Fresh, stacked tasty and fast. What more can you say about food to scream? It's awesome?! Ordering is a quick and easy delivery, faster, reliable. Ambience is really not on the table here because this is primarily a takeout and delivery spot whose location is somewhat difficult to find from the street level since it's on the second story near the corner. I can't really review this place because I couldn't find it. It's actually a ghost kitchen that looks like it's mostly for deliveries, located over a beauty supply store with a yellow awning. You can order online and pick up from the door at the top of the stairs (knock knock!) but it's not like a deli where you can go and order from the counter. I was bummed because the sandwiches in the photos look real nice! (The person who answered the phone was also nice.) read more

Food was a 4- got the blt, glad that it wasn't "giant". However- don't take phone orders or walk ins- want you to install an app and create an account to order- for a lunch sandwich? And I couldn't get their website to work- had a bunch of errors and was slow on my phone. Took like five minutes. Ridiculous process for getting a sandwich. read more

Really solid, BYO sandwich spot only available for delivery. You can choose every element of your sandwich from the bread to the condiments, and there are a ton of choices. I usually opt for a semolina hero with pastrami and roast beef, pepper jack cheese, and all kinds of veggies. My favorite part is that you can choose half portions of meat, which means that you can get 1/2 and 1/2 of two different types without having a complete overload on the meat portion. Delivery is reliable and comes in a pretty timely manner. Delivery drivers are always nice and the fee ($1) is minimal. Wish they had a brick and mortar store, but alas. The meats are incredibly fresh - like I have no idea what makes some cold cuts better than other cold cuts, but these are the real deal, whatever it may be. Sandwich bread can be a little soggy depending on which condiments you choose. Mainly I think it's just a little too pricey for the size - sandwiches typically ring up around $12.50 or so and they aren't particularly large. I think there's a lot of competition in the area. All in all, some faults but will order again! read more

First of all. Wow. This is by far one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Ordering Online - I absolutely loved their website. It was so easy to navigate and creating my sandwich was actually kinda fun. It's great that you are able to actually see all of the ingredients and what your sandwich will look like. Delivery - I requested my order to be delivered by 1:30pm. My phone rang at 1:29pm. Enough said. The sandwich - Amazing. I highly highly encourage the Turkey and Salami Routine I put together. Really solid sandwich spot! I was looking for a classic make your own sub type place nearby. I got my usual: turkey, bacon, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and sprouts on a semolina hero. They really let you customize the sandwich however you want with different portion sizes (half bacon, full bacon, double bacon!!) and so many toppings! You can even get it toasted. Sandwich was just what I wanted and of course, like any sub, a huge portion. Delivery was quick and efficient, would order again. I also got a pickle... was not good so I'll skip that next time and order the kettle chips. Pickle tasted chemically? Not sure. Wasn't what I was expecting. read more

True Story: The typical love / hate relationship. My company has been ordering from BB for the past couple months. For the most part, they did a commendable job at getting all (15) of our orders correct in the beginning. But then one day, they somehow got all of orders wrong with missing ingredients and mislabeled sammies. So I emailed them to complain (twice). That's when it happened. I became an enemy of the state and on their official s**t list. For the next 4 weeks of orders (no joke), they conveniently messed up the order under the name "Alex". Adding in unwanted jalapeños, forgetting cheese, and filling up only half the sandwich with protein are just a few of the "errors" that ensued. I started to become suspicious...so as any sane person would do, I ran a personal A/B test. I ordered under a pseudonym and low and behold, my sandwich was perfect to the T. Conclusion: *These sammies are no doubt delicious, but damn, they did me dirty. I will inevitably be submitting future requests under any name, but my own. read more

