The biggest sandwich you'll get in nyc and very reasonable price. This fed 2 people. You get to customize it through screens and there arent really employees you need to interact with. Very generous protein and veggit service - this is my perfect bread to filling ratio!!!

A fun experience where you walk in, step up to a kiosk, order, wait, and devour your created sandwich! After selecting the many options, my protein stacked handheld beast of a sandwich was the size of a 5 lb dumbbell. From the bead choices, deli meat, cheese slices, all the extras, and sauce addition, the creation was enough for two meals! The service was fast and the ambiance was comfortable enough to wait and take-out. There are no seating options available to dine-in. Overall, a fun experience for a custom-made sandwich! Enjoy!

This is BSidesNYC's second year using Barney Brown as our conference lunch caterer and we couldn't be happier! We do a large order of the individual brown bag sandwiches so that each attendee can just "grab and go", which works out perfectly for us. Here's what keeps us coming back: 1) The food is excellent! The sandwiches are well thought out and super tasty. We've done turkey brie, classic italian, roast beef, tomato mozzarella, vegan, and a kosher tuna wrap. We have heard zero complaints - except that we under-ordered a few meals - and received many unsolicited compliments. 2) The professionalism. They do what they say, when they say they'll do it. Ahead of the conference they help us figure out the menu and are able to modify certain items (within reason) to accommodate guests who keep kosher or have other dietary requirements. The day of, the food arrives fresh, well presented, on time, every year. And they communicate well throughout. 3) The flexibility. We are what I assume is a nightmare scenario for any caterer: a bunch of amateurs, all volunteers, running a conference of 1200+ attendees. Something always goes wrong on our end. Barney Brown's with us every step of the way. As long as their doors are open, we will be loyal customers. Thanks folks! - BSidesNYC organizers www.bsidesnyc.org

Tried this sandwich as part of a company event, had the Italian style sandwich with roasted peppers and salami - so delicious! Would definitely come back or to cater for a large event again!

Never misses! Diverse sandwiches and fairly quick delivery. Ever since I found this place I've been obsessed. It's grab and go for all the working peeps

A few notes to add. I came back sooner than expected but it satisfied my plans, half sandwich for lunch and taking half to the ballgame. They lost my ticket while assembling the sandwich so I had to verbally repeat my order. Not a big deal but I liked how they threw in a free bag a chips. Nice touch. Only other point to make is, I'd prefer a more practical and even distribution of the meat. It's centered around the middle so it makes for a good photo but the rest of the sandwich suffers for it.

As someone who is so picky when it comes to sandwiches, I absolutely love the variety that Barney Brown offers when it comes to literally everything. There are so many bread, meat, and topping options, and they're all there for you to choose what you want. AND, as someone with social anxiety who is constantly looking for ways to not interact with people, I love their ordering system. Either order online, or when you get there, order on one of their many screens. There's a tiny window where you pick up your order, and that's that. As you can see from the sandwich I got, they give you your money's worth of toppings, not skimping on anything. I was shocked when I opened the sandwich and saw all those layers of stuff I'd gotten. Truly the only thing I have to complain about is that this prosciutto was crazy salty. I don't know where they got their prosciutto from, but it was absolutely insane how this meat made my tongue burn just from the first bite. I ended up having to take out a bunch of slices of it because it got to be too much. To my fellow picky eaters, I recommend. And I'd definitely return, just not to get the prosciutto.

First time trying this sandwich shop. I ordered on their website for pick up. You customize your sandwich or select from their long list of sandwich options. I chose to customize my sandwich (semolina bread, turkey, provolone, mayo/dijon mustard, lettuce, tomato, roasted peppers, banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, onions, oregano, and coleslaw) along with a scoop of egg salad, 2 sour pickles and a diet dr brown's cream soda. The sandwich was tasty but wasn't too happy that the bread was soggy and messy to eat. Wasn't a huge fan of the egg salad (bland) and sour pickle wasn't the greatest. The quality of the ingredients were fresh though but they def packed in the meat. There's no tables inside to sit and eat, and you order on a kiosk then someone is there to hand you your order once ready. I'd be back to try another sandwich.

