4/11/26 Fisrt visit to this Gluten-free business. Located in a fairly large strip mall where my hair stylist is located, SW corner of Val Vista & Elliot in Gilbert. Parking 5/5 This is a very busy plaza and parking can be challenging but today we arrived ~ 3:15 and spaces were available. Service 5/5 Great employee greeted us and shared information about the business and variety of products offered. Food 5/5 Lots of options and trying them all wasn't in the diet for today. The one that got my attention was their Carmel Pecan Rookie, rich, fudgy chocolate cookie wrapped around cinnamon roll center then topped with a generous pour of Pecan sauce. So so wrong but so so good. Is your sweet-tooth calling, Sweet Impastries my friends-SYOY!

Service was very friendly and the place was clean! I grabbed some gluten free cookies, cinnamon buns, and a vegan carrot cake. I was given instructions on how to eat if not eaten immediately which was helpful. So far I've only had the cookies n cream cookie/cinnamon bun and normally I'm not a fan of gluten free desserts but this one hit the spot.

Walking in to such warm welcomes from fresh and friendly faces is such a wonderful feeling! Sweet Impastries is so neat and clean! Everything I could see on display was so tempting and it smelled so good inside! I didn't know they were here so it was a nice surprise to find them. Although I am not in need of gluten free items we know several people that have issues. I can't wait to share my discovery with my friends! I got a cookie and a brownie and they had a great texture and taste! You can't tell it's gluten free!!! Gluten free choices here won't steer you wrong!

According to NYU Langone Health, about one-third of Americans say that due to health concerns, they want to reduce the amount of gluten they consume, or eliminate it altogether. At Sweet Impastries, they are 100% gluten-free with vegan/dairy free options. I had recently brought some gluten-free goodies to a friend's pool party as I knew she was trying to cut gluten out of her diet. As a person who laughs at dairy in the face, even though I'm lactose-intolerant, I gotta admit that there wasn't a single bad bite here. I didn't miss the gluten! The staff here is amazing. I believe the older gentleman might be the owner but he was insanely charismatic and magnetic. I found myself leaning towards him, joking with him, even though the line behind me was growing. He was like this with everybody. Personable service, good eats, and gluten-free! Come here!

Nothing is free anymore. Not even the gluten! When Joyce saw this on Instagram, she forced us to go the next day. She has a friend and colleague that is gluten sensitive and since we were heading to a pool party at her place, she found it as a good reason to stop by this place. It's a cozy place. All the items are gluten-free and they have some vegan friendly options as well. While the ladies enjoyed all the treats, I found myself missing the gluten. Texturally it's just not the same. The flavor of good though. I can admit that I'm not the targeted demographic but I can recommend this place to my GF people. Give them a try.

I decided to try this new gluten free pastry shop to give it a chance. I tried the mini cookie and mini chocolate cake bite. The mini cookie was extremely dry, and not fresh. It's not what i expected but oh well. I was not able to eat the mini cookie. The cake bite was better-not amazing, but not as dry and went well with tea. I probably won't return but, a good option for folks who need gluten free treats.

There are only a handful of places in the area that specialize in gluten free, so if you have celiac or a gluten allergy, this is a good option. I don't not have either; however, I've tried products from other gluten free businesses because of curiosity. Some have been amazing, and some have been misses. The pistachio rookie from Sweet Impastries falls somewhere in the middle. It's basically a cookie stuffed with a cinnamon roll. This is sounds like a good concept, and I will say that it had a good exterior crust, but the cinnamon roll inside does nothing for the cookie. The cinnamon roll not only tasted dry, but I think this also caused the cookie to eat slightly dry ... think a baked dough that is then wrapped in another dough and baked again. The result will most likely be a dry interior. If they could swap the stuffing for like a cream cheese filling, buttercream like filling, oreo filling, or cake ball like filling, I think this would be better. Just my opinikn. Also I would note that their cinnamon rolls are much much smaller in person, so therefore a quarter of one is extremely small. For $6.95, I'd pass on the rolls.

WOOOWWWW!!! Amazing bakery with delicious vegan options and every single item gluten-free. I've been to Spain and this is as fresh as I remember eating over seas. It will crumble and soften perfectly. Well done and will be back! Everyone there was super kind, knowledgeable, and the place had a very open layout. The mini cakes are expensive for about $12 but beyond amazing. The vegan gluten free raspberry chocolate especially with the tart jelly on top and at the middle was divine. 5,000 stars. Make the drive!

This bakery is a hidden gem. Maybe not so hidden because they sell out fast. The brownies are so good and fudgie. I don't have any dietary restrictions to require gluten free these items do not taste any different then regular baked items. They are phenomenal. Service is so kind and helpful. Such a cute bakery smells so good the moment you walk in. Can't wait to try the cinnamon rolls.

