaditos is definitely better than Taco Bell and Taco Gringo, the other drive thru alternatives in town! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Pulled up to carry out with one car in front of me with no one behind me and the girl at the window took that order and simply shut the window. She could have EASILY taken my order and got both at the same time. It took five minutes to the complete the order and then I pulled up to the window, waited another minute and left. Went to the chadito's on Andrew road. This is our second time going there. First time, used the drive-thru and service was slow, didn't get half of what we ordered. Decided to give them another try but this time went in to order and take home. Server was rude and yet again, did not get our order right. Will not be going to this restaurant again. read more

I've been living out of town for a couple years now and have not found a fish taco like the ones I used to loooove at Chaditos, so of course, getting one while back in Springfield was on the list of must do's. I realize it's a Friday in Lent so the demand for fish is high, but really they might as well called them lettuce tacos. In the past, I remember getting three fish strips in each taco. Today there was one measly fish finger and gobs of lettuce in each taco. Disappointing for sure. Not sure what was going on there today but I would have rather been told that were out of fish than have spent $7.00 on two lettuce tacos. read more

I want to be fair .the man said they make most the food fresh. But I must say if your looking for real good Mexican food they are one step better than taco bell .they are a fast food place with a real chance to make food with more real Mexican ingredients like steak or chiuaua cheese .but it's the same old hit and get. I used to be a huge fan of Chaditos and would recommend them to anyone. In the last year or so they have really gone downhill. Prices have raised (but that's everywhere) however food quality and portion sizes have gone down. The cheese sauce isn't the same, the beef is greasier, the fish is almost always ridiculously overcooked. Employees are dirty and look like they don't bathe regularly and they are often rude. My most recent example is from today, I ordered a bean burrito. Chadito's used to have the best bean burrito in town, hands down. The last two times I have ordered this, it has basically been a flour tortilla filled with lettuce and one tiny scoop of beans. Complete rip off. Beans are cheap Chad, come on man... either put up or shut it up. When you were there everyday the place was awesome. I haven't seen you there in over a year and well... it's very likely that I will not be giving you another chance. I've been burned too many times, and your employees are rude. read more
