Miss mom's pierogis? Want fresh, homemade-style cabbage rolls with all the trimmings? Don't have time to sit and eat but want to take some home? Lena's can do all that. There is such a variety to choose from, you're guaranteed to find you favorites. Of course there are special holiday recipes for Christmas and Easter too! The orders some in six so you can order a few different ones and satisfy your craving. Each pierogi is bigger than a mouthful you definitely get your moneys worth and won't leave hungry. The traditional sauces are so buttery! But my fave was the sauce served with the triple onion pierogi! A true treasure for the heart and appetite! Free parking on the side of the restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring your order to your table. Go. Go now!

I'm glad we found this place while on a road trip across Route 80. It's only about a mile from the interstate. They offer authentic Polish home cooking at great prices. We both had a plate of 6 pierogis...a generous portion for only $5. They were delicious and bore no resemblance to the frozen ones you get in the supermarket.

Environment: A little busy, but when you walk inside, bells sound to alert the workers that a person or two has came inside. The best restaurant in Hubbard for pierogies because of the many different flavors and the excellent quality of the pierogis and the staff are so amazing and knowledgeable! If I could, I would give this restaurant, the staff, and their food and options more than five stars!

Great food with generous portions. Definitely taking part of this home. Remember to order at the counter and find a seat. Seating is limited. You can carry out or buy some items frozen and take them home

Great Pierogies and Haluski. I noticed this place acouple weeks ago while driving by. There were people outside waiting to pick up orders. I asked how it was and they all got big smiles and said great. Yesterday May 21st while driving by I desided to stop and place a order. Pierogi orders are a minimum of 6 per flavor. Tried the Potato, Sour Cream & Chive and Hot Hungarian Pepper. Loved them all but will say the flavored ones were the Best. Haluski was very good, no doubt the best I've ever had. While waiting for my order i obsereved a continuous flow of people picking up orders. Due to Covid19 they were only doing take out orders. I highly recommend trying Lenas Pierogi House. Great change of pace from the normal local places.

What do you say to Friday night pierogies? This Friday night we stopped at a unique little dive that served fresh Polish cuisine. The food was fabulous! So much food for such a great price! Definitely one of the top on-the-road stops that we have ever had.

Imagine a magical land where the smell of pierogies wafts through the air like a warm hug from your…read morePolish grandmother. Now, stop imagining, because Krakus Polish Deli & Market in Boardman, Ohio, is that magical land, and it is the holy grail of pierogies, kielbasa, and all things Polish food-related. If you haven't been yet, your taste buds are straight-up missing out. First of all, let's talk pierogies, these little pockets of heaven are to die for. Like, not even exaggerating. I tried the classic cheese and potato ones, and I'm pretty sure I saw a light flash before my eyes. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, these pierogies are so good they should be illegal. But wait--there's more! They do weekly pierogi specials, and trust me, each week is a new flavor adventure you won't want to miss. The cabbage roll; Heavenly. The sausages... Let me tell you, if there's a better kielbasa on the planet, I don't know it. The market is like a treasure chest of authentic Polish foods, we're talking everything my Polish grandfather used to keep stashed around the house, like sauerkraut pickle jars (which I'm 100% sure he got directly from the motherland), obscure teas, crunchy wafers, and probably some mysterious cured meats you didn't even know you needed in your life. And then there's the prices. I don't know how they're doing it, but you could feed an entire village of hungry Babcias (grandmas) on a budget here. Incredible value, folks. But--here's the catch--the hours are... um, "quirky." Like, if you're planning to roll up for a late-night pierogi binge, you might want to double-check their hours because they close early. It's kind of like they really want you to enjoy the pierogies, but on their schedule. So, don't be that guy who rolls in at 7:15 pm and finds the door locked. Trust me, I've been that guy. So, check the hours, make sure you're ready to dive headfirst into some of the best Polish food you'll ever eat, and prepare to have your mind--and stomach--blown. Krakus is like stepping into your Polish grandma's kitchen, if your grandma was a magical food wizard who had a secret stash of pierogies she didn't share with anyone. GO HERE. Seriously. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

MY FAVORITE PIEROGIS IN PITTSBURGH…read more Ever since I had this spot for the first time over three years ago when I lived in Coraopolis I haven't had a desire to go anywhere else for pierogis When I moved out here 2 years ago and found out there was one 10min up the road from me in the Wexford Plaza I nearly shedded a tear. This is actually my first time trying everything else as well The pierogis. Elite. Not pan fried or dropped in a frier. A good pierogis doesn't need that and you can't change my mind. Not thick in the dough or BATHED IN BUTTER. Fucking hate when places drowned them in butter We got, spinach and ricotta, buffalo chicken and potato and cheese. spinach and ricotta will always be my favorite pierogi BUT depending on my mood and of these 3 can be best to me The Halupki was fine. Won't recommend it. Filling was bland as fuck but the cabbage and sauce were great. Just give me that without the filling Haluski. Phenomenal. I've grown up with Haluski always being with bow tie noodles. Cam and I fight about this now an she can't change my mind so NONE of you can. But curious nonetheless to what you're used to The sauerkraut. Been awhile since I've one that kicked my dick in like this. Fermented long so niceee and vinegary AND has some of the tomato sauce in it. Elite THE KIELBASA OUT OF LEFT FIELD WHAT IN THE FUCK. This is undoubtedly the best I've ever had. Even if you don't like pierogis go for this alone. The smoke in each bite was something you get from a true BBQ spot I only have three other spots that interest me that I know will be contenders for my current favorite. Cop Out, Starlite Lounge and Polska Forgotten Taste REMAINS SUPREME. I regret not getting a gnocchi dish. Please get one for me Owners are Eastern European. From looking at the menu, walking into to pick it up, eating it at home, this place did not disappoint. Let me start with the menu, everything looked and sounded amazing. Once I walked in though, the ambiance, decor, smells...wow!!! Looking forward to eating in at some point and enjoying the gorgeous patio room! Now let's get to the good part, my drive home was filled with absolute mouth watering smells, my family was amazed I made it home without stopping and doing some taste testing. Everything was spectacular. I do need to specifically point out the kase schnitzel was the greatest meal by far, the creaminess, light hint of lemon... cooked to perfection. If this app would let me give more than 5 stars I'd just keep hitting them until another schnitzel showed up in front of me. Great restaurant.
