always helpful, however.... PR - 10,000 @ leslies - $89.99 PR 10,000 @ Amazon - $35.00 I would pay at leslies if it were an appropriate mark up but hey, thats too much read more

Update to the reply from leslies.... Thank you for caring enough to reply. My issue is that I found a product that you gave a 254% mark up over your competitor. I still love the service I receive when I walk in the door, but, im lost for words. I would pay 20% mark up over on line competitors to support my local business.... but 254% is highway robbery. I suggest you go online rather than spend 2.5X at your local (hope you dont look elsewhere) store read more

I needed a second opinion on the chemicals I had added to my newly drained and refilled pool water. With the recent Covid 19 conditions, I was able to request a water test if I dropped off a sample by their front store entrance. The results came over the Leslie's pool app and Bruce followed up with a call that afternoon! Nice! read more

Just had the best customer service experience with the General Manager, Bruce, who helped my husband and my brother-in-law. Very knowledgeable, kind, and he has a good sense of humor. We have a closer Leslie's Pool location to our house, but don't mind driving a little further for better service. read more

Manager was great, they have always been helpful. This store tends to be a bit pricing. Recently bought an open box of pool vacuum hoses that I thought were being sold as individual hoses. Turns out, they were used. Some very used. Cracked the minute I tried to connect. Some just sun burnt. 2 of the 7 were new. A bit annoying they someone at the store would box up used pool hoses like that and pretend they are new. read more

The staff is very knowledgeable about pool. I learned a lot of things I had no clue on about pools. Thanks Bruce for all your help. read more

If Bruce is so wonderful at what he does he must be selective with whom he provides decent customer service. He must've read my tshirt and copped an attitude before he even made it to the counter to ring us up. We were making the wekend rounds, picking up supplies and such and stopped in here for shock and copper algeacide. Since i had been out of town, and likely missed the promotional sales that typically occur prior to a Summer holiday weekend, I asked if they had coupons for what we were buying. I was akso perusing the internet to see if i could find something. He really didnt give us a straigbt answer and at one point he just walked in back. We stood there -probably slack jawed in disbelief. Upon his return i saw his name tag and title. Bruce did seem to pull out some kind of discount for $10 to apply toward our purchase. Stupid thing is Leslies supposedly has some kind of rewards program too. From their website: "Sign up and get 50 extra points. Earn a point for every dollar you spend. Earn a $5 reward for every 200 points. Plus receive exclusive deals only available to Rewards members. You shop with us, we reward you. It's that easy." We spend more than $100 every visit. Where is the payback on that? The weekday junkmail is the only stuff i see. I have a real dislike for pools thanks to this company. We walked out and my kid says this is a horrible location. No, its a good location, just horrible customer service provided by management. Really irks me that we have spent thousands of dollars at Leslies for supplies and service, not including the equipment "covered" by the builder of one of our pools and more often than not the service is less than reasonable. read more

I LOVE the people at the West Ray Rd store in Chandler! Bruce (Manager) and Melissa (Asst Manager) unfortunately they are almost always under staffed and over worked at this location! My husband and I naturally became friends with Bruce and Melissa just from checking our pool water weekly and after speaking with him for months about changing our pool equipment, we finally were ready to do it. Derek Wuttig (Pool Equipment installer/ Tech) came out and Replaced our entire system to the Leslie's Brand Jacuzzi Cyclone System and did an excellent job too! Everything was working great until there was a bit of a leak from one of the valves that just had to be tightened. When I called the store, they told me to call 1-800-Leslies to confirm my appointment. So I called and got someone who was overseas by the name of ELLA who wasn't listening very well or addressing my questions and concerns. It seemed like all Ella wanted to do was to get "someone In trouble" with her notes! I repeated myself several times and told her everyone did a fantastic job, and that I just need Robert to come out, if Derek is unavailable. Derek texted me that he couldn't make it due to a medical condition w/ his daughter and for me to ask for Robert who can help me. Ella then put some awful incorrect notes on my account and tried to get Derek in trouble for no reason? I was communicating with Derek the entire time. So this Rep (Ella) stirred everything up at CORP to try and get Derek in trouble for no reason!? Derek, being the good guy he is quickly changed his schedule around to come here today to fix any/all leaks and issues. Derek answered all my questions and concerns with excellence! Derek IS AN AMAZING ASSET TO LESLIES POOL SUPPLY STORE AND COMPANY! You are hearing it STRAIGHT FROM THE CUSTOMERS MOUTH! DO NOT LISTEN to overseas Customer Service Reps who have no idea what is going on here and barely speak english! TRUST YOUR LOCAL TECHS! They are ones doing all the hard work, in this heat mind you and know whats going on with their customers! Thanks Derek, Bruce, and Melissa! You guys are the BEST! read more