I'm so glad I came across this place, compliments of the official Mike C. of Yelp. I decided to make it worth my while and order 2 sandwiches. One savory, one sweet. I was obsessed after seeing Mike C's picture of a croissant with sweet goodness in the middle. My recreation consisted of a croissant PBJ and bananas, toasted. Deeelish!! My savory sandwich order consisted of a concoction my dear brother used to make me over at Dagwood & Scoops (SF, CA!! Shout out). Ciabatta, turkey, ham, brie, lettuce and pickles, toasted. I added a light order of spicy mayo which was the perfect amount of spice. Ingredients were fresh. Delivery was prompt within 30 mins of my order. Sandwiches arrived a little warm but that's understandable given the distance. The prices are reasonable as well. I don't normally like to order from places who charge a delivery fee, which this place does. 3 bucks. But it's an experience and definitely something to try out. read more

We had 170+ people in attendance, and Matt (founder) took special care to organize options to accommodate our timeline, dietary considerations, and other factors. Day of, Nick (general manager) went above and beyond by making last minute substitutions in the order and hand-carrying our very large order to our difficult-to-get-to venue. First time ordering, they were super responsive and on point. Sandwich quality was legit, as was catering delivery time (they cover a large portion of manhattan), food presentation/packaging. I would recommend ordering from these guys - what you see is what you get ...and the sandwiches are hearty (no skimping) and unique/tasty. Went over well for a corporate meeting lunch, no complaints. My only suggestion would be to either improve the quality of the catering salads or lower the cost - $60 for a mediterranean salad w/ scattered tomatoes, feta and black olives is a bit pricey for what you get. This is excellent!! Their sandwich was delicious, not to mention picture perfect. Their menu is VERY customizable with a lot of options and even the ability to choose regular or light on each additional topping. I got the Ciabatta (toasted) sandwich today with: half turkey half prosciutto, avocado, sprouts, arugula, mozzarella, tomato and Mayo and oil. It is SO wonderful and flavorful. It is exactly what I was crazing. Will be ordering again! I chose pick up instead of delivery. They don't have an official pick up option but you can select their address as the delivery address and then just go get it. It's really more of a delivery spot though so I'd encourage you get delivery. It is not an obvious looking store location, it's a small door and stairway but they're super nice and responsive. Just ring the bell and pick it up or get it delivered. The service is great, very fast and food is delicious! :) read more

I can't tell you how many times I've ordered sandwiches from here since I discovered them on Seamless a few months ago. They are SO DELICIOUS. I expected it to be a standard sort of hoagie but they're so fresh and the ciabatta bread especially is awesome. My fave combo is ciabatta, half portion of ham, coleslaw, LTO, banana peppers, oil & vinegar, and toasted! Had the Asian salad too which was not good, needed an option to add chicken. Best sandwiches in NYC, hands down! My office orders from here and everything is amazing. I'm a big fan of the spicy mayo sandwich as well as whichever one comes with bacon, because how can you go wrong with anything with bacon on it!? I'm not sure on price as it's catered for us and I have no clue what the bill is, but the sandwiches are huge and the chips are delicious! Another plus is they're always on time with their delivery. It just didn't end up sitting right and I had to stop before finishing the meal because I was concerned. I wasn't expecting top grade sushi, but I was disappointed in the quality for sure. I was always curios about Joji Box but it' s not cheap - so like many I wondered if it was worth it. Eventually took one for the team. The first time I got the omakase box I didn't love having to sauce/wasabi it myself but I think that's just being picky. The last time I got the omaakase box, the omakase chirashi and the maki flight. The omakase box is a good assortment with a shimi, salad, two maki rolls and 10 nigiri. The pieces vary with premium ingredients like kinmedai, ikura, uni, toro, etc. It's costly at $62 but I think you get what you pay for. The chirashi had a variety of sashimi, lots of ikura and plenty of sushi rice. It's very good but for $50 I'd rather kick in more $ for the omakase. Maki Flight is great, $21 for a sampling of their three best rolls. It's 12 pieces total but they're nice size with a good amount of filling. If you're looking to treat yourself for lunch or maybe a nicer dinner takeaway - solid choice. I'm convinced enough that I'll try Joji for real one night.

We did not realize that this shop did not have a store front. So when we got to the door, an awesome sign told us not to worry just order online and they will bring it out!
