My wife and I were in town in the Seattle area and since we are proud dog owners, we enjoy checking out dog cafes. Coby's Cafe was easy to find with parking available. There was a small entrance fee for dogs, and they checked that our dog had up to date vaccinations. When we were there were several dogs there including Coby and the owner of the establishment. All the dogs and owners were friendly. There is a sectioned off cafe where you can order from the dog area via app or could cross over and order. They had different coffee and tea drinks, we didn't try their pastries. We did however order the homemade pet treats that our dog liked. The staff were also friendly and helpful, showing first timers how the cafe worked. The dog area is a pretty decent sized space and the tables have some space. We were in town for a visit but next time we're in Seattle we intend to come back. read more

We love that Coby's Cafe offers events for all types of dogs and also they're expanding their menu! I recommend the mango spritz with some coconut foam. We do love the croffles as well. Coby's Cafe is the first health-approved, indoor cafe that's dog-friendly in the Seattle area. I was happy to learn about a dog-friendly establishment opening, especially where dogs are allowed to roam inside. We visited Coby's Cafe for a pug meetup, which was a fun event! It's cool that Coby's Cafe hosts different dog parties, including breed-specific ones. We took our pug here, and were pleasantly surprised that there was parking in Seattle! Coby's Cafe is located in north Queen Anne towards Interbay and the building it's located in has parking spots designated for customers, as well as tons of available parking nearby on the street. This isn't always the case for Seattle, so this is a huge win! Coby's Cafe is not a large space, but a decent size for dogs to play and run around in. After you're greeted by the staff, they give you a rundown of how the cafe works and dogs are allowed to be off-leash. They even have hooks where you can hang up your leashes and other personal items. Tables and chairs are set up on the side for humans to enjoy their café items, which you can order through the QR code at each table. Once your café items are ready, there's a pick-up window. Anywhere that allows my dog to freely roam around is a great place! Mary, the owner is very friendly and allowed all the dogs to run around and play, and even when our meetup was finished, she didn't rush anyone out. Her dog, Coby even came out to play with our dogs. She took a group photo and emailed all the registrants the photo the next day. There's even an area where you can take a photo with your dog, with a Coby's Cafe barista apron for your dog to wear! The café features bites and drinks, and some treats for dogs! There's also merchandise to purchase for your dog, including high-quality and locally-made treats. Super cute dog cafe! Took Suni here to have a play date with her friend Atlas. Loved that she got to interact with other small dogs as most of my friends have bigger dogs and they usually just chase her around the house. Drinks were yummy. I wanted to try the pandan waffle but didn't see that on the menu. I ordered Suni some woffles and she loved it. Will most likely be back since I like watching her interact with dogs her size. We loved our visit here and hopefully will bring our dog, Bingsoo, again soon! I really appreciated how the employees kept a good eye on the dogs here and made sure to regulate any unwanted behavior (marking/barking/rough play). They have cleaning supplies readily available for any accidents and the space is very clean. It is a small area (think typical cafe size) so if your dog needs space, it will be limited. Definitely only recommend if your dog is very friendly and gets along with most dogs. We also tried two drinks (iced matcha latte and iced americano) which were pretty good. My pup and I got invited to a birthday pawty which was held here. I was super excited for myself and my recently adopted rescue dog. This is a fun and adorable place to take your dog. It's a great alternative to dog parks for smaller breed dogs and also a nice indoor space to socialize your dog. I met the resident dog Coby (super cute guy) and his mommy and they are super sweet. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the Seattle area and have some time to kill. This cafe allows dog owners to come in, relax, and mingle with other dog owners and dog enthusiasts through a membership/registration. Non-dog owners are also welcomed to come in and purchase a beverage or food item, sort of like a cover charge to play with the dogs. The dogs are free to roam around and if you are lucky they will let you pet and run their bellies. As a dog lover, this is officially my new favorite place to be and a literal dog heaven. I don't have a dog of my own, so the concept of meeting and petting dogs while drinking a matchagato is my dream come true. The cafe is really cute, and there are two different entrances, one for only humans and another for humans with dogs. I went through the humans only entrance and ordered my drink. I appreciate how there's no separate admission for humans; all you have to do is order something from the bar, and they have a bunch of yummy options for humans and dogs. I ordered the matchagato, and it came with both a straw and spoon. The matcha flavor was great, and I love ice cream. I spent three hours at the cafe, got to meet the owner, Mary, and her dog and namesake of the cafe, Coby, and pet dogs both big and small. Such a cute cafe!! My husband and I brought our senior pup, Pablo because we pre-purchased an event ticket to their nail grooming event. Parking was easy since they have a lot in front, we pre-registered Pablo. The cafe space is really nice with lots of tables and room for the pups to meet and greet each other. I came here during winter weinerland and I was able to try their updated menu. First, we had their croffle with strawberry and cream and it was pretty good. It was sweet, crispy and enjoyable to eat. We also had their strawberry matcha which was pretty good. I'd recommend getting that drink if you're a fan of matcha. And finally, their kimchi tuna melt was tasty as well. A dog cafe in seattle?! Count me in! I was so excited to visit Coby's Cafe after watching it come together for months on Coby's instagram. I've came here twice so far, during the soft opening and during the winter wienerland event. Both times did not disappoint. As a heads up, if you'd like to bring your pups you will need to pay an entry fee for them and if you maybe don't have a pet, you're required to buy an item from the cafe to interact with the doggos. For food, we got the woofles, croffle, kimchi tuna melt, pandan waffle and strawberry matcha latte (subbed for oat milk). Our pup completely devoured her little woofles haha. And we enjoyed all of our foods as well with no complaints! We found out that the pandan waffle recipe is from Phin, located in the International District. Overall, the service is amazing! This is a super cool concept! There's a human side (no dogs) that functions like a regular cafe and a dog side (entrance on the side next to 206 burgers) that functions like a little indoor dog park/cafe. You can order anything off the menu for you or your dog via the QR codes on the tables and pick it up at the little window so you never have to leave the dog area and can supervise your pet. There is a fee per dog to enter and you should register online before coming at their website. If your dog is a little more chill like ours, you might want to come in the morning before it gets busy around 1or so and when some of the rowdier dogs seem to arrive. It also gets much more crowded (the number of dogs almost tripled from 4 when we arrived during the 90 minutes or so we were there and the energy and vibe shifted with more energetic dogs entering). To be clear, you still have to supervise your dog - it's not a daycare or anything, but it was a really good experience for us after our other dog passed recently to bring our corgi for some socialization while we are grieving his loss. We will definitely be back as it's an easy bus ride or drive for us and our dog loved the snacks she had! They do have options for vegetarian, vegan, and dairy free too! read more

