I communicated with Ken primarily online as I live in Vancouver, WA, and he was prompt in his responses, provided whatever information I requested, and when I decided to make the drive up to view/drive the truck, I found that everything was exactly as he represented. We drove the truck, decided it was what we wanted and asked Ken to prepare the paperwork while we had lunch nearby. Any hesitation I felt about wasting a long drive (as I had on two prior occasions to other dealers) were quickly dismissed. I recently was in the market to buy a good used low mileage car. While driving by John's Auto Mart I saw several cars that caught my eye. I pulled into the lot, parked my vehicle and wandered over to look at them more closely. Ken (the owner) came out and we spoke casually; I was very impressed by the vehicles and his helpfulness. I was in the market for a very specific used vehicle and had considered an out of state purchase for the right vehicle and price. Imagine my excitement when I found what seemed to be the perfect vehicle at John's Auto Mart...lo and behold, just a few hours east of Seattle. The car was in beautiful condition given its age and mileage. It was obviously hand selected for sale given its excellent Carfax/maintenance history and condition. I also hired a third party mechanic who found only minor issues with the car. Steve was very diligent and cooperative in answering questions and sending the specific photos I requested. He was very polite and pleasant to deal with. I also felt as though I received a very fair price for the car. Once I arrived, he was kind enough to pick me up at the airport. The offices were pleasant and the area beautiful, just near the gorgeous Columbia River in the Tri-Cities. The dealership is over 50 years old and I was touched to see photos of the original business belonging to Ken's father on the wall. I've gathered this is a company that very much prides itself upon high standards, as well as community investment. Upon my return, the hubby was also impressed with the car. Overall I am thrilled with my car and my experience at John's Auto Mart.
