yesterday, I just needed a plastic fork since I've been starving for hours and my blood sugar was already low enough, I rushed and went inside to this store and asked for one single plastic fork, they literally asked for 5 cents‍ and since I didn't have ant cents so they didn't give me any fork. That is the most stupid thing that's ever happened to me in the city! thank god "just salad" was just a few blocks away gave me whatever I needed, they offered even more! You should be aware of that how small act of kindness will effect your business. I will never think this place is a nice and kind environment whenever I pass through it anymore, while I always remember and keep purchasing things from the stores that have nicer employees and managers (just like the "just salad"). yes, all because of a single fork, tells enough.

So far so good, the food is amazing! I'm just sad that they haven't claimed their good reviews yet, hopefully they do. I even went as far as to tell them about claiming it! The food is great! The first time we ordered takeout and it was just awesome! The second time we went there got the same wraps and some ginger ales. It's a pretty awesome café to get wraps at, or should I say deli? I'm not very sure so I'm just gonna call it a café. The employees were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. They also gave me a piece of chicken to feed to our neighbors dog! (I visit and walk him when his owner is gone.) Anyways we had an awesome experience at this small café that's just living life to the fullest! I highly recommend getting their food!

I ordered online and came in-store for pickup. The pick-up process is smooth, as the staff gets your order ready quickly after you check-in. I usually get an egg and cheese bagel for breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised at the generous amount of egg and cheese filling in the 3.25 bagel I ordered. The iced coffee was slightly watery, but the size of the drink made up for it. I'd come here again for any late night or early morning sandwich cravings.

This place is where Cafe Bene used to be and it's called Cafe Venice ! It's awesome. First off, it's 24 hours (and after the late night pizza place around the corner shut down, it's needed in this part of Murray Hill). They offer coffees, fresh juices, sandwiches, breakfast items and the regular commercial drinks. When I went I. They were still packing stuff away so I didn't get a very detailed look. I had a grilled cheese for gasp ~$3.99 and a small latte for $2.99. I think $4 for cheese and bread is so expensive but it so much cheaper than the other places around so this will be where I grab breakfast on my walk to work. The staff is warm and accommodating. I was unsure what cheese to try and they offered to do a mix for me. I got a free muffin from the owner Saleh and he was open to my suggestion of adding soup to the menu. I still have to go back a couple times so will update but my sense of this place is that it is a welcome addition to the area and the quality of the offerings is excellent.

I was pleasantly…read moresurprised to find out they had a location in New York City, so I obviously had to give it a try. There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.

The menu inside breaks down all of the sandwhiches, you roll up to the deli counter when they say next, spill out your order (add/remove stuff to your order) and you're done. The most overwhelming thing is deciphering the Italian sandwhich menu. I hit up the Italian Hot. Pretty decent! I added sun dried tomatoes...but it would have been just as good without it. Be PREPARED this Sammie has some chili honey liquid /oil sauce they put on it and it's tasty but it's a lot. The staff are friendly - just focused on getting your order and getting it to you so you can enjoy. The wall is pretty interested they have made their own decor out of door panel fixtures.

The line was about 10 people long around 1pm, not terrible - gave me a chance to further investigate the menu and gaze at loads of drool-worthy meats and cheese in the display case. I opted for the L'italiana, which features Prosciutto, Pistachio Cream, Stracciatella, Sun-Dried Tomato, Arugula, though I swapped out the prosciutto for bresaola. Oh man, this bread is legit! And as a yuuuge pistachio fan, that cream is delightful, especially coupled with that creamy stracciatella. Super well-composed sandwich, amazing bread, quality ingredients...a hit! Needless to say, I'll be back in short order to try more of their menu. Good stuff!

This location, was absolutely not prepared to have this store in nyc. For New Yorkers that never had a sandwich from Jersey Mike's, this location will ruin the brand. I ordered a sandwich for pickup on a rainy night in the weekday, it literally took 1 hour for a cold sandwich that was missing parts of my order! Everyone waiting which was about 30 people were all visibly frustrated and angry. I missed my show because I couldn't even have predicted that ordering from a chain would take this long. They had 3 staff, 1 preparing not pickup orders and managing the register, one making orders with a stack of prepared orders whose names they weren't calling?!? Like how can you be this understaffed for a location like this. Getting someone to ask about your order was nearly impossible. Honestly, I feel bad for the staff working there since this is nyc and you deal with crazies, so one guy who waited 15 minutes getting heated I debated just finishing my sandwich at home because I didn't want to witness craziness Ok-actual sandwich was beyond a disappointment. They got it wrong and to get it fixed would have taken another hour that I didn't have. The bread was stale and cold and hard, there was veryy little meat. I basically ate a vinegar and vegetable sandwich on stale bread I could not picture working in the area and getting lunch here also paying $13 for this quality and chaos

I have three big guys with me and sometimes quick lunches need to be more filling than fast food options, so we chose Alidoro's under Rockefeller Plaza. We could walk to it form the hotel and it was in the middle off all we wanted to show the boys on their first day (first time) in the city. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
