Service was very friendly and the place was clean! I grabbed some gluten free cookies, cinnamon buns, and a vegan carrot cake. I was given instructions on how to eat if not eaten immediately which was helpful. So far I've only had the cookies n cream cookie/cinnamon bun and normally I'm not a fan of gluten free desserts but this one hit the spot.

Nothing is free anymore. Not even the gluten! When Joyce saw this on Instagram, she forced us to go the next day. She has a friend and colleague that is gluten sensitive and since we were heading to a pool party at her place, she found it as a good reason to stop by this place. It's a cozy place. All the items are gluten-free and they have some vegan friendly options as well. While the ladies enjoyed all the treats, I found myself missing the gluten. Texturally it's just not the same. The flavor of good though. I can admit that I'm not the targeted demographic but I can recommend this place to my GF people. Give them a try.

A box of goodies!

According to NYU Langone Health, about one-third of Americans say that due to health concerns, they want to reduce the amount of gluten they consume, or eliminate it altogether. At Sweet Impastries, they are 100% gluten-free with vegan/dairy free options. I had recently brought some gluten-free goodies to a friend's pool party as I knew she was trying to cut gluten out of her diet. As a person who laughs at dairy in the face, even though I'm lactose-intolerant, I gotta admit that there wasn't a single bad bite here. I didn't miss the gluten! The staff here is amazing. I believe the older gentleman might be the owner but he was insanely charismatic and magnetic. I found myself leaning towards him, joking with him, even though the line behind me was growing. He was like this with everybody. Personable service, good eats, and gluten-free! Come here!

I decided to try this new gluten free pastry shop to give it a chance. I tried the mini cookie and mini chocolate cake bite. The mini cookie was extremely dry, and not fresh. It's not what i expected but oh well. I was not able to eat the mini cookie. The cake bite was better-not amazing, but not as dry and went well with tea. I probably won't return but, a good option for folks who need gluten free treats.

There are only a handful of places in the area that specialize in gluten free, so if you have celiac or a gluten allergy, this is a good option. I don't not have either; however, I've tried products from other gluten free businesses because of curiosity. Some have been amazing, and some have been misses. The pistachio rookie from Sweet Impastries falls somewhere in the middle. It's basically a cookie stuffed with a cinnamon roll. This is sounds like a good concept, and I will say that it had a good exterior crust, but the cinnamon roll inside does nothing for the cookie. The cinnamon roll not only tasted dry, but I think this also caused the cookie to eat slightly dry ... think a baked dough that is then wrapped in another dough and baked again. The result will most likely be a dry interior. If they could swap the stuffing for like a cream cheese filling, buttercream like filling, oreo filling, or cake ball like filling, I think this would be better. Just my opinikn. Also I would note that their cinnamon rolls are much much smaller in person, so therefore a quarter of one is extremely small. For $6.95, I'd pass on the rolls.

WOOOWWWW!!! Amazing bakery with delicious vegan options and every single item gluten-free. I've been to Spain and this is as fresh as I remember eating over seas. It will crumble and soften perfectly. Well done and will be back! Everyone there was super kind, knowledgeable, and the place had a very open layout. The mini cakes are expensive for about $12 but beyond amazing. The vegan gluten free raspberry chocolate especially with the tart jelly on top and at the middle was divine. 5,000 stars. Make the drive!

This bakery is a hidden gem. Maybe not so hidden because they sell out fast. The brownies are so good and fudgie. I don't have any dietary restrictions to require gluten free these items do not taste any different then regular baked items. They are phenomenal. Service is so kind and helpful. Such a cute bakery smells so good the moment you walk in. Can't wait to try the cinnamon rolls.

Sweet Impastries opened just a couple of days ago, last Saturday, so I was super excited to come try it! Make sure you follow their instagram for updates as they have sold out early each day! I came during my lunch break and there was a line, but the line moved quickly and there was a large abundance of baked goods. I got a carrot cake cupcake (vegan), a pistachio cinnamon roll stuffed cookie, an Oreo cookie, and a salted caramel brownie. I can't believe everything is gluten free!!! All the treats are absolutely delicious and I love knowing that everything is celiac safe. The employees were all really nice and sweet. Highly recommend- even if you have to wait in line!

