We went truck shopping last month - not necessarily looking to purchase that day - but open to it if we found the right rig. When we pulled up to Corwin, we were greeted by Angel. He came across as 100% legit, not pushy at all - completely welcoming and eager to answer our questions. I had my eye on a Maverick - and he was super knowledgeable about all the features and differences between models. Made us feel super comfortable was easy going the entire time. After a test drive, and Angel showing us all the features - we were sold! The whole experience was great. Angel is going to be a Super Star!! Thank you Corwin!!

The worst car-buying experience of my life…read more I purchased a used Tesla from Corwin Ford in October 2025 and drove eight hours from Southern Oregon to pick it up. I've bought many vehicles over the years, and this was by far the most disorganized and frustrating experience I've ever had. To be fair, Omar and Stephen were outstanding. Omar was professional, responsive, and never pushy. Stephen was knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely tried to fix problems as they came up. They are the only reason this review isn't one star. Everything else -- especially management -- was a mess. From the start, almost every decision required a manager, and each one contradicted the last. I dealt with four different managers, and the lack of communication between them made the process chaotic and unnecessarily frustrating. Jered pressured me with typical "we have a lot of interest" lines, rushed my deposit, and insisted it was non-refundable even though the vehicle clearly needed attention. When I asked for a refundable deposit, they actually told me to write the contract myself. After I drafted a legitimate agreement, they rejected it and allowed only a handwritten amendment. He also never followed through on multiple things he said he'd do, including trying to beat my financing rate. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, it still had makeup on the seats, pen marks, damaged trim, poor detailing, and multiple recalls that hadn't been addressed. The car hadn't even been properly charged because employees kept unplugging it. Then came Fabian, and he was the breaking point of the entire experience. His demeanor was openly hostile, dismissive, and confrontational from the moment he walked in. No introduction, no professionalism, no basic courtesy. He demanded additional personal information without explanation, performed a "Ford survey" that immediately led to spam calls, and insisted he needed to run my credit again--despite already having 80% of the vehicle funded and multiple confirmations of my wire transfer. His explanation made no sense, and the entire interaction felt manipulative, as if he was pushing a loan purely for the commission. Even other employees hinted he was "having a really bad day," which doesn't excuse the behavior. Paperwork errors added hours to the process, including discovering my deposit was never even processed. The only person who handled the final paperwork professionally was Yaritiz, who was kind and helpful despite cleaning up mistakes made before the documents reached her. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop after leaving. The dealership failed to remove the previous owner from the Tesla system, which left me stranded at a charging station in Boardman because I couldn't access charging. They also left the previous owner's personal and financial information visible on the vehicle. Only after contacting Tesla directly and paying a prior balance was the vehicle unlocked for use. Stephen later reimbursed me for the hotel, and eventually (after repeated follow-ups) I received the missing wheel cap. But no one else responded. In the end, Corwin Ford's management team turned what should have been a simple purchase into a multi-day ordeal filled with pressure tactics, misinformation, errors, and unprofessional behavior. I left with zero confidence that my personal information was handled securely or that this dealership operates with any real oversight. Omar and Stephen deserve recognition for their professionalism. The rest of the process -- especially management -- needs serious reform.

He then let us test drive it. And we ultimately purchased it. My only complaint was that the process to purchase it took 5 hours once we had selected the vehicle. We were paying cash for the car and attempted to negotiate the price. Jorden's manager was involved and was beyond rude, super defensive AND clearly did not understand the art of negotiation. I think the manager should consider working at Chuck E. Cheese. As far as, the overall management of the dealership...It leaves much to be desired... the fact that they have plenty of sales agents, plenty of customers, but not the ability to process purchases in a timely manner is unfortunate to the point I won't purchase another car from McCurley. However, if you are reading this review and you need a good salesman...Jorden is your guy!!! Just take a good book to read to help pass the time during the purchasing process. And if you end up having to negotiate with the "should be" manager of Chuck E. Cheese...tell him Trisha says, hi and maybe turn on the heat inside the dealership - it's winter time!

Extreme difficulty getting warranty service, they denied some things and blew me off on addressing others (but they have no problem recommending a new cabin air filter with a 24mo service interval for an 8k mile 6 month old car). Went to a different dealer and they handled them no problem.

We pulled over and checked the tires and saw nothing but the light remained on. We googled the nearest Mazda dealership which was McCurley Integrity Mazda in Pasco. We pulled in at around 5:30 PM expecting bad news. The service manager, Stan, was fantastic. He immediately asked for my key, he put the car up on the rack for inspection and he checked all tires for any visible issue. He then set all tires at the same tire pressure and showed me how to do so. This is not our local dealership and there was nothing in it for the service rep yet Stan was friendly, helpful and he got us back on the road in about 15 minutes feeling very relieved. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

At the time of signing, everything…read morewas perfect and we were assured that the vehicle had even been given a McCurley Certified 360 inspection. A week later, the car started having shifting issues. It was struggling to go into 2nd and 3rd gears and was making a sound under the hood. We brought it back and explained the issues. They told us McCurley Mazda did the initial inspections and to bring it there, so we did. We ended up having to leave it there because no one could tell us what was wrong. We didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, so we called and they said they still didn't know anything, but thought it was the timing chain. We didn't hear anything again for another week, so we called and were told no one there knew what was going on and they were taking it to McCurley Ford. It stayed another 2 weeks there with no updates, except to randomly call us one day to let us know the guy working on it would be absent that day. About a week later, they called and said it was done. They replaced the timing chain. We picked it up, brought it home, and it was good for another week. Now it is doing the SAME thing again that we initially brought it in for -- jerking, struggling to go into 2nd and 3rd gears, and there is a ticking sound under the hood. On top of that, the driver's side door is struggling to open and close. They kept the car through the entire warranty period, but since this is the same issue we originally brought it in for, we should not have any financial obligations for repairs. I submitted a contact form and after not hearing anything back for a week, I called. I was assured it would be escalated and someone would call me back. Here we are another week later and we still have not heard from anyone. To say we are livid is an understatement. We paid almost $14,000 for a car that has given us nothing but problems, with symptoms pointing directly to transmission issues. I believe our car was purposely kept through the warranty period and that they knew it was a transmission issue. As I said before, we should not be obligated to take on the financial burden of repairing this car since we initially brought it in during the warranty period and the same problem is still persisting. Honestly, I almost want my $3,000 down payment back so I can go elsewhere. I wanted to give these dealerships the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to rectify the situation before writing a negative review, but it seems our problem does not matter. My suggestion is to go elsewhere if you are in the market for a vehicle.
