Not only did they give us a fair price on a Vita Spas Envie but they also financed it for us at 0% interest. During my research process, I read numerous online postings advising that a nearby, trustworthy…read moredealer is the most important aspect when buying a hot tub. Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!

I told him I needed their consultation service ASAP, 'coz I'm afraid my pool will turn green if there is no water circulation. He told me that he would call me back in 30 minutes, and in less than 30 minutes, he called me right back and informed me that his son Daniel Jr. would be in my place within 15 minutes. After I hung up the phone, his son Daniel was already knocking on my door. Daniel Jr. is polite and respectful, checked my pool pump and timer, and he told me that my pool pump had already given up and needed a replacement. He gave me a quote for a replacement, and his price is within the price range (I already checked how much it will cost to replace it). Daniel Jr. told me that he would come the following day around 7 a.m., and the next day, he was already at my place before 7 am. He got the job done in less than two hours; he cleaned his work area and helped me set up the new pool pump. Overall, my experience with this company is top-notch, with 100% customer service in mind. I highly recommend them, and you will not be disappointed.

Although he eventually canceled his service bill, I was still left with an additional balance on my water bill, and he never reimbursed me for it. No one was sent to inspect my home for moisture or possible water damage. Canceling the service bill did not address the stress, inconvenience, extra water charges, or potential damage caused by this mistake. I expected him to take full responsibility, reimburse the additional water costs, and arrange a proper moisture inspection. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this company. Did I mention the water was left on more than 48 hrs!!!

I even recommended him to my neighbor. I didn't realize my neighbor had to get on the horn to get him to finish the job, which he did do, with some hassle. I didn't know about this until recently. Chad is a down to earth guy and I completely trusted him. Turns out if you read the reviews on Chad Taylor at this site, they are completely accurate. It was excuse after excuse and lie after lie to drag this job out through the summer. When I gave him the check for $900 my wife said he could just take that money and cash it for himself and not even order a Jacuzzi top for us amongst other things. I thought she was paranoid. Turns out she was right. When I was in 2nd grade my teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Some of the kids said astronaut, or engineer or professional athlete, etc. Imagine what Chad would say: "I want to be a crook, and a liar." Chad would grow up to be exactly as imagined. I didn't bother to complain to Mission Valley Spa. Based on prior yelp reviews; I figured they wouldn't help me at all.

We first met with them in 2021 and they created several proposals, with and without a swimming pool, for different budget levels. We also got a few other bids from other companies, but their designs were so much less impressive and attractive that they weren't worth doing at all. We finally decided to move forward with a scaled-back version in late 2023. Garden View replaced our curved, multilevel brick patio with a modern paver one that is much larger and nicer. They also squared out our driveway and replaced most of our plants and trees with nicer versions. In the process, we also discovered that there were a number of foundation problems with our garage and office and they did all of that work too. Their electricians, plumbers, framers, concrete workers, and landscapers are all friendly and proficient and they make sure you are happy with the work, even years later.
