I got the Lenwich sandwich on a ciabatta bread. It was pretty good, but a little bit on the oily side. I feel like after a few bites it became much. The Italian was good though. Tasted like most Italians, very classic. Service was quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice spot for a quick bite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Spinach wrapped chicken Ceasar wrap. A few tables for seating and a small bar space to dine in. Quick to order, delish and fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty clean location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] An effortlessly good and simple lunch 10/10!

I unfortunately found a bug in my Caesar Salad here on 6/1/26. Bummer, this was a go-to work lunch spot.

It's the way I dream about Lenwich's Chicken Caesar Wrap. The lettuce is diced soo finely and it's absolutely loaded with chopped chicken (yet it's not overkill), it's light on the Cesar dressing (not to self: get more on the side next time), and full of flavor. This wrap will keep you full for hourssss. Lenwich is super popular in NY (open one in Boston please!) and its setup similar to any fast casual spot. I just walked in, went up for the counter, ordered my wrap, was given an order number, and then they called out my number when it was ready. There were plenty of touch screen kiosks too to order. Very easy transaction from start to finish and now I'm back to wishing I had this wrap right now ...

Walked into a Lenwich years ago for shelter, not to order... said to myself my goodness this place is like a lame blimpie at best, and that I would not wanna come back. This being said, years went by and I heard it was being hyped; I saw some social media push going on and I was utterly confused. I succumbed, I finally got a pastrami on marble rye... I'm still confused as this thing was a total rip off. It's got very little meat on it, and it's small for the price to say the least. And they could t even include pickle? It wasn't bad, it tasted sorta good and the cut of pastrami wasn't really all that bad... but it's not worth the price. Go to any deli and just settle for boars head at a cheaper price. It'll be more stacked. Good sandwich I suppose it nothing great and not worth the price at alllllll. Way too skimpy on the pastrami.

12/04/23: Normally I love my meals at Lenwich. For the lunch rush they usually have a quick turnaround time. However, this visit was less than appealing. Long wait time for food and even more disappointing was my food. I have never seen chicken cutlet like that so thin and flavorless as were the sweet potatoes. I ended up tossing after a few bites. Will stick to my regular chicken sandwich

It's not the same as I remembered... so disappointing. In my head... Lenwich or what it used to be called "Lenny's Sandwich"... and the Lenwich was their signature take on a pastrami sandwich. I was craving this... and was completely let down... the quality just wasn't there... ugh. The texture of the slaw... was old, very chewy... vs. the crunchy one would expect. I was also wondering why I had a hard time chewing. Service is fine, there's a line for sandwich; a line for hot food and a line to pay... and then you wait for your number. I will keep my memory of their glory days... but will search for another sandwich spot for sure.

Was not happy with my wrap it tasted like mush. Everything was just mushed together honestly. No flavor at all. The only part I ate was the wrap of it. Disappointed to say for my first time trying. The service and ambiance were great the workers are nice and friendly.

Lenwich came up when I was in this neighborhood. I love their huge muffins. I decided to get two and put them in my freezer for morning breakfasts. Lenwich has grown on me since my daughter gave me a gift card. I like to sit for a coffee now and then too. I'm not a fan of their breakfast meals. They do make a mean sandwich to order! Customer Service is hit or miss depending on the location. I didn't have a problem at this location.

I go here like 3 times a week. Only makes sense I give a review. Simple New York sandwiches and salads at a reasonable? Price. It's quick, it's good, not like wow, but good enough to you know, keep coming. Sometimes you want simple things. Simple mind. Simple schedule. Simple women. Simple Sandwiches. Lenwich

There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.

The menu inside breaks down all of the sandwhiches, you roll up to the deli counter when they say next, spill out your order (add/remove stuff to your order) and you're done. The most overwhelming thing is deciphering the Italian sandwhich menu. I hit up the Italian Hot. Pretty decent! I added sun dried tomatoes...but it would have been just as good without it. Be PREPARED this Sammie has some chili honey liquid /oil sauce they put on it and it's tasty but it's a lot. The staff are friendly - just focused on getting your order and getting it to you so you can enjoy. The wall is pretty interested they have made their own decor out of door panel fixtures.

The line was about 10 people long around 1pm, not terrible - gave me a chance to further investigate the menu and gaze at loads of drool-worthy meats and cheese in the display case. I opted for the L'italiana, which features Prosciutto, Pistachio Cream, Stracciatella, Sun-Dried Tomato, Arugula, though I swapped out the prosciutto for bresaola. Oh man, this bread is legit! And as a yuuuge pistachio fan, that cream is delightful, especially coupled with that creamy stracciatella. Super well-composed sandwich, amazing bread, quality ingredients...a hit! Everyone waiting which was about 30 people were all visibly frustrated and angry. I missed my show because I couldn't even have predicted that ordering from a chain would take this long. They had 3 staff, 1 preparing not pickup orders and managing the register, one making orders with a stack of prepared orders whose names they weren't calling?!? Like how can you be this understaffed for a location like this. Getting someone to ask about your order was nearly impossible. Honestly, I feel bad for the staff working there since this is nyc and you deal with crazies, so one guy who waited 15 minutes getting heated I debated just finishing my sandwich at home because I didn't want to witness craziness Ok-actual sandwich was beyond a disappointment. They got it wrong and to get it fixed would have taken another hour that I didn't have. The bread was stale and cold and hard, there was veryy little meat. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
