Unimpressed with my experience purchasing a vehicle here. When I purchased the vehicle, I was told by Francis that a complete inspection was done on the vehicle, however, when I asked to see this report, Francis claimed it didn't exist. Come to find out, the headlights weren't operational, and upon purchasing and replacing the headlights and fuses, we then discovered the entire relay needed replaced, which I also had to purchase and replace, again, 4 days after PURCHASING the car. I called the dealer, as when I asked about the inspection they said, and I quote, "Call us if there is anything wrong with the vehicle, we wouldn't want to put you in a vehicle with problems.", so I did just that. After speaking to a salesman, getting the voicemail for service, they then took down my name and said that a manager would reach out. It's been just under 24 hours, and I haven't heard a peep. Besides the shitty customer service, upon closer inspection of the vehicle after removing what felt like an inch thick layer of grease they used to clean the plastic parts of the vehicle, we discovered that the detailers not only scratched the vehicle in multiple places while polishing, but actually BURNED the paint. Had this not been the exact vehicle I was looking for with the right features and mileage, I would have never trusted this dealer, and looking back, I regret allowing them to earn my business. read more

This is the most unprofessional and most disgusting place I've ever been to. Discriminatory racists dirty just unbelievable is how I would describe this place. Just went in there to ask about details after being told I was approved and getting no more details whatsoever from Joe they get mad at us for being truthful about how unclean their business is. There was dog shit on the floor dog food in their office, files everywhere, on the chairs all over their desk and crumbs of food and water as well. The floor was disgusting dog hair everywhere trash visibly seen in front, a big ol leak stain. It was just nasty omg. Then they call the police on us and tell us that we're gonna be arrested and mind you were mexican that felt extremely racist/discriminatory. This place shouldn't not be running. Not so much in the online experience though. I reached out twice online, and didn't get any response. However at the lot in person was completely different. Note: this is an updated 1 star review. I purchased a 2014 VW Sportwagen via financing and about a quarter of the cars worth in a down payment. My credit is what most banks like to call "very poor," but they gave me a better deal than I was expecting. Rory was very enthusiastic, and made sure to answer all my questions. I showed up around 8:15, and had the keys in my hand around 11. I pointed out a crack, in the windshield, and it was written in my contract that they'd replace the whole thing for me pro bono. There were a couple faults, in the car, that I didn't discover until my ride home but only minor cosmetic. I was told a "thorough inspection had been done on it, but I'm not entirely sure how thorough as the EPC light, and flashing CEL came on that same night. I took it back in, the next morning, and they sent me right next door to their service center and had it looked at. Turned out that just one of the spark plugs was misfiring. They went ahead and changed all of them out for me totally free of charge. Now I'm back to loving the car, and feeling good about my purchase. I would recommend checking them out, but I'd also recommend having your own inspection of the vehicle done before purchasing. read more

1/26/2023, Daughter and wife test drove a vehicle earlier in the day I went with my daughter after work. Car drove nice seemed in good working order. I was concerned about aftermarket parts on the vehicle. Got back from test drive, I was asking questions about the vehicle and other general information. The sales man was called into the building. He came out explaining their are other parties were interested in the car but since we were there first, we had first choice on it. I asked for a moment had my daughter call her mother. Mom is a buy-it type person I am a wait and think person. Mom said buy it, daughter said OK. We let the salesman know, he seats us at his desk and goes to the office. Comes back shaking his head saying he is sorry. The other salesman started the paperwork, and they were selling it to the other party. I guess a moment to discuss is too much to ask. I ask to speak to the GM and am informed he is not there; I request the GM give me a call the next day (this was at 4pm on a Thursday). I get home send an email to the company and receive a call from a manager (not the GM) saying he feels he owes me a call. Hmmm... how about an apology to go with that call. If this is how you potentially want to be treated be my guest have a go with them. read more

Where do I start. Crap, just crap. I was told by the salesman there was no need for a 3rd party vehicle inspection from a mechanic because their shop does a full inspection before putting the vehicle on the lot. Either their shop doesn't have a mechanic or they just suck. After purchasing the Volvo we took it in for some quick maintenance and found: Bad right CV joint Bad right axle Bad rear brakes Rear locks and windows did not work 1 of the four tires was a 55 psi tire where the others were only 40 Loose engine mounts! Leaky oil cooler hose and a pre-ignition condition I blame myself for trusting them and not getting it checked. But you have got to be kidding me cause $4,000 in maintenance later I am not laughing. Don't shop here, don't trust them or their shop inspection. Not worth a single star but it makes you put atleast one. read more

