Long story, but worth the read--buyer beware. My experience with this dealership started off great...until the moment the sale was completed. Once I drove the Tesla off the lot, everything changed. Calls went unanswered, messages ignored, and any sense of customer service disappeared. I purchased an extended warranty and was clearly told it could be canceled within the first month for a full refund. When I tried to cancel, my salesperson said it wasn't his department and promised someone would contact me. No one ever did. I spent weeks chasing responses--calling, leaving messages, and getting passed between employees. When I finally reached someone in finance, I was told they needed the mileage and that the refund process could take up to 8 weeks. I provided everything immediately and waited. Eight weeks passed. No refund. From there, it became a pattern of avoidance. Calls were dodged, messages ignored, and I was repeatedly given new contacts who promised to "take care of it" but never followed through. I even asked to speak with the owner and was refused. After months of this, I was forced to resolve the issue myself through my loan company. It took nearly five months to finally get my refund--without a single follow-up, apology, or acknowledgment from the dealership. Because of this delay, I ended up paying around $400 in unnecessary interest on a $3,500 warranty that should have been canceled immediately. *** ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD WITH A DEALERSHIP - A WHOLE WEEK WASTED FROM 180 MILES AWAY *** * THEY WILL REFUSE TO GET YOU FINANCED IF YOU DONT AGREE TO ADD-ONs (GAP, EXT WARRANTY, ETC) * They claim they can deliver your vehicle, but what they mean is they'll drive your car to you and rack up the miles on it. So depending on where you are, you'll get a vehicle with a couple hundred miles. They don't want to deliver, so they push you throughout the process to get yourself out there. Nowadays most dealerships sell nationwide and have a solid process for getting cars to their customers without racking up the odometer. * Doesn't matter what car you want, they probably won't sell it to you anyway, they'll push something that's fine with them. To get a bank approval, they will work a deal with any vehicle they can push to secure financing. I wanted a NEW white Mirage LE - they put the first deal together with what was presumably their service loaner car, a 2024 Mirage LE with about 1,800 miles on it. I told them which one I wanted from the get-go and they completely blew me off and pushed a deal for an approval with the complete opposite of what I was looking for. * SOME OF THE POOREST COMMUNICATION IVE EVER HAD. Once they FINALLY set up the deal you want with the vehicle you want (in my case on around the 3rd attempt), they'll take forever to "get an answer from the bank" and go dark for days on end. The whole time you don't know what the heck is going on, which completely disrupts your shopping process. I waited for days because these guys kept dangling the carrot in front of me, pretending they were going to be able to get the deal done. In that time I missed out on several other Mirage vehicles at other dealerships because I took these guys at their word. Literal waste of a week waiting on pins and needles, wondering if they would get things done like they said. * The salesman, Dylan, started off as such a nice guy. We even shared some personal experiences in our talks, only to turn out to be a complete disappointment!!! It's that typical M.O. of them being nice and communicative, as long as they think it's going to be an easy deal they can push. Once some obstacles or differences with the lender and/or customer pop up, they slowly start pulling away until they finally just leave you in the dark with ZERO communication on the final outcome, and no closure. I wouldn't have even been angry if they told me they couldn't make the deal work. In fact I would have thanked them for not wasting my time as that would then free me to explore other options. BUT that didn't happen, and in the end I had to move on to another option. * THEYRE A VOLUME DEALER, as they said to me several times. So the advertised prices are great, but you're going to pay for that by being forced to buy add-ons, sacrificing customer service and honesty. WHEN ITS ABOUT VOLUME SALES, EVERY CUSTOMER IS JUST ANOTHER NUMBER ON A SPREADSHEET - AND THEY CERTAINLY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE IT. * On the second attempt, we had a deal verbally in place around Tuesday 8/12. I told them that I would be making arrangements to be there Thursday or Friday to pick up the vehicle and finalize the deal. The next day, Dylan reaches out and says they ended up selling the vehicle to someone else that morning. I was disappointed and let them know. A couple hours later I got a call from one of their sales managers, apologizing for the misunderstandings, and stating he would work on the deal himself to get everything set on another vehicle. I don't know if he did or not as he pawned me back off to Dylan and the lack of good communication continued. Later that week, the same thing happened again and they sold the other vehicle that took the place of the one I originally wanted. NOW REMEMBER YOURE IN THE DARK THE WHOLE TIME SO YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES. This other failure was AFTER I had already made arrangements to get a ride out there to Kennewick from Portland. * On the morning of 8/14 is when I FINALLY got a call from