We just made our diving pool into a lap pool when the Coronavirus hit. I was already stressed and I knew we had to put chemicals in the pool. So we went into Leslies pool and repair. Michael was fantastic. He told us what we needed and was extremely helpful. I brought in a pool sample today to make sure everything was ok. Michael was cheerful and polite even though he was by himself and had several people in the store waiting. He was so nice , even though the phone kept ringing and he had 4 people waiting after me. Even though I didn't have to buy anything today, he was as cheerful as he was when we spent allot of money on chemicals the week before. What an inspiration he is during this difficult time. He has our business for life. read more

Every time I try to give Leslie's Pool another chance it's an awful experience. Today was no different. I don't know if the women "working" there was just totally inept or if she received very little training and was thrown into a busy store by herself by the corporation. Either way the service is bad. Additionally, Leslie's pricing is outrages and their "discount coupons" have so many restrictions (of course listed in very fine print at the bottom of the coupon) that they are useless. Each time I go to a Leslie's I come out swearing that I'll never return. This time absolutely will be the last time. I've been a pool owner for over thirty years here in the Valley. At one time Leslie's was the place to go. Those days are long gone. read more

I was just recently in this Leslie's pool location. I was helped by Nira Wannarka. I have to say she was very pleasant, helpful and answered all of my questions. I will now be going to this location due to her excellent customer service. I highly recommend this store! read more

I have gone hear a few times. I will be waiting to get water tested and they will continue to ring people out even if I was waiting first. Just frustrating. Yes I do buy chemicals too not just getting free tests read more

Nira W. at store #563 was super helpful and friendly during my trip to the store today as well as on the phone the day before. Thanks Nira.

I have owned and maintained pools at all of my properties for the past 25 years, and found Leslie Pool Supply to be very helpful and reasonably priced. Additionally the sales consultant at the Chandler store at 1960 West Ray Road in Chandler is very knowledgeable and always upbeat. Thank you Nira for always being knowledgeable, helpful, and for your upbeat disposition. Chris read more

Bruce and staff are amazing! Best, spot on advice every time. Wouldn't go anywhere else, ever.

I waited three minutes for the person working in the store to get off the phone and bring up my one item that I was buying. The guy was on the phone, he did tell me he would be just a minute however, I can't understand why anyone wouldn't be able to talk on the phone and ring up one item at the same time... I hope you don't chew gum, it would make for a very long walk! read more

Leslie pool usually okay with help and service, but the last time was a different experience. Nira was amazing, got me the right product, and saved me money by showing me the right product for the right job. She was so good I told her I wanted to give something back, she went above and beyond my expectations. read more

Up front, not a huge fan of Leslie's since they seem to have saturated the pool market here in Phoenix. That said, we needed (or thought we did) a product, and they were the most convenient store. Purchased said product the week prior in a nearby store. The next week we were out and we had to return it. We were near this store on Dobson and Ray, so I went in to make my return. The $20 item was paid for in cash, simple return, right? NO ! After some confusion on the part of the first staff member, he had to get a manager. Apparently, they will only refund cash within 7 days of a purchase, if it's purchased in another store ! Then they want to offer a store credit! I was in this store on day 8! Totally ridiculous!!! No such policy is on any signage, or on the receipt. I refused the store credit, as I hope to be in Leslie's again never. I then drove to the store of the original purchase 3+ miles away, and the return was made without comment or incident. I find it hard to believe this is really a policy. Since there are Leslie's all over the valley, how can you not transact business at multiple store, OR how can they not publish what is truly an unreasonable 'policy'. read more