Worst experience ever. Picked out a car and was ready to pay, but walked out due to hidden fees and awful customer service. I have never had so many employees in one place treat me like I owed them something. This place is a dump - do yourself a favor and avoid it like the plague. For instance, salesman and managers smoking right by the front door, selling me a car with a check engine light with "promise to fix" but no "guarantee" and salesman/ final paper work guys with attitudes. Go somewhere that values your business - support people who treat you with respect - and wants to have you as a lifetime customer, not someone in it for a quick sale. Found used car I was interested in on line, called Excalibur Auto Group and talked to Joe Morales. He sent me the car fax and his personal phone number. I went in and drove the car on Jan 2, 2021. I decided to buy it. He gave me a reasonable price. It only had one key that did not have any remote fob for locking and unlocking the car. He told me he had ordered the key and would be here in 3 or 4 days. He gave me 2 keys 1&1/2 weeks later. They were not cut or programed for the car and I was told He (Joe/Joel) didn't say he was going to do that for me. But he didn't tell me it was my responsibility to get them cut and programed AT MY COST! Not happy. I have to go to the car dealer to get the keys cut and programed. Other than this MISCOMMUNICATION the buying process was good and the service department to fix the car worked out well. read more

Just went in for a routine oil change and felt the need to write a review after purchasing my vehicle 6 years ago and using their service center regularly since then. I believe the lady's name was Deborah who just helped me (sorry if name is wrong, as I was hangry when she told me her name). I've been in client service for years and something about her character truly stood out. It was simply a free oil change but she introduced herself by name and was personable! Made conversation and felt so welcoming. You don't experience this kind of warm service often and it was very appreciated and unexpected for something so routine and free. She seems like such a gem! Bought my Nissan about 6 years ago from here. Has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. I've never had any major issues and it's going strong. Could be part luck but regardless I'm pleased with the vehicle. The "oil change for life" has not only saved me $$$$ but has helped keep my car in great shape. I would have spent thousands on servicing by now if I didn't have it. Thanks to Excalibur, I've had a reliable vehicle the past 6 years and although it's now paid off, I continue to save with the oil changes. read more

Kevin told us the car was in excellent shape and we drove over and hour and there are wood screws holding the bumper on, and clear paint was dripping, it was clear that it had been wrecked both front and rear bumper after Kevin ensured us that the car fax was perfect with no prior history of wrecks. Had a horrible experience, joe morales the salesman lied to me about the condition of the car and sold me an absolute lemon. wish it would have been better as he seemed like a nice person. Bought my car there a month ago and after driving for one month and 500 miles. My car is now broke down and will be costing be upwards of $1,000+ to fix. My mechanic was also able to tell me that check engine codes were cleared prior to my purchase date. The dealer and salesman knew there was an issue with the car, hid it and sold it. A real nice POS place & salesman. They will lie straight to your face and tell you nothing is wrong with a car just for a sale. DON'T GO HEAR FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. I really wanted to give this dealership a good review. Working with Austin (I believe that was his name) was really nice. He was super helpful. But the experience started to degrade from there. Walking into the dealership the lobby smelled profusely of cigarette smoke. When I mentioned this to one of the sales staff he just said, "Ya the boss smokes in the garage." I had my kids with me and felt this was extremely unprofessional and terrible for the overall experience. We stayed for about three hours while they "worked on financing". They came out and said they had a deal but I would need to bring proof of income the next day since it was closing time. I came in the next morning and had to speak to a new finance guy since the other had the day off. Jared was completely unprofessional and rude treating me like a waste of his time rather than a customer. He informed me there was no deal and he was going to have to make a lot of calls. Another hour later he called me in his office and made sure I knew how much he had to work to get me a deal. His rudeness was ultimately what made me decide to walk out. Car shopping should be about experience from beginning to end. This was a terrible experience I wish on no one. read more