Caramel Pecan Rookie

Sat 10:00a and the place was very busy with a line almost out the door, but it moved quickly. We got several items: tomato pesto focaccia, caramel pecan rookie, classic cinnamon role, and mixed berries cheesecake. All were very tasty and I'll definitely be back for more treats in the future. The flavors were great, if maybe a little muted. I'd say it was all on par with or better than some of the more expensive stuff I've gotten from Whole Foods and Sprouts. We GF folks know not all GF stuff is created equal, but this place is making tasty treats that are definitely in the upper tiers. If you're GF you really need to pay this place a visit. If you're not GF I would still check it out if you're in the area, but wouldn't make a pilgrimage.

Soft-opening today, what amazing treats, esp for our gluten-free friends! The owners and staff are so kind and nice! The wife is celiac so when they went to Spain, the found a g/f bakery...they loved it so much that they asked the owners to partner and now all their tried & true recipes are here in ARIZONA! Isn't that a sweet story! Follow them on TikTok, FB and IG for their grand opening in early August!

Being gluten free, the hardest thing for me is not having my cinnamon rolls on holidays. My best friend brought over cinnamon rolls for thanksgiving and I almost cried. The taste was amazing, the texture was amazing, super moist. I even ate one the next morning and warmed it up, still AMAZING!

I don't have a gluten allergy, and I understand the flavoring troubles for gluten free stuff. My aunt is probably the best gluten free baker I've ever had. The walk-in concept was a little confusing (the layout). I could see some people were not sure where to order or where the line was. They also don't have any labels on the glass to tell you what's what. There is a display at the front window that has the labels facing outside of the store. I'm sorry but no one is going to stand in the heat to look at the display outside of the store. This display case was for the cupcakes, muffins and mini-cakes. Also, nothing was priced. People had to keep asking how much something costs. They also make coffee here, which it shows the types they make but again, no costs for them. My favorite pastry was the cinnamon bun with the apple on top. The apple tasted very fresh and crisp. I ate mine cold and it still tasted really good! My latte was a bit sad, the cup was filled majority ice, and tiny ice cubes, so it was difficult to drink from the mouth opening. I didn't really care for the rest of my order. The cookies had almost no flavor. Not really my kinda place, but I wouldn't mind trying again when they're more situated and organized.

You place your order and then you find your seat. Some of the tables were still dirty but we assumed it was bc of the lunch rush. We ended up clearing a table for ourselves and the workers came rushing by to help. I order the wild salmon salad. My friend ordered the falafel salad. And my other friend ordered the chicken caprese melt. My wild salmon salad: very very good. The cashews were a good touch. The salmon was very well cooked and chewy. It looks like it was more grounded into a patty instead of a nice filet. Good for a lunch salad. If I had it for dinner I think i would have wanted it to be more like a filet My friend loved her falafel salad. She kept mentioning how neat that most anything on the menu could be converted to veggie. And there were many many options for vegans. My other friend inhaled his chicken caprese melt. He loved it. All in all - we would come here again!

They offer a variety of plates, salads, bowls, melts, breakfast, desserts and smoothies. Besides a focus on whole foods and some things that are whole wheat and wild, not sure where they source their ingredients. You can filter their dishes by dairy, gluten, vegetarian and vegan. Regardless, their food was very good. I customized a bowl with tofu, greens and sauce and it was tasty. The melts are also tasty. I enjoyed the cheese bread ball that came with the bowl and wished it came in a pair. Their superfood smoothies are yummy but also pricey. Most of their dishes are between $12 and 18 and portions are adequate. They also sell swag with their branding. The restaurant atmosphere feels a bit a posh/swanky, which isn't my usual go to. But as a result it did feel clean and modern. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have an easy to navigate website to order for a specific time. NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

Parking 5/5 Always a challenge but coming early and doing the circle dance landed us a nice space across from the Liberty Market. Atmosphere 5/5 Such a cool restaurant with allot of history dating back to 1935/1958/2008/2022 which reflects the years of the establishments service and architecture evolutions. Always a great vibe here! Service 10/5 Our experience tonight began with the beautiful and friendly hostess Bailey. She greeted us with a warm smile and asked us what our seating presence was. We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!
