I was impressed by the quantity of seafood they provide in each dish. Their ingredients are fresh and everything we ordered was editable. With that said, I don't think it's amazing enough to the point I am dying to come back. Ordered the Dry Seafood Noodle (#29) because they list is as a specialty. The broth that came along with it was tasty - above average for the broth you normally get with dry noodles or com tam. The noodle dish was below average. Flavoring was bland and the calamari rings were not good. Towards the end of the bowl the noodles started feeling slimy and the ground meat felt really bad. Would definitely not come back again for that dish. Quite disappointed that one of their specialty dishes is so bad. Thank you first of all LeQuy for having chicken pho for me to buy from you on my way home. The Jan 2019 timeframe was a bane of many people's existence as some mega-virus made most of us sick and coughing for weeks. It took me a month to get over this but nothing like chicken soup and some noodles to help me feel better before i stick a large double shot of NyQuil as my nightcap before going to bed. I do have to say that the pricing of the pho here was a bit higher on average but I have to say that the cuisine doesn't exactly match the typical Vietnamese restaurant stereotype. Came here around 12 and got seated right away. If you come after 1:00, you will have to wait. The combination Pho (#3) here was good but took a bit longer to come out compared to other places. The crab fried rice was good too. The bun bo hue however, wasn't good at all. Really fishy broth and seems like it was missing something. I couldn't finish it after eating a few bites. Portions are big but prices are slightly higher which makes the overall value on par with other Vietnamese places. For example, the fresh rolls were huge but it costs $9.50 for two rolls. Most places serve two smaller rolls and charge around $6. I personally don't like the rolls that big (difficult to eat) and the wrapper to ingredients ratio is off. The seafood soup has a chicken based broth and topped with seafood. The one unique thing about this dish is you have the option of either sea bass or salmon. We opted for the sea bass and it was really good (I am a big fan of Chilean sea bass). The bun was good but nothing outstanding. The service was very slow despite the restaurant being less than half full. Overall, the food was good but I will return only if I'm in the area. read more

The pho was average and it made me sad that you couldn't choose your pho bowl size. :( It was pretty pricey for a pho place. I never go back on my word when I say 3.5 stars but you know what? This place isn't Garden Grove quality but I still have to give them kudos to a few things . First thing on the list is crab, crab and more crab. Their seafood dry noodle is really good despite being watery. It comes with some crab claws which is super nice but for the average pho epicure, it's easy to make. The food is actually home like a which is why I still want to give the 3 stars. In terms of setting I like it, for Campbell residents it's close to us and usually really quiet in the restaurant. Well decorated with plants. They even have some well known beers on tap including goose island. Quack quack. Don't blame me, I can't help it. The name is too funny. Last good point is the staff, seems to me like it's all family members or something like that who work there. Better service than Berkeley restaurants actually. Note: despite food not so promising I recommend reserving the private room, good for time with relatives. Not to mention free WiFi. Went here yesterday for lunch. Was seated promptly. Pros: Clean, love that they focus on natural ingredients and no msg. Use good quality meat. Excellent tasting broth. Food is great and fresh. Even the limes were super juicy. Love the condiment options on table and everything on the table was clean and usable. Cons: Not sure you get assigned to a particular server, they all kind of come by and you can just grab someone if you need something. Because of this we didn't get plates for our appetizer and refills on water. Also forgot to make my broth spicy so I needed to track down someone for the spices. Need to improve this aspect. Is a little more pricey than other places. Fresh rolls for just under $9? Seems like a lot. Good thing they were super good. And bonus points for bringing two small bowls of peanut sauce so we each got our own. Pho is priced consistently against other places. Will come again since it's close and great quality. read more

