Birthday cake for my granddaughter was beautiful and delicious ! They did a wonderful job with the theme.

We were looking for someone to make us a cake for our baby shower and after getting several quotes we decided to go with Lesley's. We are so glad we did! Not only were they reasonably priced, the cake was gorgeous (looked almost exactly like the inspo pic I sent them) and so delicious. We will back!

I will not be going to or referring honestly ANYONE else. Lesley knows what she's doing, and I'm SO honored that I had the privilege of experiencing a cake from her!!! My son just turned 3 today, and his party was last Saturday at an Uptown Jungle. He asked for Spiderman! I wasn't really even sure what a good Spiderman cake would look like, but I had a couple of ideas. The cake was executed perfectly to my specific wishes and just looked spectacular! Lesley listened and delivered with grade A service, and she was so kind and excited about making the cake in general that I had known I made the right choice from the start! I asked for a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling because that's what my son wanted as well, and I'm still finishing the rest of it from my fridge -- and it's still so fresh and delicious!!! Overall, I've never seen/tasted a better birthday cake in person until now, and -- again -- super grateful to have this experience!!! Thank you, Lesley!!!

We had about two weeks until a birthday and we finally settled on a cake we wanted and the staff at Lesley's Creative Cakes were so helpful about what could be done within their packed schedule. The ordering process was quick and easy and sending the pictures I wanted, the response time was same day. Picking up the cake was easy I just texted and someone met me outside. Our sushi cake came out perfect! The cake and filling were so delicious. We will definitely use them in the future! I would definitely order a few weeks to a month in advance.

The first time I had the opportunity to try Lesley's Creative Cakes was when a friend was getting married in February of 2020. I fell completely in love with the coconut cake and buttercream. Later when planning my own wedding for November of 2024 I was delighted to find Lesley's cakes were as delicious as ever and they worked with me to create the design I wanted. During this time I also recommended them to another friend getting married and they loved Lesley's Creative Cakes too! Myself and both my friends can attest to how smooth the process is to order a cake for your event, how affordable it is, and how delicious they are! I recommend Lesley's Creative Cakes for any and all of your cake needs! FYI- I've been to a lot of weddings where not all the cake gets eaten, at my wedding every single slice was enjoyed on the wedding night!

I highly highly recommend Lesley's creative cakes! I have pictured my beautiful wedding cake that was so delicious! We had three different flavors and they were so good! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Lesley's Creative Cakes is. I ordered a cake for my daughter's first birthday. The communication was all via email and the response time was extremely quick and the information was very detailed and easy to follow. I had found a picture from Pinterest and I was so set on the cake looking identical to it. Not only did they deliver on the cake looking identical to the picture the taste of the cake was out of this world! I ordered a confetti cake with fresh strawberries and custard with buttercream frosting. I received SO many compliments. You can tell the ingredients they use are top notch. If you are wondering on pricing, I quoted 5 different places from all around the valley and Lesley's was the best price. My wife and I designed a beautiful and delicious 3 tier cake for our wedding. The entire experience was wonderful, from the weekly tastings deciding what flavors we wanted to get, to the engaged and timely responses to our questions and finally seeing the finished product on our wedding day. Our cake was Top: Orange Dreamsicle with cookies n cream filling, Middle: Spice cake and cream cheese filling, Bottom: Strawberry cake with strawberry jelly. We had a large group for our wedding and Lesley's helped us choose Chocolate Fudge with MINT Cookies N Cream Buttercream mini cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies to supplement our cake. I ordered a Squishmallow cake for my mom's birthday and it couldn't have turned out more perfect! The whole party revolved around this cake and I was so excited when I picked it up! We went with Lesley's Creative Cakes for our wedding and our cake was a huge hit!!! We were able to sample quite a few flavors and they were able to do small personal cakes for a fair price so we could try what we liked. We ended up doing a 3 tier cake with 3 different flavors so our guests had options! People don't talk about cakes much at weddings, but we had SO many people come up to us the next day saying how delicious and unique our cake flavors were! We did chocolate cake with strawberries, margarita lime (my fave) and snicker doodle. Highly recommend for any event or wedding! read more

