I ended up ordering 1 sundae, and both of my friends each ordered an iced drink. I got the sundae right after I ordered. One friend got her tea drink quickly, but received a hot version instead. The staff took the drink back and poured the hot drink with some ice into a new cup. After 10 minutes of waiting, my other friend asked to double-check if the last (matcha) drink was still being made, and it turns out someone took her order. The staff offered to remake the order, which it took ~5 minutes. This wasn't the first time someone had stolen an order. Just after I ordered, I heard a man talking to the staff about his order, which also was missing. When my friend was waiting for her drink, I think I saw someone walkout with a similar looking drink, but I thought nothing of it (because I wasn't sure if they had ordered the same thing). I suspect that one person might have been taking orders, but the staff hadn't noticed. Honestly, it was a bit annoying that someone took her order, but it's not entirely the staff's fault. However, for future customers, I really hope they verify orders by checking if the person taking the order has their order receipt. Also, as we were leaving, we saw some customers getting cake (and soft serve?) samples. I wasn't sure if they had asked, but we weren't offered any samples when we first arrived (and there wasn't anyone else in line then). Desserts are top notch. Can't rate the drinks because I didn't order any. Seating in the cafe area needs reservation and did not appear to be regulated by staff, which is silly. Their signature cake was not available at the time of our visit so we ordered a chocolate double cheesecake instead and also a montblanc. The montblanc is quite expensive but at least it came with a little bit of a show, where the server finishes the plating in front of you with the hazelnut strain, chopped hazelnut topping and powdered sugar spread... oh they even place a gold sign at on top! The cheesecake is best enjoyed when it's been thawed for a few hours. If you are like me you started eating the cheesecake when you opened the package and ate it still frozen. At this point the cheesecake tastes like a regular ice cream cake. Which I enjoyed but for the price it didn't seem to meet expectations. Then after I let the cheesecake thaw for a few hours and I had some more that's when I loved it! The cream melts in your mouth, it's so smooth, balanced, not too sweet. At this point I was in love with the cheesecake and I ended up eating the entire thing by myself. What I thought was cool is that when you walk into the shop they have on display at the counter all the cakes and options so you can see exactly what you will get, the size, and the prices. I wish you could handle all orders at the register, especially since I waited in line for a bit only to be told to order at the table.
