From out of town and specifically California so authentic Mexican food is a common and hard to beat compared to the west coast foodie scene. I came with an open mind and had a great time, great hospitality, attentive service by several workers and yummy food! The flavors were good but compared to Cali, could use more seasonings on the beans. The beans didn't have the traditional lard/cream in them and were a slightly different flavor. I assume flavors need to be a bit more bland here and well done given the clientele. So with that in mind, we all enjoyed our food, left very full, had fun fun drinks. The meat and shrimp were well done. I prefer a little softer but again I didn't mind knowing who they are cooking for. The chicken in the taquitos were soft and moist! It was so fun to have the make the guacamole table side. I would add garlic and pepper to the guacamole but it was delicious. The chips feel homemade and def got us full. Portion size is large and we def had leftovers. We def would come back. Pleasantly surprised and will say, for out here it's pretty tasty too! They seem they can handle large groups with ease and remain calm. Thanks to all

Big menu, great service and good food. Lots of seating. Steak and shrimp fajitas are both great and this is coming from a picky meat eater. Steak meat isn't tough or fatty and shrimp is pretty big and they give you plenty. The asada bowl and shrimp bowl are both good. IMO it's all a little bland but I'll take bland over poor quality and high price. Nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. I'm glad this place is here. Please try it, it's decent!

Stopped here after a long day at the state fair and was not expecting to have some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had! The guacamole was made tableside and was truly in the top 3 tastiest guacamoles of my life. We also got the birria tacos queso style and they were very tender and flavorful. Rice and beans were great too!

Food was a little on the greasy side but good overall, especially for a quick bite.. Fries, na drinks, and rice were highlights.

Ordered DoorDash from Rancho Chico today after never having been there. It was fantastic! The chimichanga was nice and crisp and packaged separately from the beans and rice which kept it from getting too soggy from the beans. The beans and rice were delicious, too. Our tostada side was also very good, but did get soggy due to the toppings. Even so, the flavors were still great and it was a huge portion size for being a side order. We will definitely be making a trip to the restaurant itself to sit down for a meal soon, and are very excited to try more of their menu!

I ordered a chicken chimichanga and my wife ordered a chicken quesadilla. I didn't read the details on the menu but the chimichanga is not a typical filling and when I checked the menu again it says deep fried or baked burrito do it had rice and beans in the filling and was very large. Despite the unexpected filling it was still good but I couldn't eat all of it. My wife's quesadilla was exactly what she expected and she said it was good. We got some chips and salsa as we waited. I'm pretty sure that the chips were house made since they were different from other kinds of tortilla chips I had. The salsa was good, but I definitely would've loved a little more spice to it. We got the Enchiladas Suizas and a Fajita Burrito. The burrito was pretty good, but if I were to go again I'd probably choose something different from the Enchiladas. Just was not for me. I did like how spicy they were though! One thing that also stood out was that much of the time when I go to Mexican restaurants, the portions are pretty big for the prices. The portions were definitely not tiny, but smaller than I would maybe expect for a Mexican restaurant for the price that we paid. I'm not sure if we would choose to go back in the future since it was a stop along the way for a trip for us, but it was not a bad stop. They do have a large parking lot out front which makes parking super easy and that is always a huge plus!

Authentic Mexican Flavors with a Beautiful Presentation!…read more This place serves some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while! I ordered the green enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious--perfectly rolled tortillas filled with flavorful meat, smothered in a rich green sauce, and drizzled with crema and queso fresco. The refried beans were smooth and creamy, and the rice was fluffy with a great seasoning. The burrito was a showstopper! Stuffed with tender steak and grilled veggies, then topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce and fresh pico de gallo. The drizzle of crema and queso fresco gave it an extra layer of indulgence. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was very generous! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I thought the chicken was stringy and tough but I agreed with her about the beef and the tortillas themselves were great. Neither of us liked the chips and salsa...the chips were dry and the "salsa" tasted like tomato sauce that had a little hot sauce added to it. The atmosphere was tired and, on a day when it was 100-plus outside either the air conditioning couldn't keep up or, worse, hadn't been turned on at all.