Dylan where he told me that they weren't going to be able to help me finance the car with any of the banks they tried. I asked about other options and Dylan was pretty nonchalant about it, like when someone you're dating just loses interest and is trying to ghost you in the nicest way possible! I took the phone call while I was on the way to Gladstone Mitsubishi, here locally in the Portland Metro area. Within less than 2 hours at Gladstone, I was walking out with keys in hand for a brand new Mirage LE, at a better payment, interest rate and down payment amount than what Leskovar "TRIED" to do. If customer service, honesty and your time is important to you - DONT BOTHER WITH LESKOVAR. I've visited Leskovar Mitsubishi three times in the past few days, test driving three different vehicles -- and every single one had obvious mechanical issues that made them questionable to sell. Despite that, the salespeople kept pushing me to "just buy it anyway and we'll fix it later." I was upfront about the exact monthly payment I was comfortable with, yet they kept trying to pressure me into deals that were nearly $200 more per month than what I said I could afford. To make matters worse, they offered me a pathetic lowball trade-in value for a car I had purchased from them less than six months ago -- a car I've since spent over $3,000 on to fix the horrible paint job their own detailers botched in the first place. I have had more positive experiences with this automobile dealership in the past. In fact, I purchased a used Nissan Leaf 7 years ago and was quite pleased with both the car and the dealership. However, I have gotten extremely mixed messages this past year or so. I was just told today that the car I was interested in, that was listed for sale by them on craigslist is not actually for sale, but in reality headed to the auction. Stay away from this dealership. I purchased a Santa Fe Sport in January of 2022. 6 months later I had a engine failure. After being broke down on the highway in triple digits I had it towed to the Hyundai dealership. Upon looking up the vin # I discovered their was safety recall on the engine. I reached out to Leskovar, who sold me the vehicle by writing a official letter to which it was completely ignored. Not one bit of concern that they sold me a vehicle that had a safety recall. I personally spoke with the Sales Manager Erik Valdez, remember that name. Stating, not their problem. I asked Leskovar to cover the cost of the suggested cleaning, which came to 700.00. tl;dr: They are overpriced, don't use "preferred lenders", and Jason needs to work on his people skills. Up to this point, everything was dandy -- I went go pick up my child while my wife finalized our purchase. Shortly after, our bank came back saying that the price of the car was too high and that they wouldn't finance it. We already knew this from quick Kelley Blue Book search. Our salesperson was quite upset. He tried to get us to use one his "preferred lenders", lenders that would be okay with us purchasing an overpriced car, but between our bank saying no, and KBB saying no, we decided it best to cancel our purchase. Jason was so infuriated by this and became so pushy that my wife decided to text me and ask for a pick up. By the time I got there, he was yelling at her on the curb in front of the Leskovar lot saying that she "wasted so much of his time", "his day was ruined" and that "sales work differently here". When I arrived and witnessed the situation, I asked him to calm down, he decided it would be a good idea to tell us why what we are doing is stupid, in a clearly agitated and firm voice. I needed an oil change, wiper blades, and a new car battery. I was going to be charged $731, without ever receiving a quote. They charged me $64 to replace the $4 battery in my keyfob. Not a new keyfob, just the 2032 battery. I was charged $180 to scan codes, which is a service that is free at every auto parts store. I was charged $267 for parts and labor for the new battery, which is fine, but was also charged an additional $132 for them to verify my battery was dead, which it clearly was. Do not get your vehicle serviced here, ever. I have never in my life gotten charged so outrageously for a vehicle service and battery change in my entire life. They dropped my price to $600 after I confronted them about it, but I cannot in good conscience ever go back to a service center that charges people this way. I have been bringing my car to Leskovar for years with no issues, and maybe they are falling on hard times with COVID but if you're going to charge me $64 to put a little 2032 battery in my car remote (this service was not removed from my ticket on the price reduction). I'm not coming back, unless they make this right. I have never been so taken advantage of from a dealer ever. What an embarrassment to the industry. read more

