I ordered my glasses here waited over a week, when I received them I noticed immediately I had blurred vision through one lens. They told me wait about a week for your eyes to adjust. Came back told them It was still blurred. They remade my lens, waited over another week when I received them i told them it was still blurred vision through the same lens. They told me I had to go get another exam. I went to the place I got my eye exam. They told me my prescription was correct. Came back to LensCrafters apparently they had typed in my prescription INCORRECT in the system. They had to remake them again, here I am almost a month later and still have no glasses. Spent over $1,100 on these glasses. Still waiting for them to get made. read more

After waiting an hour and a half to be waited on, the associates took two customers who came in after us. We have shopped here for many years and never had this kind of service. We went down the mall to the other lens place and were in and out in twenty minutes. Considering we buy 4-6 pair of glasses every year, they just lost our business. One customer came and was told she needed a new prescription, she went next door , had an eye exam, came back and was helped before they helped us. Im not sure what the "managers" name is. Hes a male with glasses kinda bald. He was so rude when i first stopped by because he was in a hurry to go home. He said " are you buying or not because i have to go home and cook" he was on a personal call 10 min into my arrival. Didnt even offer to help me. Once he figured i had money to pay out of pocket his attitude changed, all though he kept making rude comments. He was in such hurry to get me out of the store even though it was barely 7pm! Today i called because i got a text saying my glasses were ready so i told him over the phone he responded " well if you got the text that means theyre here obviously" , im not sure whats his issue is. He mentioned he wanted me to give him a 5 star review so he could get a raise. But def not. His attitude was horrible. Never coming back to this store. read more

I recently visited Lens Crafters at Hulen Mall, Fort Worth, TX. I spoke with Mathew Peters, Store Market Manager, about my broken eyeglasses frame. I asked him if he had the same frame. He stated that the frame was discontinued. I told him that I still can see perfectly with my old lenses. He stated that if he had the same frame; he would put my old lenses in the new frame. I knew that I have had to buy the frame. I could tell that he really wanted to help me. So, I left the store to head home. While driving, I realized that at home, I had the same frame but in a different color. So, I called him at the store and asked if he would pop lenses out of my broken frame and place them in my second frame from home. He said yes right away, which made me very, very, very HAPPY!!!! So, when I arrived back at the store, his very nice associate, Clarissa said that he was at lunch. I explained my situation to her. With no hesitation, she immediately changed my lenses to my other frame, and she put in new pads. She cleaned my lenses as if they were new. She was extremely patience as she worked on my glasses. I was so impressed!!!! I am still impressed!!!! For their kindness, patience, and so much more, I request that Mathew receives Manager of the Month. And, Clarissa receive Employee of the Month. After about 1 year of owning my glasses I noticed a cloudy smudging on my lenses - it looked as if something was "eating" away at my lenses. I took them in to LensCrafters to have them looked at, and was told by an associate that I must have cleaned them with something bad. I have only ever cleaned them with water and cleaning solution and expressed that to the associate multiple times. She basically said I was SOL and would need to either purchase new lenses or buy a new set. I took them to a local glasses repair shop. They explained that the "anti-reflective coating" - WHICH I PAID EXTRA FOR - had gone bad and that a simple dunk in a solution to remove this coating should do the trick. What do you know, after about 30 mins the glasses were good as new, and only for $48!! Long story short - Lens Crafters associate should have at least had the technician look at the glasses before immediately blaming me and offering little towards a solution. By doing that, also lost a customer who purchased regularly. Also - after researching glasses online LensCrafters has a significant mark up on frames. Order frames online for less, take them to a local shop and get lenses. Shop local save more! read more

This place is such a joke. I ordered a pair of gorgeous Versace glasses with the prescription lenses for 466.97. I called a week later and they said the tracking number says they are in the store but they are not. They asked if they could call me back when they found them. No one ever called me back so a couple of days later I called back. They said they are lost, must've gone to the wrong store. It's now 13 days later and I'm here to get a refund. I went in today to replace a lost pair of glasses. I was greeted immediately and was matched with Nicole. She was AMAZING from the start. I couldn't remember exactly what my insurance covered so she immediately made me print out of what it does cover and what the cost of anything additional I might want to add. Not only that, she printed me out my invoice from my previous visit so I could understand exactly what I could expect. Everyone there is super friendly! Also, they are very COVID aware and take the neccessary steps to keep us all safe. P.S. I'm sorry for the mountain of "try ons" I left behind to clean. I guess I'm a creature of habit. I used to get my glasses at Lenscrafters back in the day. They were always relatively expensive because that's just the way things were. Now that there are companies who can offer glasses in a more affordable and convenient way, LCs is now one of the most expensive places to get glasses with the most mundane selection to choose from. I came in with my husband. We needed glasses for him and 2 pairs of mine needed updated lenses. Two of the employees were helping people. Another employee just sat and watched us for half an hour but didn't offer to help. After a while, this employee (Danny) finally asked what we needed help with and that everything we touched would have to get sterilized. He plopped down a tray and said we had to put all the glasses we touched in the tray. It was rude and embarrassing. Add to that their replacement single vision lenses were $418 for ONE set of lenses alone and we left without making a purchase. I don't know why Danny was so rude to us. I guess I wasn't the right kind of customer for him to be nice to. Fortunately there are now other options for glasses so we happily left LCs. I will never step foot in another LCs again. read more

The eyewear technology has improved greatly and Lenscrafers is on the cutting edge. The downside is they have to send the lenses to a lab and for my trifocals it took 14 days. It is worth the wait. The service is not consistent. Everyone is friendly but not everyone has the same knowledge when it comes to their products. Others are not detail oriented or customer service centric. On a Friday or weekend they really need more staff. I visited the store tonight and took an hour to get assistance because there were only two employees and 6 people waiting. Lenscrafters you invested in technology please invest in your employees. They will keep you ahead of your competition. read more

It was time for my Husband and I's yearly eye exam. My Husband is extremely hesitant when getting any sort of checkup so when he agreed one day randomly at the mall to get a eye exam I jumped at the opportunity. Went next door Lenscrafters to get our eye exam. Pleasant experience no complaints at all. However, once the eye exam was over we went over to Lenscrafters and the experience there was not so pleasant. Lots of help and friendly people upon arrival. Picked out glasses everything was fine. I'm not stupid so I knew what my insurance covers and how much I would be spending out of pocket. Once we have sat down with our selected glasses I am told after insurance amount will be about $200 something dollars. I asked the woman to explain the charges which she did in a annoyed fashion. After going over all the ridiculous up selling that they do which is understandable I politely let her know I do not need any of those extras and just want what insurance covers. She literally released a huge SIGH as she took off all the charges. I was in disbelief at how fast she went from pleasant to annoyed by our presence. I worked customer service. Stuff happens. If you want to let out your frustration that Noone bought your upsell let it out AFTER THE customer is gone. As if the sigh was not enough she spoke slow and detached as she went on with all the extras she was taking off and asking why we think we do not need the super scratch proof bullet proof extra lens coating. I have wore glasses all my life... I think I know what I do and do not need. We will probably try another vision store next year after this oh so rude encounter. read more

Even though the optometrist next door (InFocus - DON'T USE THEM AS THEY SUCK!!!!!!) messed up on my prescription, she worked diligently to get it corrected for me by going above and beyond! This store has been amazing. I have had 4 prescriptions over the last 4 months due to some issues I won't bore you with (No fault of LensCrafters).
