Was excited to watch the game at a new venue. First red flag was the fact that even though we were sitting at the bar in s half empty establishment it took the bartender ten minutes to greet us and another five minutes to put in a simple drink order. It seemed all the new customers had the same experience competing for attention with the bartenders cell phone. Then when we requested to watch a game we were told that Leny's could not afford NFL Sunday Ticket. So much missed opportunity and profit for the owner and staff:( read more

I'm currently the Duchess of leny's and for good reason! It is the perfect neighborhood pub with great burgers and "large" beers for not much more money than a regular pint. The staff are great people and there is always a good crowd of regulars any time of the day. I can say that I am here at least once a week and it's never a dull experience! Couple pool tables, darts, big buck hunter, a great juke box and all the big games on tv!! If you haven't been, go!!! read more

Love their giant beers with their non-giant prices. It's a good neighborhood bar with your typical pub food (a good burger, tots, and a tasty reuben sandwich). Playing pool can be tough when the place is half-full because they're very close to each other and the wall. I love the feeling I get everytime I go to Leny's. It feels like if I drink too many of Leny's ginormous beers, I may never find my way out of the neighborhood alive. This is a great neighborhood bar that somehow captures a kind of "roadhouse" vibe while being really friendly at the same time. You can order regular pints of your favorite draft beers, or get them in a giant stein for only a bit more (think of it as a personal pitcher). A jukebox that seemingly plays nothing but Rush and The Stones and a horseshoe shaped bar that doesn't quite rival the one at Palace Kitchen, but is stylin' nonetheless, make this a great place for a drink. I had such a great time, I'm considering being a Sunday night regular. The Good Ol Burger lived up to its name. The salt & vinegar fries were finger lickin good. It's just the kind of dive bar that a random drunk guy would come up to our group to regale us with stories of how long he's been coming to this joint and how he's moved away from the old hood and still keeps coming back. Best goddamned burger in Seattle. Get the Dock burger. Best big beer deal in our overpriced burg. No pretention. Jukebox. And a neighborhood joint to boot. It's not 5-star like Rover's or Lark is 5-star - it's 5-star for it's genre, which is to say if you like neighborhood 'dives' with great vibes, good food, and constant entertainment, you will not be disappointed. Excellent seahawks atmosphere. Very good tots. But, the gentleman yelling 'faggot' at the bar did not impress.

No Seahawks fans aloud. My wife and I went to watch two games there. The bar tender proceeded to yell at us to not chant SEA..Hawks! because some of the other customers thought chanting Seahawks was bad luck. The last time I checked each fan is aloud to cheer for his team the way he feels appropriate, Will not come here again for sure, Seahawks fans should be able to cheer how they want. read more

Leny's is a total dive bar, but can be such s fun place! There are video games, pool tables, ok bar food and mixed drinks, good beer selection, and televisions if you're into sports :) Every time I've been here has been a blast. It's nice to have such a fun place in the neighborhood. read more

pros: -yummy pale ales. -big buck hunter. -pool. -lots of seating/room. -young crowd of mid/late-twenties people without many creepy old people that usually accompany dive bars -TOTS (i've only heard rumors of them, but im sure they are delicious by virtue of being tater tots) cons: -crowded. despite the decent sized space, its always pretty full -unenthused bartenders. not rude or bad, per say. but i wouldnt go here to see a smiling face behind the bar, at least in my experience. read more

Service is great. Beer is cold. Drinks are stiff. And they know how to cook a burger. People are widely diverse at this spot from a sitting-on-a-corner-been-drinking-my-whole-life, to loud and rowdy UW students, basically allowing anyone to feel at home, well maybe not yuppies. They might find the decor lacking in style, but there is a place just down the street where drinks are $10 and stiff-not, but the decor is all dark, and posh. Lenny's does not cater to the be seen and see crowd and I hope it stays like that forever. read more

Leny's is the best neighborhood bar in the Greenlake/Wallingford area. The bartenders are awesome. The steins of Stella are the best deal around. I am sad that they don't offer the garden burgers they used to have, but I will let it slide because they just added tater tots to their menu! read more

My favorite bar around the neighborhood! It's nice to have a bar within walking distance of Greenlake/Wallingford that serves cheap beers, has great food, and has Buck Hunter. You can't beat $4 mugs of Bud Light, a Dock Street Burger, and then go a couple rounds of shooting exotic animals with your pals. If you have ever been to Earl's on the Ave, it kinda has that feel but only better. Not as many creepy people = better dive bar experience. Only downfall that I've found so far is that I heard so much about their Sunday Eggs Benedict special and went in on Easter to enjoy a good meal. The bar was open...but the kitchen wasn't. Went here for the first time this last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The bar staff was all really friendly and quick to serve. I hate when you walk up to a bar, or try to work your way towards the bar, and you wait forever to catch the attention of a bartender. That wasn't a problem at Lenny's. They were right there, and I had a great time with a large group of friends. I would definitely come back to Leny's, and try some of the food. My only complaint would be that there is a jukebox, so if no one is putting the money in to hear music... there isn't any. read more

Classic dive. I'd rate it 3.5 stars but I rounded up. Food was fine, I liked the tots and sweet potato fries (kind of boardwalk style!). Beer selection is ok, not much else to drink. Good beer, food, and prices* but they claim to be a sports bar yet allow a bunch 40 year old single women come in and play greatest hits of 1983 on the juke box (maybe not 83 but I as well as majority of the bar wanted to listen to the game, instead these chicks played the same songs over and over). My friend asked the bartender to buy out the juke box to listen to the game, however this non sports fan bartender at a self proclaimed sports bar was having non of this... message to the owner, doing a lot right, but please turn the juke box off during football games at a football bar. read more

Leny's, I love you. Seattle is not the biggest dive-bar city I've lived in, so I really took my time finding just the right bar that met my needs... cheap beer, sports paraphernalia on the walls, good grease-ball food. Leny's has filled the gap. A very solid dive-bar experience with great service at the bar and friendly local folks on pretty much every night of the week, I would highly recommend this as a hidden gem of the wonderful Tangletown neighborhood. read more

I liked this place for the most part. Everyone was friendly and my drinks were good. My only problem is the place is still clouded with smoke even though smoking inside has been banned since 2006. I would still go back, though. It's a good place to chill out and watch the game. read more
