So i have come here quite a few times usually to Marissa who does a great job. I have also been to Holly once as a walk in and she did a great job so I do not want this rating to reflect them. I had Brian this past Friday and i got there during a rush so i understood i had to wait for a bit.. no biggie. Brian started my gel manicure and was pleasant. Once we got to the actual application of the polish he was focused on carrying conversations with other people so he literally stopped what he was doing (hand was not even half polished) and would talk to whomever. He sat me at the pedicure area and i was waiting for a bit, analyzed my nails and reliazed they already had indentations from him having me roll up my pants. Also I am unsure if they cleaned it properly as i saw someone there before me and i actually do know state board procedure for disinfection and didn't notice any of that happening. Needless to say, his lack of attention to my nails and his job resulted in some sloppy, thick coated nails that didn't not even sure properly. So i let him know that my nails weren't even dry yet and i was just going to pay and go . He seemed stunned that i didn't want to get a pedi anymore but was tongue tied and then offered 10%off on his half ass nail job. (came out to $25) Big Whoop. He offered a free pedi the next time but i don't ever want him to do my nails again. it wasn't about the money. i can't afford to get my nails done someplace nicer but i just liked that everyone seemed consistent here and always had a nice experience. But in the end I said no thanks and i was on my way. Still a bit shocking to me that the guy who runs the place is lacking so much and by the other reviews i guess i can't be all that surprised! read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I had the worst expereince here today. I went in during my lunch hour to get a gel nail polish and walked out with no polish and on top of that ruined nails!!!!! The woman started by buffering my nails with a nail grinder which left ridges and bumps all over may nails. Then she rapidly applied two uneven coats of gel polish and had me set them to dry. When they were finished there were very large, noticeable bubbles and purple dots on my nails highlighting the areas where the polish had gone on unevenly. She called the other manicurists over to look at my nails and they all reminded her that she should have put the polish on very slowly, which she clearly did not. She really seemed clueless about what she was doing. So after this, the only way to get the gel off was to grind and buffer it off again. At this point I was out of time and just wanted it off so that I could get out of there! (I have gotten gel manicures numerous times at many different salons, so I know the amount of time the process takes and planned it according to my lunch hour.) Finally, she was able to get it all off, but now my nails are ruined! I asked her to put a clear coat on, which she did, but shockingly had the nerve to try to charge me! I refused to pay and walked out of there vowing to never return. In general, I have noticed the quality of work and service at Le's O Nails rapidly decline. This salon used to be the regular place for my best friend, her mom, and myself, but the past few pedi/manis we've had there have been really rushed and done so poorly that the polish has chipped off the same day or the day after. Given that there are so many options in Ventura County for places to get your nails done, it seems to me that Le's O Nails would really work hard to stay competitive. But sadly, they are only getting worse. So I urge you to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!! read more

Someone has posted about the same thing that happened to me when I tried this place out for the first time the other day. I went to get my acrylics removed and also get a gel mani and the lady was in such a hurry just ripping/cutting them off so painfully without even soaking them..I told her multiple times that she was hurting me and she just continued,also tugging at my hands in a rude manner. She then filed the rest down with the machine until she began to burn my nails and left them that way with acrylic still on them. At this point I just wanted to get the hell out of there so I left without even getting the gel mani and with acrylic still left on 4-5 fingers and the rest of my nails being ruined..such a horrible experience.. read more

I am very, very picky when it comes to my nails and I have been to almost every salon in Ventura County. I was just not getting what I wanted so at the suggestion of my daughter-in-law I went to see Brian. To my very nice surprise he gave me what I wanted. I have been so happy with his work and the creativity that the puts into his designs. Sometimes I go in there not knowing what I want and he just seems to come up with great options! I have been a regular here for quite a while and have had my nails done by Holly, Amy, Sebastion, and Johnny. Every single time I have been extremely happy with the results! My nails have not lifted once since going here which I really appreciate. It's really hard when you have a vision of what you want on your nails and to be able to explain it to your nail tech and them be able to recreate that on your nails but this last time Johnny did an amazing job making me happy and recreating what I wanted. I recommend this place undoubtedly and think its worth checking out at least once especially if you live in Ventura county. If your skeptical check out their instagram page I believe its just their name and check out their work thats where I usually get my nails Inspo. They were efficiently and in a timely matter, you won't be there for hours annoyed but I recommend making an appointment just because I don't really like to wait lol. read more

As a first time customer to this place I wasn't pleased. The staff spent the entire time talking to one another in a foreign language which is exceedingly rude. The massage chair I was in didn't work. The manager (Brian) was nice enough I suppose but didn't do a very good job overseeing the quality of his employees work. The lady that did my pedicure (no name tag) was less than thorough. She was rushing and unfocused. She didn't get all of my old polish off before she painted my nails. Once she did paint my nails it looked like a two year old painted them. I politely asked her to start over and she did. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch. However, my Mimosa was flat like it was made with old champagne that had been open for a while. read more