I also appreciate the way Leskovar prices their vehicles. It's common to go to a car dealership and see the MSRP price and then another sticker with "additional dealer mark-up." Leskovar doesn't do this. In fact, our vehicle was priced several thousand dollars below the listed MSRP on the vehicle. Of course, this makes it necessary for the dealership to be more realistic with the trade-in value, but it seems a more honest way of doing business. Very disappointed in the customer service and the lack of salesmanship from this dealership. I was there today for over 3 hours and test drove a vehicle. I noticed a few issues with the vehicle and asked if I could negotiate a more reasonable price. I was told right away that the price on the vehicle wasn't negotiable. That was a huge red flag for me however I was actually there for a different vehicle that was in the shop being fixed for a check engine light. While waiting for the 3 hours all the sales people were sitting around chatting up a storm talking about the low sales of the previous week. Mind you I'm sitting in the lobby with a pre-approval letter for a loan from my bank and cash for a decent size down payment. Needless to say that I left to check out another dealership. I contacted the dealership via email, and promptly received a response from Rick. All the questions I had asked, he was very quick to answer and didn't skim on any details. When I asked for a printable itemized list of charges (cost of the car, licensing fees, sales tax, and dealership fees) he was quick to send the information along and to make sure I had everything I needed. The experience was phenomenal. I honestly can't say enough good things about Rick, and my experience with the dealership. He was forthcoming with everything even when the car had been accidentally backed into a pole on the lot. He contacted me about it, and let me know what had happened since it would take a few days to be fully repaired. Rick even took pictures of it after it had been fixed, and sent those along so I could see what had been done. When I had a pre-purchase inspection done (which I encourage everyone to do if buying a used car regardless of the dealership), he asked the mechanic if there was anything that needed work, and when he learned there was, he immediately contacted Toyota to try to get it sorted out as the car was still under warranty. We worked it all out, and I was able to finally buy, and pick up the car a few days ago. I live across state which just amplifies the experience all the more. Rick was very pleasant to work with, and so helpful. I honestly couldn't have hoped for better, and I will definitely be recommending Rick and this dealership to anyone who's looking for a good, reliable used car. I bought a car from Leskovar on Clearwater in Kennewick five years ago. They have done an outstanding job of servicing my vehicle and only doing necessary repairs. I never have felt pressured by the sales people at any time. At the time I bought my car I was traveling on foot, and bought the car during my lunch break if you can imagine....I simply asked, what's the very best car you have for around $7,000 and the salesman immediately showed me the cutest low mileage car! I test drove it and bought it the next day for a very fair price. I've been extremely happy with the car ever since and delighted with Leskovar's service team. I hope I can find my next used car from them because I trust they will deal fairly with me. They are also convenient to get to in Kennewick. In December, after an horrible experience at another Kennewick dealership, I went to Leskovar with a great deal of skepticism and distrust in the car buying process. My companion and I were greeted by Terry, a sales person with much patience and a great listening ear. Terry took the time to listen and pay attention to what I was looking for in a car (price range, model year, mileage, and just general preferences). He made suggestions and listened to my opinions as he showed us a wide variety of cars fitting my criteria. I eventually narrowed it down to two cars. I felt no pressure from Terry to speed up the process or hurry into a decision. It was an amazing experience! Once I had made my selection, we started working on the paperwork. During this time, my cellphone battery was dying. One of the sales people let me borrow his charger so I could continue with my business dealings. Terry had such great customer service. He contacted me a couple times in the days after I made my purchase to make sure i was still a happy customer. When my new plates came in, he even put them on for me. From my first step onto the lot all the way through to signing on the dotted line, the team at Leskovar gave great, no pressure service and had nothing but the desire to make the customer happy. My grandmother bought a car from them sight unseen due to bad situation, when we arrived they had the car idling because it had a "dead battery" she had bought it two days beforehand so they should have had plenty of time to charge it before then. Upon further inspection of the car it was filthy and literally had old dried up pancakes in the back! I know it was a cheap used car but I expected better than that. We were treated like trash by the employees namely "Rick", the whole time they avoided our questions and acted to be above us. Was super interested in buying a 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer that was fully loaded. We pulled up and had the two salesmen look at us and turn around to discuss who gets to deal with us. Next we walked around with him as he awkwardly just watching us and not knowing anything about the cars. Instead of trying to sell us on the Mitsubishi (would have been easy) he had a no care attitude. Next he asks us to bring the trade in before test driving it to prove were serious clients and not just kids going for a joy ride. You shouldn't treat potential customers as if they are your children. Oh to top it all off, the first salesman spat his chew right in front of the driver's side door so I got to step in it. Wonderful. I will not be back, the next closest is spokane and I would rather make the drive there.
