Chicken thighs out of a deep fryer swimming in oil.

I sent you guys some messages on other platforms but no one has gotten back to me. Ordered takeout earlier this week that was inedible. I don't want to leave a bad review but if no one follows up ... well here we are. Chicken thighs that clearly went into the deep fryer. Oily oily oily, salty. Not delicious fish sauce salty, just salty. If dishes like this can't be executed well take them off the menu. It was almost $17. If I had dined in I would have sent this back.

Food is so fresh and a lot of flavor . Service was spectacular and very friendly. I came in because of the reviews on the dumplings but the food here is all great and well worth it .

My new favorite spot in Alvin!!! Family owned by really kind people! Delicious food! The Vietnamese coffee is a gem you won't find anywhere else! Great treat at the end of your meal.

Good little Pho noodle joint. Seats about 30. Fresh veggies, nice Pho broth, basic but good and a good value for the money. Canned soda & fresh brewed tea are the drink options.

Crispy garlic & butter wings are as big as drumsticks. Extra crispy with just enough sweetness. Best WIngs I have ever had.

My high school BFF and I come here once a month for a realxing delicious lunch. She comes from Danbury and I come from Pearland. Best Vietnamese food & definitely worth the drive. I don't go to Bellaire anymore. Today I had the garlic & butter wings. They are to die for. So yummy. The wings were as big as drumsticks. So crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. Best wings I have ever had.

Fresh and delicious pho! This is my second time eating from Pho Barr in Dickinson, and both times,…read moreI greatly enjoyed it. The first visit I dined in, and this time I got pick up. Their fresh, delicious food and milk tea with boba were ready in a jiffy, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and welcoming. So excited to have this restaurant near my home! I'll definitely be back again.

Came to try Pho Barr for the first time today…read more We ordered the Bò Lúc Lắc on the hot stone plate and the Bún Bò Huế. The Bún Bò Huế lacked the traditional rich flavor I'm used to, but it tasted clean and wasn't oily. It also didn't include the traditional pork blood, but mixing in shrimp paste, lime, fish sauce, and chili helped bring it closer to the authentic flavor. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. We had to get up ourselves to ask for a water refill. While in the middle of eating, one of the girls brought our check and said, "Whenever you're ready, no rush." It felt like we were being rushed out while I was still actively eating and it wasn't busy. What was especially disappointing was that she never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to order anything else before closing out our tab. I had planned on ordering a drink after my meal, but after that experience, I decided I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service left a lot to be desired. Better hospitality would have made a big difference.

We love the food here, just wish the customer service was a bit more helpful. No one is rude. It just feels like they're focused on getting the food out rather than answering questions. For me, service is part of the overall experience. One example, the menu doesn't list ingredients for the shaking beef banh mi. I asked what was in it and got a pretty vague answer like "beef" and a few other items. When it came out, it had sour cream, which wasn't mentioned. I can eat it, just not my preference, so it would've been nice to know upfront. * Garlic wings - according to my wife, absolutely amazing * Pork & egg banh mi - really good and fully loaded * Egg rolls - good size and fried perfectly * Char siu pork stir fried noodles - nice kick from the black pepper * Shrimp fried rice - simple but flavorful * Shaking beef banh mi - different from what I usually get (with rice), still tasty overall The inside is tight and not really suited for big groups--more of a quick in-and-out kind of place.

One of my favorites but I came into a small fortune and blew it all at Nobi. The food as always,…read morespectacular. I ordered the stir fried noodle with Sweet chili wings and to pork tacos that are the size of a size 6 in a woman's shoe. Stuffed with meaty goodness and topped with fresh cilantro, onions and their salsa all wrapped in comfort with corn tortillas and then wrapped in shiny foil paper. The wait for online orders is about a 25-30 minutes as it is a tiny kitchen, serving HUGE flavors. The place is always popping with guest enjoying their libations and soaking it up with the cuisine. Small, outside seating available with nice couches and bar tables to feast. I highly recommend if you haven't partook already. Love the ambiance, love the people. These people cook like how Jesus loves people.