Working with Lesley's to plan my wedding cake and desserts was such a breeze. The drive up monthly taste testing was the most brilliant idea ever. It was nice to space out the tastings to give us time to try them all. Also the communication with them was via email and so no documentation was ever left behind. I had this cake made for my fiancé for his birthday! He is a huge Fan of Initial D and Lesley's Creative Cakes did absolutely an amazing job. I have never seen my fiancé so excited for Cake. Not only did my fiancé love it but then he bragged to all of his friends and coworkers about his cake. I am pretty positive he was more excited about this cake than he was about his Gifts. It's rare for me to write a review, but I had to express to everyone how much I LOVED my daughter's birthday cake! Most cake shops you only get one or the other, beautiful design or very tasty cake but a very plain cursive happy birthday on top. The flowers on the cake looked amazing however the banner on the cake did not look like a professional wrote it. The taste of the cake was terrible and nobody ate it. So very sad! I left the cake out for the specific amount of time that the label on the box specified, even setting a timer to be sure. The cake was horribly soggy. We had originally asked for strawberry filing and apparently they did not get in time so we were given custard. The cake also had a very strong rum smell and taste and given that it was a kids birthday, the parents would not even allow the kids to try it. Parents didn't eat it due to the flavor and mushy texture so the whole cake was a loss. read more

10/10 on all scales regarding taste, design, presentation, efficiency and customer service! Lesley's creative cakes did not disappoint at all. I was one of Lesley's out of town customers , who was visiting Phoenix for my cousins baby shower. And I have to say this business was more than accommodating on what would have been considered short notice in my city ! She took my order and made sure she understood completely what I wanted. The cake was utter perfection, I asked for it to remain gender neutral and was quite pleased with the result. We got married at Garden Tuscana which gave us an option of using Lesley's as a vendor for our wedding cake. I'm glad we went with her because our cake was amazing! I wish we had scheduled time to meet with them earlier for a private tasting because things were so close to our wedding I felt like time wasn't on my side. However, even with our wedding right before Thanksgiving, 12/6/2019, it didn't stop Lesley from being available to text and help us finalize some very important details! On the day our cake was delivered, the cake topper fell over and damaged the cake :-( Luckily we caught this before they left! They were able to fix it and make it nice and pretty for our pictures. I wanted a cake for my daughter's first birthday. I was not disappointed. First, please use thier website. Do not go...its a kitchen. Needless to say, I learned this the hard way = ) Second, I sent images and got exactly what I wanted- a two tier honey bee cake. Third, there were no issues with pick-up. I was a little scared because I have never used this place before. Lastly, everyone at the party kept saying how delicious the cake was. I'm so happy I went on Yelp and found Lesley's Creative Cakes. It was so easy to place a custom cake order. They're able to take orders via text and payment through PayPal. The cake turned out so much better than I had imagined. Everyone absolutely loved it and no one wanted to cut it because it was so nice. I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.