I would not recommend the Pho here. Not because it is expensive, but because it does not taste very fresh. The broth is fine (average at best), but the meat did not taste very good and the noodles were a bit soggy. The moment my wife and I ordered our pho, it was served to us in a matter of minutes. It wasnt very hot either which tells me everything was all prepped and ready to serve. Not only that, they were very frugal with portions. I swear you get more noodles in a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup than you do here. They're very generous with the broth though which they fill up to the brim of the bowl making it seem you are getting a lot. The extra star is for their service. Friendly service. But wish they don't give you the check during the middle of your meal. It wasn't very busy and it felt as though they wanted us out. I'm so happy that I found this place! I ordered a bowl of beef stew with rice noodles which was a solid 9/10, the only reason for the -1 was because the meat wasn't that tender. However the broth was really flavorful and had a nice kick to it, it was really good! My friend ordered a bowl of their beef combination pho with rice noodles and I got to taste some of the broth and it was amazing! We also ordered a side of pork eggrolls - 10/10, and a side of combination fried rice - 10/10. I tried the salted plum soda with fresh lemon juice which was really refreshing and presentation was nice. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back to try more food :) read more

First time here came in on a Saturday night around 730. When we entered it was very confusing about the Check in process and there were so many people waiting in the lobby. Finally we were able to find someone that told us to sign in on a clip board. We had to ask how long the wait was and the lady wasn't able to tell us. We ended up waiting 25 minutes. The only reason we waited is because my friend told me it was worth a try. We were finally seated and our waitress took our order. We got the chicken wing app which is gluten free and it was so good. Sweet and salty, they were fried but not greasy at all. For dinner I had the chicken breast pho. They use free range chicken here and no msg. I could really taste the difference with the meat. Quick and friendly service with a smile. FOOD: No MSG!!! Which is a HUGE PLUS for me. Not too many pho places can claim this. The pho broth is light and smooth which is the highlight of the meal. Balanced amount of meat and noodles. SERVICE: Quick and minimal interruptions by staff. However, the staff will talk to you if you have questions or want to chit chat. There was a guy who is a regular and was telling the staff how nice it was to see them again and asked how they were doing. The staff would take some time to chat with him. When they brought out the food, the customer had a big smile and told his partner, "they know exactly how I like it" as he pointed out something on his plate. To me, that is a special interaction when a customer feels appreciated and the staff remember the small things. IMPRESSIONS: This is a good sit down place for family and friends. On my way to pay up front at the end of the meal, I saw the inside of the kitchen behind the register. That is one clean and organized kitchen! The only thing good was our waitress (younger vietnamese girl). She was funny and sweet. The food was HORRIBLE. I ordered vermicelli with grilled pork and eggrolls. The eggroll was pre-fried and then they cut in half and fry it again when you order. It came out completely burnt black and super dry. The waitress cringed as she brought it out and before I could even complain, she offered to take it back and get a new one for me. Thank god! But seriously, how can the kitchen send something that disgusting out? Hubby ordered the Pho and it was super watery, bland and had maybe 4-5 pieces of meat (which was dry, dry brisket). My wife loves the veggie pho with beef broth here. It does come with a lot of veggies and a good variety. Veggie pho at most places is mostly tofu. I get the beef and brisket pho and the quality of meat is noticeably better than any other place I've been. BBQ pork spring rolls are also a must get with out order. Could no doubt find cheaper pho, but it's still reasonable, especially considering the quality. We've been doing a lot of takeout and the service at the counter is always great. read more

I loved LeQuy. I've been coming here for years! School events and just cuz my family loved their food Today I placed an order over the phone and the guy,who I know who he is, was rather rude. I disregard it to maybe having a bad day, but don't thinks so since this individual is hot and cold. When I went to pick up my food I was shocked to see that no one that was cooking was wearing a mask! The young kid in the front had it around is neck and when he went to charge me he put it on correctly. He charged me my food and left. I wasn't able to say anything cuz no one was in the front. I don't believe we will be back. There are to many restaurants struggling and trying to follow the covid order for LeQuy not to. I had throw away my food and lost 65.00. Apparently this has been going on for days since there is another review that said the same thing. It saddens me that they have no regards for people's health. What I should have done was not paid for my food and left. I should have also read the reviews to see how they were handling these times. This was an expensive lesson. read more
