As previous spa owners we knew the features we were looking for, so the sales associate (who we later found out was the owner) expertly guided us through the options. Value, features, and durability is what we were looking for. We'd been to a couple other stores and none could match Virginia Leisure's price and quality. Ultimately we purchased our spa there and would highly recommend them to anyone interested.

They are always willing to answer any questions about your tub and they will offer advice to ensure that you get a long life out of your hot tub. I was promised and paid for an extra cleanout pipe that ran the width of the deep end of our pool, just in case of flooding water! Well, our pool flooded, and they only put a pipe about 5 foot straight down. This caused a huge crack in the bottom of our pool. Other things that were wrong with the pool: 1) spa was not connected or piped to our pump in order to filter that water. 2) the pool is almost 5 inches higher on one side (not level at all).

We have children who LOVE to swim and my husband grew up by the beach so they are all great swimmers. In our last home in GA, we survived lockdown during the pandemic with an inflatable pool so of course, this was a major upgrade....until a couple of months after we moved into our new home, the problems began to surface. I don't know how many times we have dropped by Aqua Leisure Pools (ALP) since moving in for pool water testing, salt, chlorine, troubleshooting for the pool pump etc., but the guys there have all been so, so helpful, like a neighbor lending a helping hand. Most of the time, they'll suggest bringing in whatever part and they'll help look at it or test it and then give their recommendations. I mean, they're not the cheapest, but we want to give them our business because they have our trust! We're now in the process of getting a new pool liner (holy crap, why do they cost so much?!) because the last time we had the pool inspected, they found about 100+ holes that had been patched previously. So we're purchasing from ALP, because of the way they have treated us since the beginning. To my surprise, they stay open all year round. I believe they close Sundays. I guess they open for all the hot tub owners and clients that keep their pool open all year long too? The shop is on Battlefield, in the same lot as Carvel ( I feel so bad at times when we're going to ALP and the kids think we're getting ice cream LOL...). I believe they have multiple locations around CoVA as well. Highly recommend ALP! Stay safe, Friends!

Scheduling was a concern, the liner takes two weeks to come in but we had to wait another month to have it installed due to staffing issues- an everyday struggle (lately) for businesses. The install was a breeze! Their employees were so nice and did such a terrific job! They explained the process from start to finish and delivered on their promise. We appreciated their attention to detail and their professionalism, in this day and age we truly value people that care about their trade, it gives us a newfound respect. Anyone can sell you a liner but their customer service after the sale was spot on! You will not be disappointed if you go with Aqua Leisure for your new pool liner, trust me!

There seemed to be many different groups of people that were experts in different areas but I never knew who to ask the right questions to. My husband was texting Ron a lot and he would always initiate most of our questions. We were not informed most times about what was happening and why things moved so slowly. The excavation guy was quick and friendly. Most of the trucks hauling out had a bit of communication issues which caused some friction between the main guy. Jesse dealt with our concrete and pavers and deck which was a problem- not nice communication. They put in the wrong color of sand in about half the paver area and Jesse insisted there was only one color?? They finally did the best changing color but that was a mess. Everything took a lot longer than expected but in the end we do love our pool ( not really the wrong sand issue ) but communication was horrible. Overall we believe we got a quality job.

I read other comments on here about poor communication. Being someone that has worked with MANY contractors over time, not the case here. This was the smoothest construction project I have contracted out ever.

We opened up the panel and an ozone valve was cracked. I called and spoke to Chad. He suggested we bypass it and told me how. I went to Home Depot and bought 2 barbed connectors and some hose and my son was able to make the repair. CHAD saved me a service call at the least and my son fixed it easily. I'm sure East Coast would rather him come out but his phone help has secured their business for me. If I need repairs he will be who I call and if he needs to come out I won't mind because he has saved me from previous repairs. Very happy with Chad and East Coast Leisure! I should mention East Coast also has a terrific pool water department and the young people there have helped me hundreds of times.