Leslie's Pool Supplies sold me a box of shock and failed to tell me I couldn't return it!!! The salesperson KNEW I wasn't sure if it was the correct product AND He still didn't inform me it was against the law to return the product!!! What a job he did on me... got screwed by Leslie's Pool Supply and not even kissed!!! I am NEVER going to that chain of stores again and will advice everyone I know to find an alertnative pool supply company. read more

The sales staff in this store seems far more interested in boosting their commissions versus providing good customer service. The first time we visited was to buy a new brush attachment. While there we learned that they offer free water testing and would look at our vacuum filter. We wanted to buy the brush before we went home to get a water sample but were asked to wait until we came back to make a large purchase so it would make his numbers look better (his words, not mine). We came back with our vacuum and after looking at it he advised us that it would take a couple hundred dollars to fix it and we would be better off to buy another one. After careful probing on our part we learned that it could actually be fixed for $40. It now works like new. We went back two weeks later to have our water tested again. We bought the chemicals we were told we needed and followed the exact instructions she provided. 24hrs later the pool had turned into a giant algae feeding ground. So not only are their sales practices scandalous, they so apparently have difficulty making proper recommendations based on water test results. And when we tried to return the one unopened bottle of chemicals that we will not use, we learned they have a no return policy on cheongsams. Definitely not customer friendly. I will never do business with Leslie Pools again. read more

Bruce was very arrogant when I brought my recently purcahsed Navigator Hayward Pool vac into the store, I did cal first and he told me to bring it and he would look at it. I would have said that the CS that I received from this location was amazing up until today. I have purchased many things over the years, including 3 Hayward pool cleaning system. The newest one is less that a month old, and has never moved around the pool. I did let Bruce know that prior to bringing the vac in to the store, I hired Pool- Chlor to replace the filter cartridges and measure the suction: the suction was fine. Bruce let me know that he was ok with looking at the vac today, but if I had any other concerns I should call Hayward. We talked about the installation since they were offering free installation on some Hayward products and he said" that installation should not be needed for the vac, it is basically a plug and go. Bruce did say that he would inquire with Hayward services to see if they would look at the installation (that should not be needed) and call me tomorrow. If Bruce calls back, I might reconsider my thinking, maybe he was just a having a bad day. I am considering going to BBB and the Hayward Corp. if I am stuck with this Navigator system that dos not work. Will see what the outcome is. read more

Bruce is awesome. Knows every customer by name. He runs a great crew of guys. Will not trust my pool to anyone else. Thanks for all you do.

I needed a new pool pump and wanted to get a variable speed one. I saw that the Jacuzzi 2.5hp was on sale here. I was very hesitant based on negative reviews. But, since the pump comes with a 5 year warranty I figured that I would try. I called the Ray Road store and talked to Bruce. He was very helpful and set everything up over the phone. He even took off the $100 SRP voucher and did the paperwork. All I had to do was stop in and pay/sign. I told him I was in n a hurry as my pool has been sitting for several days already. (Another pool repair guy never showed up to fix my old pump!) I scheduled a date when Leslie pool service called. It wasn't as soon as I liked, but did it anyway. A few minutes later, Bruce from the Ray Road store called me. He said he saw in the system that I was scheduled for service. He knew I wanted it asap, so he called service and got me an earlier install date. Awesome! The pump was installed on time and programmed to save me money. A wonderful experience! read more

Worst purchase ever. Good sales presentation by Bruce, piss poor execution by installing team. $1500 paid for a non operational system, company and installer too busy to fix and resolve. Installed system, left papers on door and left. No quality check, no instructions, nothing! Inop system ruined planned weekend pool party but they didn't care. It was a Friday afternoon and they were "too" busy to fix obvious quality defects. I had to contact manufacturer to resolve. I will never use them again and will continue to fight for overcharging and underperforming. read more
