I came here for the first time, read the views and had high hopes. First, they have a sign advertising "Mani and pedi" for 45 outside their location and i was intrigued! The environment is very busy how some of the other reviews describe. Not very relaxing. My pedicure done in the blink of an eye and it was not great or relaxing. I didn't get asked how i wanted my nails shaped or anything. My gel manicure was done great! But when i was about to pay the associate told me it was $51 because i was paying with card. I will never go to another nail salon. I have been coming here for a few years and the service is always exceptional. I have gone to Nini and Lilly and they both do an excellent job. I've gone to a lot of nail salons where it's evident that the nail techs are speaking about you in another language and I've never gotten that vibe here. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. I've never had a nail fall off since I've gotten my nails done here. I wish you didn't have to pay extra to use your card but that is the only one downside of this salon. Brian is always super friendly and willing to fix and issues if you're unhappy with your nails. This is my most recent ombré set from Nini. I paid $55 before tip. Updated review - 11/16 - I went a few times since I posted this review and unfortunately won't be returning. I have used their online scheduling system and 2/3 times I had to wait 30-40 minutes for the person I was seeing to finish up with someone else. What is the point of having a scheduling system if the nail techs are never on time? This is not just with one person either. I also referred my mom to go here. She experienced the same thing. Appointment was scheduled today for 11AM and she was not seen until 11:45AM!!!!! They ask that if you are going to be running late to your appointment, to call ahead. It seems like their time is important to them but their client's time is not important. They seem to over-book tremendously. I was never offered a discount. My mom brought it to Brian's attention and he sat her with someone else other than the person she scheduled the appointment with and offered her 10% off her service.. really? Come on. I feel like with so many people going to this salon now, there service has gone down so much. I will not be returning back. They do great work but unfortunately are majorly slacking on customer service. My advice: Make sure all of your team VALUES their customers. You would like us to value your teams time and not be late, then please treat us the same. Also, not to mention my mom was never offered any drinks or anything when she was waiting or for the duration of her nail appointment. My mom was also very put off by the lack of cleanliness in the salon. Well, I'm a returning customer to this salon. First and foremost I hardly leave well never leave reviews this would be my first and out of many I should have done for other business which I would start now. As a returning customer, I never paid any mind to anyone just always a gel pedi with whoever and always tipped and left, Started going to Tammy for pedi's and love her. However I decided to bring my girls with me this time and they are just stunned at how my 9 yr old is just a little taller than average and bigger because she was off the children's price-list. So there they go talking in there language and looking at my kid. Then as I turn on the massage chair for her the little old man with the glasses turns it off that's painting her toe nails; so Effn RUDE! She looked at me all sad. Like wtf he hurt her feelings more than mine. She's 9 and it's not even about the fact he did it because she was going off the children's list that he just kept staring at over and over like he's never seen it before. All I said out loud was I will never come here again & it's not like they care but still. So when he's done with her he goes to my younger daughter who's 4 and starts and then gives her a massage with lotion and my 9 year old looks & asks me why she didn't get a massage. Now I have to deal with her and her sensitive feelings and make something up or just let her know how he forgot, because now she thinks she is unwanted and unliked. However a lot of people do ask me and ask for recommendation for nail salons because if you know me I always have my feet and nails done. I wouldn't even shame them I would still tell them to go visit Tammy there but don't take your kids there! If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in on 10/29/18 Firstly, I walked in and was asked "Do you want long nails or short nails" I said long and was quickly sat down with Denise. It was not very busy while I was there, a few techs were just sitting around on their phones waiting for business, but Denise seemed dead set on doing my nails at warp speed anyway. I told her I wanted chrome nails and showed her a picture on my phone of what I wanted. She said ok and then brought me a bunch of glittery nails to look at to which I