Smells and tastes like a warm hug!! Wow, this spot is dangerously delicious and consistent! The service is spot-on, and while I've only ordered for take-out, there are probably 10 seats total for dine-in capacity. Would recommend eating with a scoop of vanilla ice cream :) Parking can be tricky in the area.

My sister introduced me to Levain cookies a few years ago and we've been hooked since then. Every place we visit that has a Levain bakery makes it a must visit. When I can't get to the bakery, I door dash it :) I'm not a big dessert person, so I cannot finish a whole cookie by myself. But I cannot resist tasting it! The fragrant smell of butter and chocolate is too enticing to ignore. I especially like getting a fresh cookie from the bakery because it's served fresh and warm. Although I can warm it up in the oven or microwave at home, it taste way better when I've just gotten it form the source. I hope to try the other goodies on my next trip to a Levain store.

This is a famous cookie shop based in NYC and the location here in Seaport is beautifully designed and the smell of delicious cookies when you walk in is mesmerizing! They have a variety of cookies to choose from including their most famous ones like chocolate chip walnut, dark chocolate peanut butter chip, & oatmeal raisin. I opted to grab the seasonal lemon cookie and chocolate chip walnut. Service was quick and friendly and I had my cookies less than a minute after paying. Both were tasty and filled to the brim with chocolate chips and lemon chips and they were soft on the inside and chewy and crunchy on the outside. I love how big the cookies are and they are easily shareable. If you are a fan of cookies, you have to come check out Levain bakery! They also have merch that you buy can buy on the left side and seating on the right side of the bakery.

Love a fresh baked Levain cookie! I had my first taste of Levain in Boston at the Newbury location and had to stop at this newer Seaport shop. The fall chocolate chip cookie was delicious-large chunks of chocolate chips with warm fall spices made the best combination. Large cookies with crispy edges and a chewy texture inside. Yum!!

The cookies at Levain Bakery are exceptional. The aroma of freshly baked pastries greets you upon entering, setting the stage for a delightful experience. The chocolate chip cookie is the highlight. The cookie has a slightly crispy, golden-brown edge and a soft, gooey, buttery-rich center and with a generous amount of chocolate chips. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Levain has a cozy, yet bright atmosphere. Levain Bakery offers an unforgettable cookie experience. You'll want to visit again.

Bakery back east. Had a dinner meeting at local restaurant. On my way I found this back to my hotel. I walked in and they were still baking. Their aroma from their cookies filled the room. I walked up to counter see photo of what I saw. I got two cookies and when I got back to the hotel they were still warm. So good. I went back to get some before my flight back home!

Levain cookie review is straight-forward- decadent & delicious! From the basic chocolate chip to the speciality flavors they have all been good. The Lemon white chocolate, toffee chocolate, black & white, and Pb chocolate limited editions are totally worth it and the toffee hot chocolate I tried at my recent visit did not disappoint. These are thick, rich, cookies- I usually eat about 1/3 and save the rest in the freezer. The Seaport location has been consistently less crowded than the original Newbury street location when I have popped by which just makes it feel more accessible- but both are very nice. They have been offering more fresh-baked bread/rolls and a couple of sandwiches including this delicious butter &jam baguette. Both locations I have been to are small, mostly in and out, but the Seaport location has a few counter area/high chair spots to enjoy the treat onsite. They are also doing bread and some nice-looking savory sandwiches now... several people were there buying the fresh Boules which you can ask to have sliced. Levain is worth the hype and is a great special treat or speciality gift you can get wrapped up in a nice box. Check it out!

Finally got to check out new Levain Bakery in Seaport! It is up to Levain decor aesthetics, of course. I went on a Tuesday evening so there was no line at all. I got my usual chocolate chip walnut cookie. It is huge, decadent and buttery. One thing to complain: my cookie was not warm at all.