I went with my Havanese on a Tuesday to check it out. The owner and her dog Coby are super sweet and greet you at the door! The set up is very clever. The food was yummy and both of us enjoyed our snacks. There are two separate spaces. One side of the cafe is pet free and that is where the food and drinks are prepared. The other side is an indoor off leash area with ample seating. They deliver food and drinks through a window that connects both areas. Really smart design. Murray and I will definitely be back. I would even recommend people who don't own a dog to visit. They can just sit and vibe surrounded by other people's dogs. read more

So we came here to check out the first dog cafe in Seattle. There's a few breweries and pubs who are dog specific and friendly but not a cafe. This is located in Fremont near SPU and has a separate entrance for the cafe portion and dog portion. They have a soft opening that we came for. Dogs are $7 or $12 for Two. You need to scan the QR code to provide information such as updated vaccinations, if your dog is friendly, if it bites or has attacked another dog before etc before you are admitted. We tried for human food: *Matcha latte *pandaman waffle *Banana loaf Dog menu *dog waffles five for $3 Our dog loved it so much we bought 10 more to bring home. Human & dog food are ordered via the QR codes around the tables and they call out your name at the window to pick up the human and dog treats. This seemed like a small dog place as the space isn't large and seems to fit a good number of smaller dogs. There was no dog water bowl which was interesting. There were a few dogs who appeared to actually not be friendly and another patron shared that which seemed odd for you to fill out a form that states your dog is friendly and for said dog to come by and you be warned it's not typically friendly. So I would be sure to keep an eye on your dog as others seem to think it's ok to bring non friendly dogs and mislead other patrons. Overall a great concept and I hope they are able to fine tune it and thrive as we need more of these dog friendly establishments. read more

We are so happy that Coby's is now open!! We've been waiting for this dog cafe to open and we've been a few times now. Each time the experience has been great. They have both a dog + human menu (with matching items, which makes for a great photo op) and so far everything we've tried is great (woofles are my pup's favorites, I like their strawberry matcha latte). Entry is $10 and you need to pre-register your pet, which makes me feel safer having my dog off leash with other dogs in the space and while cleaning up after your dog is self-service, it feels very clean and fresh. Overall, we love it and look forward to coming here often! Weekends can get packed, so if you want more space and a quieter time with your dog friends, come on a week day. We brought our two dogs (a large floofy Samoyed and a dachshund mix) with us to check this place out. It is a little small if you have a lot of big dogs I would imagine, but worked fine for our group at that time --our two, about five small dogs and three medium sized dogs. The drinks/food section is walled off for food safety; you pick up your order at the sliding window. The decor is light and bright, completely immaculate. And the host is very warm and personable. She's made sure everything you might need is available. Our drinks were Americano & an iced milk tea (which was real tea, not bubble tea mix). And! We got a few Christmas "woofles" -a little pack of doggie treats. (Note: Everyone will instantly love you if you're in possession of woofles.) Cute place to go hang out with pups. read more

Finally got to check out this pup friendly cafe and i love how well kept the space is and friendly the staff are. I accidentally walked in through the back door, which is used for just the cafe. But the kind staff helped me get to the right door on the other side. Parking around the area is extremely easy as well, as they have dedicated spots both in front and back. When i got to the front door, i paid the entry fee and got in within less than 2 minutes (pro tip: sign the waver prior to save yourself time). The ordering of beverage was smooth thru the QR code in tables, drinks were tasty and although my drink order came out different, the staff were so kind to remake them for me! Thank you! I like that they have a very clear dedicated space for cleaning in case of accidents, lightweight chairs and stools that are easy to move around for when the space gets crowded. Love that we finally have an indoor meet up spot (esp in Seattle) to meet friends and socialize the fur kids over coffee and yummy bakery items! The facilities are brand new so its very clean, modern, bright, and doesn't smell gross. They also have a clean up station in case there are accidents. Ample free parking in a private lot is always a plus! The times I have been there the other patrons have been very respectful in terms of cleaning up after themselves and monitoring their pups. We recently rented out the facility after hours to host a birthday and everyone had a fantastic time! The jelly cake from bark&chomps is a must as well!