reminded her I wanted chrome, not glitter. She said the next tech over could do it but not her. 30 seconds later she then told me no one there could give me chrome nails and insisted the chrome in the picture was not chrome, but a trick of the light. ok.... matte black it was then. I asked for matte black coffin nails. My natural nail tips were kind of uneven and my cuticles were a mess, but the first thing Denise did was start grinding down my natural nail with a drill (red flag #1)I don't like having my already thin natural nails drilled as prep. She then proceeded to super glue pre-made tips on my dusty fingernails sloppily, my middle finger was VERY crooked, which I pointed out. She looked at it and told me "No, it's ok" It wasn't ok.. Once the tips were on, she then went straight to applying acrylic. "are you going to fix my cuticles?" i asked. "It cost more if you want me to cut them" she replied. I've never heard of someone charging extra to make your cuticles look nice. She then proceeded to try and put the acrylic on to which i pulled my hand away. "I'd like my cuticles cut please". She kind of glared at me as though i were being annoying, she pulled her clippers out and began snipping at them. no soaking, and she didn't clip nicely but would clip onto my cuticle and rip at it which just left them jagged and stretched out looking. She then (still at warp speed) applied the acrylic and polish, sanded the hell out of it, and cut my pinky finger with her drill. As it bled she poured alcohol all over it. She then shooed me to the faucet to rinse off the blood and 2 feet of acrylic dust that had collected on my hands. She applied the matte top coat and set my fingers (my fingers had to be set multiple times under the UV light but she was never very clear about when or how long to keep them in there, just used a lot of shooing wavy hand movements) She then told me that my nails would be $48 but that she would only charge me $45 for cutting me (when they offer a mani AND pedi for $45??) I paid in cash. I then went and sat in my car and feeling super upset. She hadn't applied the polish well, and in proper light, streaks up and down my nail were easy to see on the black, as the light shined through the streaks. The topcoat was not applied evenly which gave my nails a 'lumpy' look, as well as she had completely missed some of the nail with the topcoat so i had spots that were still shiny black. The underside of my nails was COVERED in residual super glue and polish. literally lumps of it that over the next week got caught on everything, ripping up the sides of the nail and warping it to where I would have to file it back down. Since she hadn't cleaned my cuticle properly, the acrylic was placed OVER my cuticle skin which made it lifted and jagged. From day one my nails were getting stuck in my hair from the lifting when I tried to brush or wash it. My nails were also super flat, she didn't create an apex and exactly one week later, I woke up to find my middle nail had broken off in my sleep, on my PILLOW. showing how thin she had made it. The next day, my index finger on the same hand began breaking off at the corner (both fingers broke off where she super glued on the fake plastic tip) You can see on the underside of my nail, the plastic turning white from stress at the glue site. My nails also looked like they had been grown out much longer because of her not handling my cuticles correctly. Overall, When I get my nails done, I want to feel relaxed and like I'm getting pampered. Instead, it felt rushed, it felt like i wasn't being listened to, when i tried to say what I wanted I felt like I was just annoying the technician, and when it was done, I was just upset and felt like I had wasted my money. Will not be going back. I don't like paying to feel stressed out. read more

After this I told him to throw away the buffer which he had cut me with and he wouldn't, they used it on another client but I told her he had just cut me with it and was contaminated which is when they put the buffer back in this gentlemen's station I told him I wouldn't be finishing my nails there to just add a top coat. Since he's been at Le's he expressed to me that he's trying very hard to learn the different styles and designs! Today just so happened *I* was branching out of my comfort zone and I went with an almond shape with black French tips when I would typically for for a solid color square set. Joey was extremely careful and payed so much attention to detail! We had a great conversation and he made me feel comfortable and excited with how the set was going to come out. Typically when I've asked a nail tech in the past to correct something they get mad, and start fixing away In a very rough manner. My review is based on my service yesterday with Tony - He gave me, what I would say, was the PERFECT pedicure! He was thorough and took his time on areas that matter the most to me (cuticles, massage and color) but he certainly didn't lag. He