Best cake baker in town! Don't waste your money or time on tasteless cakes from other bakers. Lesley is the sweetest lady and always delivers on her promise! This is my FOURTH cake from Lesley in a year! We ordered our wedding cake (grey ombre in yelp photos) and our grooms cake (49ers cake) and then the minion and cigar box cakes. She consulted with me about all of the details, colors, size, price, frosting and flavors, and was spot on... the cakes turned out perfect and she was so accommodating. I asked her to make a cake in 5 days for my dad's 65th and she more than delivered, she even went out to the cigar shop and bought real cigars to add to the design! Not to mention it was the best chocolate cake I have ever had, so moist, rich, and delicious! My dad just loved everything about it! My son loves minions so we wanted her to make a minion cake for his 2nd birthday. I sent her a few photos of my idea and she quoted me on all of the cakes and we chose to settle for a round flat one that was perfect! She checked in with me a week or two prior to the party to confirm everything and she always was so prompt in her responses. The kids loved the funfetti flavor and it again was a big hit with my son! Absolutely and positively AAAAAMAZZZZING!! My husband and I got married in December 2017 and Lesley was a preferred cake vendor through our venue! We are soooooo grateful to have worked with such wonderful and skilled bakers! Lesley and her team keep our guests wanting more, with a lusciously soft, moist, perfectly sweet, airy funfetti and orange creamsicle cake! And the desserts...I mean, our dessert bar CLEARED out because how good her cake balls, mini cupcakes and lemon bars were!! Guests were kindly coming over to us and asking "Is it okay if we grab some more? :p". Working with Lesley was everything and more we could have hoped for! I checked many bakeries in the Gilbert area for my wedding cake. Lesley's is the only bakery where you can actually do a cake tasting. Check their website and you will find dates for a cake tasting event. They will have many flavors made to sample. Everyone else just offered cupcakes to taste what they have to offer. It's not the same. Cupcakes are not as moist. There were so many fantastic flavors at Lesley's, it was hard to decide which two I wanted to go with. I ended up choosing a chocolate cake with mint cookie buttercream filling and another layer that was lemon with lemon buttercream filling. Then the entire cake had a vanilla frosting on the outside. I showed her a picture of what I wanted as far as design. It came out beautiful. I found their price to be very fair. The cake was beautiful and taste to die for! Everyone complimented how good it was. They were also great to work with. I would definately recommend Lesley's Creative Cakes for a wedding, birthday or whatever special event you have. I was able to attend a cake tasting last year before our wedding. I loved the samples and decided to go with cupcakes and an individual cake to cut the day of the wedding. We had the wedding about three hours north of the bakery so they were able to provide containers to transport the cake and cupcakes. The containers even kept them cold so they wouldn't get ruined since the wedding was actually the day after we picked them up. I loved how they worked with me to get exactly what I needed and made sure I didn't over order for the number of guests (which I originally planned on ordering way more than what I actually needed). They were able to help me get exactly what I wanted and I was very happy with how they looked and especially how they tasted. I am now in the process of ordering the cake portion of the cake for our one year anniversary. They are able to make the exact replica so we can celebrate with the tradition of eating the cake, without having to eat a cake that has been in a freezer for a year. read more

Lesley is very talented and she made us a beautiful Alice in Wonderland cake and cookies for our daughter's first birthday party. We communicated via email. I sent her pictures of the cake I'm envisioning and she was very accommodating with all my requests. The cake is complicated and I was afraid she wouldn't be able to do some of the details I wanted, but she delivered and the cake was everything I wanted and more! As far as the taste, I wasn't able to do a tasting before ordering due to schedule conflict but Lesley gave me her recommendations and we chose her most popular flavors: chocolate with salted caramel buttercream and vanilla with fresh strawberries and custard. Our guests ooohed and aaahhed at the cake decor and commented that the cake was very moist. We've been recommending her to our friends and will definitely order from her again for our next big event! My sisters birthday is around thanksgiving so I think she always gets cheated out of a cake cause we have so many pies! I have to tell you, there are SO many things to stress about when it comes to planning a wedding. Cake was something I stressed about. What if people didn't like it? What if it didn't make it to the reception? What if, what if, what if. The ladies over at Lesley's Creative Cakes were AMAZING! The cake was the least stressful part of my wedding planning. I must admit, when I went in for their open house tasting and ordering it was so easy I was actually hesitant. I figured, there is no way that it could be so easy to pick a flavor and a style and give them my date and reception location and just have it show up. There had to be more to it?! Nope. EASY. AND THE CAKE?! SOOOO delicious. Everyone raved about it and it was so beautiful, I didn't want to cut into it. Our wedding cake was created here and it was DELICIOUS!!! We wanted something simple and worked with Leslie and she gave us exactly what we wanted. My husband and I, along with our guests, loved the different flavors cake. We had three tiers: margarita, orange creamsicle, and snickerdoodle. We were able to sample each of these (plus many more) at one of the tastings we attended and they were to die for! Our favorite was the margarita flavoring. It was amazing and moist and I couldn't have asked for more! Lesley was awesome about checking in with me the week of the wedding to confirm everything about the cake. During that call, she also verified the venue and drop off times just to make sure everything went smoothly day of the wedding. We used Lesley for our wedding cake vendor at the Windmill Winery. The cake was very good and she was able to replicate the design we found on pinterest. The only thing I wish was an option and wasn't would be one on one cake tasting. I had always seen that in movies and was excited to sit down with my husband to be and sample all the cake and filling options. But they don't offer this, maybe because they are very busy with all the weddings they do. You have to go to a open house once a month and try what they have available that day. Overall I am happy with Lesley's cakes and our guests also raved about how good the cake was at our wedding! We were able to do a different flavor for each tier which I liked. We also ordered a plate of brownies that were devoured, and it was only a few dollars extra to add on :) read more