I've been coming here for a few months now... (Come to think of it, it might already be a year) I folllowed my nail tech Marissa (she's just so awesome) from a different nail place. I was a bit worried about going to a new nail shop, but I really shouldn't have been. It's clean, it's bright, and the employees are very friendly :) Aside from just mani/pedi's they do waxing!! So awesome because you can get everything done in one place! They also serve mimosas! Worse place ever!! Wish I could give them zero stars! I called to schedule an appointment and they told me to go in right away. I get there and I tell the guy I had scheduled and appointment and he asked for my name. He then tells me to go pick a color so, I went to pick a color and went back to sit down. I waited and waited and waited for 20 MINUTES! NO ONE EVER TOLD ME WE'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU, ETC. SO, after 20 mins I finally gave up. I went in to get my acrylics off and it was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. Instead of soaking them in acetone, the girl just started cutting and pulling off my nails and it was extremely painful. Also, that technique she used ruined my nails so she had to cut them very short. She was also rushing to be done with me so she could get the next girl. She wasn't wearing a name tag so I didn't get her name. Overall, I was uncomfortable and I'm not satisfied with the service I received. read more

I have gotten many pedicures and full nail sets down here, and I can say its by far my favorite nail salon. They are always available and are very welcoming. Their prices are very reasonable and overall it an amazing place. After moving back from West Covina I didn't know where to even begin to look for a new nail salon. I tried a few before I finally found this place. Lily does my gel manicures & Anh does my pedicures. Lily is a natural she gets the job done makes sure my polish is well done, none of that no polish gaps at the edges. She has me covered. As far as Anh her specialty is pedicures, I love that she scrubs my feet enough. Most places scrub for 5 seconds and that's all, when I walk out of here my feet are nice and soft. If your looking to get acrylics done go see Brian that's all him, except it's better to make an appointment if you want to see a specific person this way you don't run the risk they are busy. Can't review on the other people here as I've never received services from others but the place pretty much busy all the time. The other neat thing is they have free-wifi, and offer the app barkback (it's a punch card type a deal, collect enough and get one free) Also the hospitality is one of a kind they offer you water and even a small amount of wine if you'd like while you relax. Don't get me wrong, I love this place! This salon is thee only salon I will go to, wether it's a full set, or a simple mani pedi. I went it as a walk in, waited about 45 minutes ( which I didn't mind). Finally when it was my turn, I happened to get Sebastian. I said okay let's do this! About 5 minutes in, I asked him in these exact words, "when you get a chance, do you think I can get a mimosa please?" :) He looks to the side (which his station happens to be about 3 feet away from the fridge) and he looks back at me and tells me "sorry, there's nobody there. I'm too lazy, I don't get paid to do that. Maybe if it was somebody else and not just you asking for one. But you're only asking for one yea? So no." I thought to myself, he's got to be f'in kidding me right now. I don't know if he was being sarcastic, which I'm gonna say no he wasn't being sarcastic but I took that to be extremely rude! You don't tell that to a customer, especially when that's something your place of work offers. Every other time I've asked it was never an issue but he really didn't even care to make it. Up until ten min later when he saw someone else make one, he asked them to make it for me. I left disappointed because that it NOT how you treat or speak to a customer. I went to the one on Saviers rd. and it was the worse experience I ever had. Fist of all Tom told me wait for a Nina when she gets there she starts but he's training her so I look at the wall and I see a license with her name WTH. when I left 3 hrs later and Tom having to take over I was bleeding my fingers throbbed and a day later the nails started breakin off. And I told them I should not pay but Tom said I had to. Do not go there something is not right and I will be calling the license board on them read more

I have been coming to Le's O Nails in Oxnard for over 6 years now. They are simply the only nail place that I can count on every single time to give me what I want. Some people might think they are a little pricey but I don't mind given the consistency of their work! The ladies and men are always friendly and it's never too crowded (I've never made an appointment). I usually get a pink and white full set acrylics and spa pedicure. The spa pedicure treatments are well worth it - I got a nice salt scrub and warm towels with lotion and massage. I wouldn't get my nails done anywhere else in Ventura County! read more

I was referred to this location by a friend from work. Her nails looked great, so I decided to give it a try. I got a Pedi & gel manicure and my experience was good which is why I decided to give it an extra star. My mom DID NOT get the same experience. She was paired with SEBASTIAN which was the absolute rudest nail tech. My mom tried striking small talk by asking if he had a family, to what he replied," no and what?" Then he told her not to talk because he didn't like to talk. Her nails did not come out good. She was not at all satisfied. At a moment when you should be relaxed and enjoy yourself, my mom was tense and uneasy. He would slap her hands to gesture her to more. When he applied the nail polish it seemed like he was painting a house using large rough brisk motion. He clearly was upset and had no problem displaying it. Talking to another relative that also has been to this location and had Sebastian she also expressed the exact same behavior. So today was my second time coming to this location and unfortunately I will never be going back. My first experience was awesome, hence my second return. Upon arriving I was told by "Brian" to take a seat and someone will be with me. So I wait about 20 minutes or so and I notice two other people are being helped that got there after me, I asked how much longer (I should have just walked out at that time) and I guess now they decide they would like my business. A gentlemen I cannot remember his name started doing my nails and then has me move to a different seat. He starts doing my nails again and seriously 10 mins later my gel polish looks like a freaking 8 year old did it. I have never complained about how my nails turned out but this one, was just ridiculous. There was bumps, fingerprints, and polish on the side of my finger. I then asked another lady if she can just remove it and I'll just pay for my pedicure. She insists she fixes it, so I patiently wait. I'm already extremely irritated. So I was like you know, if you don't mind just cleaning them up I'll be fine with that. She's like okay come sit over here, so 10 mins later I just had it with this place. I felt really bad for the young gentlemen who did my pedicure because he was so sweet and did a great job. As for the overall service, I think it's ridiculous an employee would let a client walk out of their salon with 8 year old polished fingers. Very disappointed. read more