was super friendly but not overly talkative which allowed me to get some much needed R&R :) I had no regrets opting for the the extra 10 minutes massage and my nails turned out flawless. What more could I ask for? I've been here a couple times before and, unfortunately, the customer service and quality of work left something to be desired... But not with Tony so THANK YOU! To touch on the negative reviews about pricing, I will say that transparency is not only SUPER important but, in my opinion, necessary, in order to create a positive customer experience. Since I've been here before, I knew about the discount for paying with cash but a new customer shouldn't have to find out the hard way by being lured in by the advertised prices only to find out they're being charged more because they're paying with credit card. It just leaves a bad taste in customers' mouths and a refusal to return. I'm completely disappointed of Le's O Nails for treating my girlfriend and I unequal than other clients. AMY was rude and told us they couldn't do our nails because we needed an appointment, so she refused to do our nails. We understood so my girlfriend got a pedicure. Three new walk-ins came in and they did their nails without a problem. I don't know what is the issue when we've been coming for couple years and they have never treated us this bad. I used to come to this shop about 5 years ago and recently stopped due to leaving Oxnard. My mom wanted a pedicure for her birthday while I was in town and Le's is right around the corner. My nails were looking terrible so I decided to get a manicure by Denise. I used to love her pedicures so I was excited for my manicure. We were in a hurry when we were both done so I didn't have the time to inspect my nails - the paint job was terrible. I was chipped and the Polish was layered so badly. I also asked her to make each hand even length wise and she left my thumbs and pinky unshaped. Needless to say I had to keep the manicure because of the lack of time I had to come back and allow her to fix it. I was very disappointed in her work. It was a waste of 13 bucks. Ok im writing this review so people are aware of the kind of ownership that goes down here. I am pretty sure they are expecting this and I could care less, Ihave gone here a total of maybe 5 times. Brian has done them 2 out of 5, Kristina 3 out of the 5. Im giving this a 1/5 because Kristina does a really good job BUT THATS IT. Im going to attach my conversations with BRIAN and KRISTINA, she did my nails one time in the beginning and I completely fell in love with them, after that it was almost like a run around trying to get an appointment with her. Every time I would wait 2 to 3 weeks in advance and I honestly felt like it was simply because she was pushing it back so she wouldn't have to do my nails; and it was obvious. So finally, I get an appointment in with her after trying to book for eternity, but a day before my appointment I get a message from her that says, "I'm going to be honest. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do your nails to your expectations" I then asked her what she meant by that, and this was her response "Because you like your nails a certain way and to your liking. I will try my best but I will not spend more than 2 hours on you if you are unhappy with the outcome". Even though she is not saying that I am picky, she is implying that I am a picky person, but honestly what do you expect when this place charges you an arm and a leg for basic gel acrylics with no design no diamonds or anything, just flat out polish. Not once have I gone here and paid less than $60, and they always add 3 to 6 dollars when you pay with card, and nowhere on their menu does it state anything about that, so what I started doing was directly sending money to Brian, and it just happened to be that every time I sent money to him there was always a problem with payment even though there was proof that I paid. I have gotten my nails done plenty of times, but not once has a nail technician ever been as rude as Kristina, in person she is very nice, but over messages she's extremely rude, and personally I find it very rude and unprofessional to speak to a client like this, as a nail technician she has the right to refuse service, but instead she chose to be rude. As it is when I got my nails done I went in feeling extremely uncomfortable And unwelcome because of her comment, as you can see in the messages she let me know that "time is money". So I finally got my nails done and everything went well and like I said I paid $60 not including her tip, and I went home after three hours. I returned a week later to get a polish change on my toes, and I had asked her if she could do a polish change on my hands and she said she could in one hour and I said it was ok. I noticed she was very busy so I went up to her and I let her know that I would just DM her so we could find a better timing, I went to DM her and all she responded was That