Lesley created our cake for our wedding last spring. She was very helpful as I gave her ideas of what I wanted--she helped me narrow it down and finally decide amongst all of my Pinterest questions. She was great at communicating with us--following up and such. The only critique I would give in this area would be professionalism--she texted me to set up appointments rather than calling and the texts seemed short and abrupt. Not a make or break by any means though! The cake turned out beautifully (simple and well executed--I didn't ask for anything extravagant) and tasted great. I was sad I only got a bite at our wedding with everything else we had to do. Thankfully my mom took home a lot of cake and we got to have some the next day. Let me just tell you how AMAZING Lesley is. She is so kinda and patient with us! Although we wanted a simple cake, she knocked it out of the park! We got married June 15, 2017 at the Windmill Winery. We went to her open houses and cake tasting so many times and had fallen in love with every single cake! It was so good and so so hard for us to pick! We ultimately picked a chocolate cake with peanut butter, a white cake with fresh strawberry filling and a coconut cake with a fudge filling and my guest LOVED every single flavor that was served! I have also used Lesley to make a birthday cake for my step dad that was the chocolate peanut butter and he loved that also. My husband and I got married last year and met Lesley at the windmill winery's open house. Our wedding that was supposed to be in March ended up getting pushed forward to January. It was a very stressful time as a bride to make sure everything was in order for our earlier wedding date. Lesley was so accommodating and understanding and even did our consultation over email because I was too busy to go in person. Our cake turned out beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing. We had comments all night from our guests about how good it was and they wanted to know where it was from! Such an amazing experience for such a special day. I was able to get a birthday cake from Lesley's Creative Cakes. They were able to finish it in less than a week! The cake was delicious and well decorated for a very reasonable price. They were great with meeting my expectations of design. I only had to send them a couple different pictures of cake designs that I liked [some of which were very elaborate] and from that they were able to tell me how much it would take to replicate the cakes but more importantly what they could do to simplify the design while meeting my expectation to minimize the costs. Lesley did an outstanding job with our wedding cake. We chose a 3-tier cake that compiled of 3 of our favorite flavors - french vanilla cake with salted caramel buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate custard, and margarita lime cake with custard. YUM! The cake tastes amazing and the presentation was elegant and flawless. We also used Lesley's sister, Christine, to do our wedding flowers and were very impressed. She brought our vision to life and we couldn't have been more pleased with the result. It was so convenient to get our cake and flowers from the same, local vendor and I highly recommend them. Lesley's Creative Cakes made our cake for our wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. It was just how I imagined it would be, not only looks but taste as well. The process of choosing and designing our cake was easy and taste testing was delicious. We opted for 3 different flavors, mint, carrot, and creamsicle (which I am not fan of but absolutely loved as a cake). For our first anniversary cake we will be getting creamsicle flavor!! Additionally, Lesley made a cake for my husbands brother whose birthday was on our wedding day, the German Chocolate cake was also delicious and beautiful. We were very impressed with Lesley's Creative Cakes. When we first tasted the mint cake we knew we wanted it for our wedding. It was a subtle and unique flavor. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Lesley's Creative Cakes was a venue that partnered with our wedding venue. We attended a cake tasting and met with Lesley to go over our flavors and design for the cake. We showed her pictures and she paid close attention to what we liked and helped us design a wonderful cake. She was very organized and quick with communication. I have used Lesley's creative Cakes on numerous occasions with excellent results. From specialty cakes for birthdays, pies for Thanksgiving, cupcakes for a family reunion, to catering a family dinner the service and quality of food was outstanding. I really appreciate the quick turn-around time also. I have had special occasions at my house where I didn't have time to make the sweet treats and was able to order and have delivery within a couple of days, which was a huge stress reducer for me. My husband and I used Lesley's Creative Cakes for our wedding cake and it was amazing!!!! My mom was the one who recommended Lesley. She had purchased her mini cupcakes for a very large party, where she said they were a huge hit! We met with Lesley just a couple days before the wedding and she was so helpful. My husband and I knew we wanted lemon cupcakes, but we were uncertain about also doing a lemon cake. Lesley suggested a lemon cake with a custard with raspberry filling and a lemon buttercream frosting. The cake was so beautiful and absolutely to die for!!!!
