Came here yesterday with my family and I have to say was really impressed with this place I got the #71 which is the combo fried rice and the proportion size was really big and I couldn't finish it which was surprising to my family. It had the right set of flavor to it and cooked well. It went nice with the Thai Tea I had which is a great drink and it's not to sweet. For a family of 4 it cost under $80 which is an outstanding price for this as some places would cost about $100+. Nice clean place with good service. It's decent food, not great, but it'll get the job done. Pho was just ok, surrpised the noodles hadn't even been thoroughly warmed up. I love that they have a variety of a lot of different dishes, from gluten-free, to vegetarian, to seafood lovers. LeQuy tries to be a more up-scale vietnamese restaurant, and the food is good, but the tables and chopsticks still have that familiar stickiness you would find at a typical pho restaurant, and prices are slightly higher than average. Boyfriend and I shared a thai iced tea. The size was rather large, so sharing was just perfect. The tea was on the sweet side, but relatively well balanced. We also shared the avocado spring rolls. As good as they were, they felt like they were missing an ingredient, perhaps some pickled veggies to add some crunchy texture. I ordered the combination seafood pho with egg noodles and the boyfriend went with the combination beef. I really liked the seafood pho. The beef pho was pretty standard. The food isn't terrible, or maybe I just happened to come in on a bad day. I ordered the filet mignon rice plate while my friend ordered the sea bass fried rice. The filet mignon wasn't as tender as I'd hope and the sauce was too salty for my taste. The fried rice tasted a bit better, but it isn't too hard to make. There's a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the Bay Area, so I am a bit more picky. The pros are that this has no msg and free wifi. The decor is a bit nicer than most Vietnamese restaurants. Le Quy is kinda divey, kinda not, kinda caters towards your crowd of folks who want ethnic but not too ethnic if you know what I'm saying. No wonder the pho is fresh here! There's no MSG and all their ingredients are FRESH. I've been here 3 times since my first yelp review and I have fallen in love with more of their menu items! Vietnamese iced coffee - Seriously...I ordered two. One to enjoy, and another to go. The bomb! I requested some extra sweetened condensed milk and they supplied it right away, it was so good that I finished it up like candy...seems like their special ingredient for this coffee is what they put in their condensed milk! Chicken broth pho with lean breast meat - I always order the seafood pho, which honestly is the best thing ever but I decided to try chicken for the first time...I am in love, again. The broth is delicious, not too salty and the chicken breast meat was done right (not too dry) There was so much chicken in there that I had to leave behind at least 8 thinly sliced pieces...that's a sin I know. This place is truly a hidden gem. We've been there a few times and always get surprised by quality of food and service. The vegan spring rolls are to die for! In our last dinner we had so many different appetizers and main courses and all were very fresh, well prepared and presented and delicious. All types of fish they serve is wild caught and if any seafood is not wild caught it will be from sustainable sources , and also the green salad was organic. Amazing service, quick and courteous. all prices are super reasonable too. If this place was located in downtown Los Gatos prices would easily be quadrupled! We love this place read more

Let's get to it; I had the Pho, shrimp Spring Rolls, and BBQ Beef rolls. The Pho is not their strong point. It's missing all the particular spices that make for great Pho. In reality this broth is better suited to other viet noodle soups such as hu tieu, but not Pho. The BBQ Beef rolls were great. They're filled with fried onions and taste great with nuoc mam. The salad is good; cucumber and tomato, with the exception of the american bagged salad type lettuce, underneath. The Jasmine rice was also great. The shrimp Spring Rolls were fantastic and complemented by an amazing peanut sauce done in a Thai-similar style with lots of peanut butter, which is great, but you may want to add a little hoisin sauce, maybe some chili sauce and viola, the perfect viet sauce. My fiancee is Vietnamese and was the one who cooked for the whole family while growing up so I've had several crash-courses in how viet dishes normally taste and what spices they contain. The shrimp spring rolls were a little thinner than usual but that made it so much easier to eat, and they were tightly rolled so the insides weren't falling out. The peanut sauce has a strong peanut flavor that complemented the spring rolls nicely. The ribeye and well done brisket pho had a good amount of meat and about two handfuls of noodles. The broth was light yet flavorful with a medium star anise