I wasn't expecting the cookies to be warm!! So good! Always wanted to come here and was glad to stumble upon this location in seaport. The chocolate chip walnut and chocolate caramel coconut are so good, like outstanding good. If you like super sweet cookies with a gooey center, this is your place.

Lots of greeters at the door! They were handing out super cute totes-see pic! Everyone was friendly and happy to be there. It smells delicious when you walk in! I treated myself to 4 flavors - one is for my hubby! The cookies are cooked perfectly! Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Choco chip walnut is their classic - can't go wrong! The coconut caramel is super delicious- this is my fave! And the double chocolate peanut butter pairs perfectly with my coconut caramel crunch Kauai coffee. Their holiday cookie is a chocolate peppermint - I'm not a fan of mint chip but I know my hubby will love it! Definitely will be coming back!!!! Welcome to the neighborhood! Update: day 2 of eating these, I've decided the chocolate peanut butter is my fave!

Levain walnut chocolate cookies are one of favorites and this locations were perfect. It was just warm enough with a soft gooey center but crispy edges. My husband enjoyed the lemon cookie. Service was great and the shop was clean.

I finally had the opportunity to bite into the infamous LEVAIN cookie. I ordered a Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie and it was everything everyone said it was. Crunchy on the outside, moist and soft on the inside. It had the right amount of caramel and coconut so you knew you weren't just eating a chocolate chip cookie. The service was great as it was served perfectly warm as if it just came out of the oven and not sitting out. There's enough chairs and tables to sit and chat. Paired with a cold glass of milk this was heavenly. This location closes at 10pm which is perfect for late night sweet cravings.

THANK GOD BOSTON HAS A LEVAIN!! I went to my first Levain in Chicago and have been craving their cookies ever since. I was so glad to stumble upon this cookie shop in Seaport. When you walk in it smells like freshly made cookies. I always enjoy having the chocolate chip walnut cookies with a glass of milk! It was very busy but the service was great and the employees were super helpful for those that have not been before.

Overly sweet chocolate peanut butter cookie tasted weakly of chocolate and even less of peanut butter.

The Chinese name is "Juxiang Mianbao Fang聚香麵包坊". It had the taste of an old-fashioned bakery and…read morewas very cost-effective. Portuguese Egg Tart葡撻: The shop keeps the egg tarts in a warming box, which is very thoughtful. I've always preferred the cookie crust of old-fashioned Hongkongese egg tarts; they don't crumble or feel sticky in your throat. The custard filling looked a bit overbaked on the surface, but it was still smooth and creamy inside. The milk and egg flavors were qualified, and it was not too sweet. While not particularly amazing, it definitely deserved 4 stars, especially for a Cantonese person like me who hasn't had egg tarts in a long time. Hongkongese Egg Tart蛋撻: The crust is the same as the Portuguese egg tart, but the custard filling seems a bit more diluted, with a lighter milk flavor and a stronger egg flavor. People who aren't used to it might find it a bit eggy. I still prefer the former. Custard Bread奶黃包: Recommended by the owner, and it was definitely the best thing there! I ate it the next morning, but the bread was still soft, and the crust wasn't dry. The custard filling was generous, sweet, creamy, moist, and had a slightly grainy texture. Sausage Bread腸仔包: The seasoning was quite interesting, with a hint of wasabi (?). However, the sausage itself was just average, with a slightly starchy texture. Breads generally cost $2-4 each, and here four items were only $8+, enough to last me all day Important Reminder: Cash only for orders of $10 or less.

Came to Boston for a work trip and really wanted to eat something light and healthier. I loved it…read moreso much I came back twice! I came during lunchtime on a Monday. It was adequately busy but still had seats open. The lunch menu is very affordable! If you can, I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Service was really quick! Received my meal in like 5-7 mins after ordering. Fish was super fresh and I really liked the different textures in the Hoseki Don. I also added in negitoro. They gave me a big clump of it! The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces. It was a very satiating bowl. Cant wait to come back next time again!