Taking advantage of a woman there by herself? My girlfriend and I walked in with preapproval from Capital One in her name. She chose this dealership because their name was listed as one of the dealers that took her preapproval. She decided she wanted a particular vehicle. Good thing they had several of them. Each and every one of them had issues that kept me from giving the ok to buy it. Not that she needs my permission to buy, but I'm the one that has to deal with the repairs. She just wanted me to say it was sound. Joe was fine during the test drives and when working a very quick deal. They agreed on a price and payment. We didn't haggle at all. We were prepared to pay the sticker price. Joe went to the finance office and came back with a payment she liked. Said it even included the extended warranty. We didn't ask for, and they didn't offer the extended warranty. They just added it. We declined the warranty. They ran numbers again without the warranty. Payment came back a few dollars lower. Great! She asked that I take the restless kids to McDonald's while they did the paperwork. I should have said no. She didn't notice the numbers on the contract until she went to file the papers at home. When they were presented to her to sign, the page with the numbers was folded over since the signature lines started on the second page. The numbers were never reviewed when they signed papers. The selling price was raised $800 on the contract versus what was written on the deal sheet. That's about the amount of money they lost from not selling the warranty. She also noticed that GAP insurance was put into the contract. That was not offered, nor did we ask for that. That was almost another $1000. It is far cheaper adding GAP to our regular insurance. She has reached out to them for a resolution. Joe stated that the price difference was his fault. He wrote down the Black Friday price, and they were in the process of putting pricing back where it needed to be. This was three weeks after Black Friday. She checked the website. Pricing did go up after she purchased... $500. Regardless, the financing office would have caught the price discrepancy before coming back and telling her they had a deal. They had an agreed upon price, in writing. They should have renegotiated the deal if they couldn't honor the sticker price. The GAP insurance, they told her to go ahead and make the first payment, then make arrangements to cancel that insurance. After reading reviews, it sounds like it may be a chore getting paid for that. They did respond to her for about two and a half days. There has been no communication from them since. It's been a few weeks now. I'm just glad there have been no issues with the car. read more

My coworker bought a car from here last night. They told her the battery needed to be replaced, not to worry, they would fix it. She thinks ok, it must not be a crisis, it can wait until tomorrow. This morning her car would not start. Battery is dead. In a car she purchased not even 12 hours ago. She is now stuck, needs a jump, late for work, etc. She calls them for help, they will NOT come jump her car. She has to bring the car to them. Except oops, it's dead. They said "we warned you about that". This is INCREDIBLE, people. Why would you let a customer drive a car off the lot, when you KNEW it would die on her. You KNEW she would wake up and have a dead car. No. You do not get to say "I told you so" and have that be okay. You should have told her to pick up the car tomorrow after you had a chance to fix the battery. read more

The vehicle I just purchased from Excalibur Auto Group Inc. Just cost almost $1884.00 in repairs. A car their Salesman, Joe Morales, promised went through an extensive maintenance check prior to putting on their lot for sale. A vehicle I got a copy of their maintenance report on prior to purchasing just to be sure what he was telling me was correct, and it showed no issues. Everything checked off as in good condition. I haven't even made the first payment, I'm still driving around with the temporary tags. And my car has been in the shop 3 times already. If anyone is looking for a new/used car DO NOT GO TO EXCALIBUR. I am still waiting on the paperwork showing they kept with their end of the deal and written in my contract. 4 new tires, and oil changes for life. I have yet to receive any paperwork showing they replaced my tires or even did the oil change, even though my car sat in their service shop for 2 days waiting to get these things done. 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for paperwork. read more

My wife was reluctant to shop for a car at Excalibur because of a previous negative experience there, but their ad said they had a Cadillac I was interested in so I drove to their lot anyway. The young salesman that greeted us seemed less than interested in helping us, but of course, as is typical, had to ride along with us on the test drive. The test drive was along a predetermined route that consisted of a right turn out of the lot, another three right hand turns and back into the lot for a total of about 5 minutes and a few miles. That was really far enough anyway since the salesman in the back stunk of stale cigarette smoke so bad we could hardly breath, and was far more interested in his cell phone than talking about the car. I decided I was not interested in the car but of course got the obligatory introduction to the sales manager who was dressed in old blue jeans and a wrinkled tee shirt. He apparently thought I had blindly stumbled into his dealership to buy some car, any car, because when I expressed the reasons I wasn't interested in the Cadillac, he started pushing every other car, truck, and mini van he had on the lot. Obviously I came in to look a a very specific Cadillac, so I'm probably not interested in your Honda Pilot. All in all a very poor experience. read more