Sweet Impastries opened just a couple of days ago, last Saturday, so I was super excited to come try it! Make sure you follow their instagram for updates as they have sold out early each day! I came during my lunch break and there was a line, but the line moved quickly and there was a large abundance of baked goods. I got a carrot cake cupcake (vegan), a pistachio cinnamon roll stuffed cookie, an Oreo cookie, and a salted caramel brownie. I can't believe everything is gluten free!!! All the treats are absolutely delicious and I love knowing that everything is celiac safe. The employees were all really nice and sweet. Highly recommend- even if you have to wait in line!

Sat 10:00a and the place was very busy with a line almost out the door, but it moved quickly. We got several items: tomato pesto focaccia, caramel pecan rookie, classic cinnamon role, and mixed berries cheesecake. All were very tasty and I'll definitely be back for more treats in the future. The flavors were great, if maybe a little muted. I'd say it was all on par with or better than some of the more expensive stuff I've gotten from Whole Foods and Sprouts. We GF folks know not all GF stuff is created equal, but this place is making tasty treats that are definitely in the upper tiers. If you're GF you really need to pay this place a visit. If you're not GF I would still check it out if you're in the area, but wouldn't make a pilgrimage.

Soft-opening today, what amazing treats, esp for our gluten-free friends! The owners and staff are so kind and nice! The wife is celiac so when they went to Spain, the found a g/f bakery...they loved it so much that they asked the owners to partner and now all their tried & true recipes are here in ARIZONA! Isn't that a sweet story! Follow them on TikTok, FB and IG for their grand opening in early August!

Being gluten free, the hardest thing for me is not having my cinnamon rolls on holidays. My best friend brought over cinnamon rolls for thanksgiving and I almost cried. The taste was amazing, the texture was amazing, super moist. I even ate one the next morning and warmed it up, still AMAZING!

Id probably expect closer to 5-6 oz of chicken in a protein-based entrée, not what looks like a few chopped pieces scattered on top. The chicken tenders help salvage the meal from a protein standpoint, but that's not really the point. You shouldn't have to order an extra side just to make the entrée feel complete. The price breakdown is what really stings: * Coconut Curry Bowl * Chicken tenders * Protein smoothie * Tax/tip Total: $43 When I look at the actual food in the picture, it doesn't visually read as a $43 meal. It looks more like a $20-25 meal in terms of portion size. What's interesting is that the dine-in portions seem much larger. I love Aubergine Kitchen and eat there often because it's one of the few places that fits my gluten-free and dairy-free diet. However, I was disappointed with my takeout order tonight.

There is season appropriate seating curbside in front on Main Street. Today we enjoyed our takeout dessert in front it was such a neat overcast day. On the inside there are item for sale on small wall shelves in the dining room and freezer refrigerators giving it a small town vibe. There are approximately 6-8 tables for eat in service. As the summer temperatures arrive these tables will become even more in demand. This is a quaint Gluten Free eatery with a nice selection offered in menu. Service 5/5 This is a take menu to table, decided then return to counter to order. Orders are delivered to your table. Helping us today was Paula. She was the ambassador to the restaurant who welcomed us immediately. She asked if we've been in before and once we responded no, she thoughtfully walked us through everything including the Gluten Free information. Food 5/5 Both of us were hungry for breakfast and we were ready for this new experience. Coffee was severed in large and individually unique cups. Coffee was nice. 4-Eats we ordered for inside service; a powdered sugar Waffle and I ordered their biscuits and sausage gravy. Sides were two eggs over easy and two sausage patties for additional protein. Desert were two oatmeal cookie pies the we enjoyed curbside in front. Our breakfast choices were fantastic. For mine I ordered too much because the sausage in the gravy would have been sufficient due to their generous serving size. I will order the same thing less the two Patties. Desert 5/5 Our picks were delicious and will require another extra 30 minutes in the gym! $67.90 includes generous tip for excellent service! NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

He then said we were in for a treat! I told him that's what we've been hearing. After looking over the menu, the wife and I ordered a Street Car Donor and Berliner wrap, baklava dessert, and soda. There was only one other couple in the restaurant . I noticed to go orders and DoorDash orders were being picked up while we were waiting for our orders. By the time we left, there was a line. It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back? I suggest they weigh out the meat each and every time to keep it consistent. It was not the experience we were expecting! Did anyone experience something similar?

When you enter the Gilbert Gateway Towne Center, you have to maneuver through tricky shared parking to find a space. We dined half past 6pm on Memorial Day, so thankfully parking was easier as I believe some businesses were closed for the holiday. Though parking is tight, there is no shortage of seating in this establishment. Some bench-style seating as well as chairs to accommodate whichever you prefer. What We Ordered: ~ The Great Greek Gyro (no onions) x2: My boyfriend remarked that the gyro meat tastes like it was reheated, which I also noticed it slightly tougher than a more authentic one I've had previously. Still a very solid gyro given this is a chain and fast service place with a generous portion. ~ Sides with our meals: French fries and lemon potatoes Personally, the lemon potatoes are a pass next time as very buttery and heavy. The French fries however, were fantastic! They appear to be twice fried to have an extra crunchiness. Overall, if I'm in the area and in the mood for Mediterranean, then I'd pop in to The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. P.s. Don't forget to add your number for rewards via Toast!
