Let it be known that I'm not a sandwich guy, that I was craving Chinese food, and that I can't justify almost 14 to 15 dollars for a sandwich. If not for the fact I wanted French fries and remembered some friends of mine gave me they leftovers with some guac, that I wanted to have lenwich's fries. That being said, not bad! The wrap I ordered prolly threw off the workers as they were making it because who wants a pastrami wrap, amirite?! Yeah I'm weird like that. It was good. Never had American style corned beef before and I didn't expect it to be as good as I thought it would be. Coleslaw in sandwich not too much, literally just right. A balanced wrap if you ask me especially with it being a spinach wrap. I'd recommend getting your veggies up in it too. I could have ordered online but I was overwhelmed by the bread options and didn't know what each bread looked like so L points on the website, someone on the ux design team gotta fix that. They also forgot to give me the honey mustard sauce on the side but that's not as vital. One thing I can't believe is that if you want things outside of the premade sandwich it cost 50 cents or more sometimes like wtf maybe I want some pickles on my sangweech, lemme have it! But that's neither here nor there, I'm just cheap. In terms of service, I mean it was lunch rush. The fact that they got my sandwich out in fifteen minutes after I ordered from the kiosk so can't complain. They out here busslin and hustlin so cut them some slack. I was in Park Avenue and wanted to have something different and saw this sandwich place.. always wanted to try here, but never did. Was a bit busy when I went around 1 PM... ordering was easy as there were terminals for us to order.. once you order you get a number and you wait for them to call that out.. took them 10 to 15 minutes for finishing the order.. there were five or six people making sandwiches. I think they were doing a good job... quick and effective.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]place was cramped though .. if u eat there it is a bad experience . The lettuce is diced soo finely and it's absolutely loaded with chopped chicken (yet it's not overkill), it's light on the Cesar dressing (not to self: get more on the side next time), and full of flavor. This wrap will keep you full for hourssss. Lenwich is super popular in NY (open one in Boston please!) and its setup similar to any fast casual spot. The ingredients are fresher and the meat to bread ratio is much more generous. The menu has some preset combinations of meat and vegetables but you can customize it to your liking. One of the sandwiches I'd recommend here is the Chickavo - grilled chicken with avocado, roasted red peppers, mesclun & ranch dressing. Typical run-of-the-mill Lenwich. Don't really come here for Breakfast, but I've stopped by here for lunch on occasion. I'm not too particularly keen on getting the salad or grain bowls here (def. better options for salads elsewhere), so I've stuck to the sandwiches. Unfortunately, there are only 3 veggie sandwiches on the menu. The Veggie' Wich is ok, but really is a bit too bland and perhaps too clean for my tastes. The caprese is alright, but it's really a simple sandwich. The Bello Melt is probably the better of the 3, even if you may end up getting a ton of mushrooms and an overbearing dressing at times. It was a hot mess. I didn't know where to go or what to do. When you walk in, it's up to you to know where to go based on the signs. There's different sections: hot and cold sandwiches, salad, and cashier/checkout. Not many people were at the salad section so I started there. I was able to order fairly quickly and customize to the way I like it. That was definitely a plus. Also, all the options looked fresh. When it came to the check out. I was very disappointed. You cannot tell who is cashed out and who isn't because everyone is hovering to wait for their food. My salad was done and sitting there until I was able to cash out. But there needs to be a clearer line for paid/not paid or salad and food ready line and pay immediately. Everyone was on top of each other and wanted to rush for no reason. I tried their signature pastrami sandwich. I was guided into this place by random passerbys' sandwich bags from Lenwich. I was intrigued. When I took the first bite I was thrown. It was so good. I generally don't like getting western sandwiches cuz they usually put too much meat and over do something with the sauce. But this sandwich was perfectly balanced. I wonder, though, if they have pickles. It would have meshed really well with it. I also got French fries cuz I love French fries (its becoming a problem...). The crew here is fantastic, love 'em. But no matter how many times I ask, the kitchen cannot make home-fries without bacon fat. Three days in a row now I have thrown out a full order of home-fries because of the taste of bacon. You see I have been a vegetarian now for over forty years, and I am sure where ever these Lenny's cooks learned to cook, they never learned about what is vegetarian. I am going to have to reevaluate where my breakfast comes from, the super nice and friendly front staff at Lenny's (but bacon tainted) or the surly people down the street, but never any bacon in my home-fires.
