The seafood blends into everything and is the star but do not discount the details and sauces of each item to make it truly unique. There's zings and pows and delightfulness in addition to the huge pieces of scallop and salmon cake. The sense of richness is brought to every plate you don't want to stop eating. Do not sleep on their cocktail offerings! Strong drinks with strong mixed flavors- I got the silly blue drink with the blinking light inside and it was hilariously fun but also VERY tasty, tangy, and wonderful to drink alongside the food. I don't know how they manage to keep a cozy sense of special romance along with fun camaraderie but it's something unique to take notice and highly recommend to enjoy!

The food was tasty, although I thought the drinks were sort of meh. The ambiance is lively, and even though we were sitting in the dining area we caught parts of the show after and loved that! The bride-to-be got a giant slice of cake that we all shared and it was a fun way to top off the meal!

Alright first 3* in a while folks so settle on in, grab your coffees and think before you dine…read more Truthfully you know its going to be a fun time when the only thing that was hot this whole time was my coffee, and the blood in my veins from how aggravating this whole dining experience was. So the pros, the server is friendly and the atmosphere is pretty nice. The salad was good per my wife and mother-in-law. The coffee was fresh but it took a minute to get, not a big deal. The Bolognese was good as well, flavorful and plesant. Also they're quite generous with the pour on their wine so get drunk if you get the right wine. Now... the issues, let's start with the cold soup. I ordered mushroom bisque, apparently that was a mistake it came out cold, under seasoned, and hardly edible. Added about 2TSP of pepper to make it palatable. The music, whoever was playing it was nailing it but its way too loud, you're shouting to your party to have a basic conversation. Now moving in to my dinner, I must say I was generally disappointed again, spaghetti and meatballs with refills on the meatballs sounds great until you realize the meatballs are about 1/2 the size of a meatball I'd make at home. Its more like a Swedish meatball if you will. I'm underwhelmed, generally speaking as were the majority of my dinner guests. My wife says her ribs lacked sauce, they had plenty of meat but flavor-wise left her wanting. The fries were unsalted, and just underwhelming as well. A side note, I beg you separate the dining area from the bar with an actual wall. I love karaoke but not with my dinner... Remember, think before you dine... if you've got no other options sure this works but theres much better locations in Rehoboth Beach.

They wouldn't honor my reservation! My partner and I are (were) regulars there. I made a…read morereservation as I always do and received 2 email confirmations. When we arrived, there was only one hightop table available (we're mobility challenged and have difficulty with low chairs and always reserve hightop), so we took the table. We were told by two different servers that we couldn't sit there because it was being held for someone else. I asked about my reservation and they said I didn't have one (!) Another couple heard the commotion and offered their table, but that's not right. After that humiliation, we decided to go elsewhere. It's a shame - I was taking my buddy to where HE chose because he's having major surgery in a few days. While driving home, I received the reservation cancellation email - I assume they canceled quickly to cover up the fact that we had one. They didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the misunderstanding.

The staff at Shenanigans are some of the worst I've encountered. This place has a ton of other things I could knock them for but luckily a lot of other reviews have those covered. My advice is that if you are queer or a person of color, don't come here - they'd probably love to keep it that way. Not only did we see an employee record a gay couple at the bar with his phone and proceed to show it to his snickering coworkers, but we also watched another employee turn away and step outside because he was so uncomfortable with them being there. Not that it matters at all, but all the couple was doing was sitting there. Additionally, a member of our party who has a very dark complexion was being stared at, pointed at, and spoken to in an uncomfortable fashion by patrons sitting at the bar but that speaks more to the crowd that frequents it. Judging by the way the employees acted in the above example, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same. If you're looking to get disrespected, look no further.

SO, we decided we had the time, we were hungry & nearby, so we made our way to what is now called Whiskers Saloon. We were greeted warmly by Jay who was manning both the bar and customers at tables. We took some time to peruse the 2 page menu looking for both old favorites and what's new. I decided to try one of my usual sandwiches, The Rachel for comparison sake & added Sweet potato fries (additional upgrade). I asked & was happy the special spicy sauce I loved to combine with the fries was still available under a different name, Texas sauce. I will say, my sandwich was much better than in "the old days" because this was made with actual carved turkey thick slices as opposed to thin cold cut turkey from prior ownership. I was a happy camper! My hubby tried something new to him at Whiskers, he had a chicken cheesesteak sub and was pleasantly surprised and impressed to find it was not finely chopped up chicken, but cut up grilled chicken chunks with nicely sautéed onions. We were happy to return, pleased to find that good quality & taste was still there and its what we were used to after almost 15 years of frequenting here. We were happy to see Commanders game & flag displayed for this Sunday game with many fans inside boisterously enjoying the game playingon all the tvs. All day specials were going on today and Jay told us everything they were offering on the specially priced menu which was a nice extensive list of bar food and drinks, including $3 Yeungling.