I'm so obsessed with Barney Brown and their variations of sandwiches. This is now my go to spot in Midtown for lunch. I love the fact they have many different types of bread, meat, cheese, and lots of veggie options. You can opt for salads also. You can order on their app or order in their store. They are super quick and their sandwiches/wraps will have you coming back

Solid spot for sandwiches and perfect portion for lunch! I got a Build Your Own Sandwich with Multigrain Roll, Turkey, Brie, Arugula, Spinach, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Avocado, Cucumber, Pickle, and Honey Mustard. The Honey Mustard is the perfect sauce if you want something a little sweet to go with the other salty parts of the sandwich. The portion is average but the ingredients are really fresh. Also loved the multigrain roll, was chewy but not soggy/too soft to hold all the ingredients together. Will come back!

Wow, a modern high tech NYC lunch takeout place. There is no ordering in person. All of the orders are taken via a tablet that are set up by the walls. The food comes out quick. No real human interactions. Perfect for a mid day quick work takeout! No tables/chairs are provided. No cash accepted.

Such a different vibe then u would expect when you walk into a sandwich shop especially if you are from Brooklyn. I'm used to a Italian sandwich shops in Brooklyn with a big counter and a bunch of people trying to shout their order lol. This was just one big room with a little window that hands you the sandwich after you place the order on the kiosk. There is one or two long couches against the wall so you can sit down if you need too. And it has a all the menus on the wall , sandwich's they created , build your on , or they even have some that the customers created (you name it too)and if they liked so they have those up there too and they said it changes all the time. So that's pretty cool. I decided to build my own sandwich and it was delicious! So overall an interesting experience!

It is a true gem in Times Square! We were staying in Times Square and really craving Asian cuisine--but as anyone knows, it can be surprisingly hard to find a genuinely good, satisfying dinner in that area. Finding Bee-Licious was such a gift. From the moment we walked into Picnic (a digital ordering food court where multiple kitchens operate under one roof and you input your order electronically) the staff (Kai) was incredibly kind and accommodating, taking the time to recommend the honey BBQ pork combo--and wow, we are so glad we listened. The meal came complete with fluffy rice, a perfectly cooked fried egg, and a freshly prepared salad of crisp lettuce, sweet corn, and carrots tossed in a light, refreshing vinaigrette. The combo even included a water or soda, which felt like such a thoughtful touch. This meal was truly the highlight of our day. It tasted home-cooked, savoury, well-prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely scrumptious. Every bite was comforting and balanced, not heavy or rushed--just honest, delicious food made with care. We're Filipino-Canadian and lucky enough to have some of the best Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese food on the West Coast (Vancouver!), and this meal genuinely tasted like home. That says everything. We would 100% recommend Bee-Licious to anyone craving an Asian-flavoured, well-balanced meal--especially if you're overwhelmed by Times Square dining options. Please support local businesses and eat at Bee-Licious. You won't regret it!

In helping him troubleshoot the block, I learned of this amazing take out sushi that is unlike any other take out I've had before. We went for the Joji Box 1 and I wasn't sure what to expect but wow. Everything is tucked away in this box: chopsticks, napkins, sauce dishes, fresh real wasabi, and even soy sauce from a tiny bottle. What a treat. I'd splurge on it if you want to treat yourself to a good "to go" lunch or dinner. Definitely do so if you have corporate meal allowance. I was always curios about Joji Box but it' s not cheap - so like many I wondered if it was worth it. Eventually took one for the team. The first time I got the omakase box I didn't love having to sauce/wasabi it myself but I think that's just being picky. The last time I got the omaakase box, the omakase chirashi and the maki flight. The omakase box is a good assortment with a shimi, salad, two maki rolls and 10 nigiri. The pieces vary with premium ingredients like kinmedai, ikura, uni, toro, etc. It's costly at $62 but I think you get what you pay for. The chirashi had a variety of sashimi, lots of ikura and plenty of sushi rice. It's very good but for $50 I'd rather kick in more $ for the omakase. Maki Flight is great, $21 for a sampling of their three best rolls. It's 12 pieces total but they're nice size with a good amount of filling. If you're looking to treat yourself for lunch or maybe a nicer dinner takeaway - solid choice. I'm convinced enough that I'll try Joji for real one night.