she wasn't going to be available until next weekend, so after I replied I noticed that she didn't respond to me for some time, and that is when I went onto her profile and I noticed she had BLOCKED me. Like I told Brian in the text, there is a way to say things and do things, and their method of going about it just was not it, I have been nothing but nice to these people for them to be this way with me, at the end of the day I was still giving them my money, and I did refer people to Christina and Brian. I may be picky but I was still nice and I still was respectful. I did begin to notice that Brian became rude The last few times, I almost felt like I was being ignored, when I would go to pay or ask him something I would stand next to him for a while before he actually acknowledged me. Personally this has been the most unprofessional and rude experience, I went to reach out to Brian to let him know the issue, and he took absolutely zero ownership and left me on read, personally I wouldn't come here, nor would I refer them, I don't care how good your work is, but if you're rude you're going to lose clients no matter what. The pictures attached are AFTER I asked the manicurist to paint them closer to the cuticle. That's right- they were worse than this to begin with. A fresh manicure from yesterday shouldn't look like a weeks worth of nail growth. Came here since I was in town expecting a great and at least a decent mani pedi/service and I left with un-buffed, un-smoothened out nails, un-exfoliated cuticles, and a gel mani that literally and I kid you not lasted ONLY 4 DAYS w/o chipping!! I didn't even have to try. AVOID JOHNNY AT ALL COSTS! He vigorously scrubbed my finger after he insisted he was done & I asked if he could finish them off by removing the excess nail polish on my finger skin. He literally tried to argue that it was impossible to remove the excess nail polish (what????? HAHA) & that I was wrong for telling him my usual nail salon does. When I asked to pay for my mani at a discounted price and not the full amount for less than half the service, all nail techs in the room stared at me & shook their heads while simultaneously speaking to their "manager." After this horrendous treatment, one of the nail techs had the nerve to interrupt me and kick me out. If you're used to exceptional customer service and one month lasting gel manis like I am, I highly recommend you avoid this place actually. Came in to Le's O Nail August 1st 2019 for a pedicure and left with TWO infected toe nails. Obviously not sanitary. I don't recommend this place at all. My first pedicure experience was ruined. Luckily went to urgent care and got antibiotics. Who knows what kind of nasty stuff the have on their utensils. I understand sometimes mistakes can be made but I got INFECTIONS on EACH foot. One of the worst nail salons that I have experienced. At first I went this place two times to get pedicures and they didn't do too bad. I came back for a third time to get my nails done.... And let me just say if you're considering this place- DONT. I received a full set with gel nails. within DAYS, They were coming CLEAN off. Not even just a little on the side, COMPLETELY FALLING OFF!! Within days! I went back THREE times to get a nail fixed because one would fall off, I go get it fixed, and then another does days later. so anyway, below there is a picture of a nail that Diana or Denise fixed (I forget her name but it started with D) and it looks horrible. The paint job sucked, and was ALREADY PEELING A DAY LATER! You can tell it's fresh! so today I went in there and told them I would like all of them taken off. Denise told me that she was going to charge me $11 to have them taken off even though she messed them up. so then she says that she will fix the nail she messed up but charge me for the broken one. (She had an attitude from the get go) THEN changed her mind and said she will redo all the nails just with one color. THEN came back and changed her mind AGAIN and said she will only fix the two. so I said no, and that I want them off because she was just going to make them look worse. She agreed and then continuously told me to not come back with an attitude the whole entire time. Lady you'd be LUCKY if I ever even thought about coming back to this horrible place! especially if I'm asking you to take them off versus redoing them! Go back to nail school lady or just stick to toes. Lol Worst customer service. I see why they have so many bad ratings. definitely don't recommend. First time coming here and had the pleasure of getting my nails done by NiNi While busy, there is an array of technicians available. NiNi has probably mastered every nail shape because my coffin nails are the best I've ever seen! The staff is extremely sweet and accommodating. Would absolutely come here again! And you really can't beat the prices. P.s- Accept your nail technician's advice on colors. Thanks NiNi! Also bring cash to tip your nail tech! read more