taste. I did like that my bowl had just a little bit of onion instead of the over abundance of them at most pho places. Lived in Saratoga for years and I've always had mix feeling about this place and my experience today validates why I can't love or like this place. I've only eaten here 3 times total because I always think my palate will adjust, the problem is not so much the food but the employees. While I take my friends recommendations heavily, I felt like there was something about the pho that was not my cup of tea..or should I say bowl hehe. First off, the broth was dark.. This place was really mediocre at best. Came here after a long weekend and needed some comfort soups. Some of our friends got different variations of Pho, but the soup flavor just wasn't all there! I got the Hu Tieu-- combination dry noodle with the soup on the side to switch it up since my friends had gotten the Pho and even that was just OK. I think I liked what I had gotten a little more than theirs because it had different flavoring, but it still wasn't as great as I had expected. The food is pricey for what it is as well. I probably wouldn't come back as there are many other places that I would rather venture out to for Pho or other Vietnamese noodle dishes. I just have to say that this place has great service. I came here on Saturday to get pho with my brother. I've been here once before and enjoyed it so we decided to come back for a repeat visit. We got here and a person on staff seated us, but then we realized that it may not have been someone who was serving, so after waiting for a while and not getting service, I flagged someone down and told him our situation. I was fairly nice about it but the server was extremely apologetic and kept saying sorry to us that they ignored our table. I wasn't upset because I figured they didn't know but everyone who helped our table afterwards was apologetic. I honestly felt really bad but they were pretty awesome after that. They got us our food really fast and even comped our drinks. That's like A+ customer service to me. They totally didn't have to but they did. Their food is pretty delicious and every affordable. Worst costumer service!! Just called to order for a pick up and the guy on the phone was not patient nor helpful when I asked about the menu. In the middle of my ordering he says to me "call back when your ready and hangs up." Decent pho joint with a diverse clientele. I wouldn't say this place has the best pho in the area, but it passes! The shrimp spring rolls are pretty good, and I also like their thai milk tea. They have a cute little bar area, which is ideal for people who don't want to wait for a table. Had the all-meat pho. Tasted good, seems too good to be true with the no-MSG, although you can tell there are a lot more spices added to the broth to give it more flavor, like the allspice. Next day, my face was slightly puffy, so maybe it was the ton of salt? Not as bad as the puffy face Chinese restaurants give me, though. Good service. So they're a bit pricey... given how I grew up with Tong Kee - very inexpensive and fast BUT I guess with FRESH veggies and seafood - the extra $$ is worth it... I crave their crispy noodle dish... that crunch with the awesome sauce/broth and fresh veggies - lots of broccoli (my fav!) not cut too big or small... but that sauce.. so addicting - AND no MSG! The overall restaurant is spacious and has a great bar space. Seating was fast and courteous. The food also came out very quick! What I didn't love, and why three instead of four stars was the service. We were seated and placed our orders quickly, however once our food came out we weren't checked on again until the end of the meal and I wasn't able to locate our waitress either. We had been given only one small plate of basil and toppings, despite ordering two soup dishes so I wanted to ask for more. This sadly never happened and I was disappointed that no one checked on us the entire meal. It was after the busy lunch rush and wasn't super crowded so there was not an obvious reason for not returning to our table. We also weren't offered dessert. The pho was good... Flavor was on point but my noodles were all stuck together. I had to cut them to loosen them up. Not sure why that happened but it's never happened before when I've eaten pho so it made me question the quality of the preparation. They do seem to have a good variety of dishes that might be worth trying. 18 bucks for a bowl of frozen seafood soup? Me and my buddy ordered three different plates and we both agreed that the foods are decent and oddly satisfying. Two stars for the foods. Here is the major problem inside the store. The man who is in charge of the counter is extremely rude to his coworkers and his manner is unprofessional. Customers were eating and luckily none of them knew Vietnamese because that would turn out super bad. He told one of the girl to shut the h*** up because she was "so stupid and nosy and mind her business". Basically she needed help and just simply asking questions about the service .
