Our favorite is the Eggplant over rice! The food is so good and service also great! Nothing like sitting on the patio in the summer.

We ordered a large order for a special event. The food was amazing, a big hit. 4 stars because we confirmed final numbers 2 weeks before and when we went to pick it up they had food for the original estimate, 85 people instead of 65 confirmed. It ended up being a lot more than it should have. What was concerning is when I told the owner, she seemed offended and said I can't make this food for less. Charged extra for feta that was never received, spinach pie looked nothing like the menu photo, it looked like a grilled chicken breast and had absolutely no filling. I then realized the menu was using AI generated photographs. The entire meal was greasy and overpriced, and the owner writes passive-aggressive condensing rebuttals to any review that has something negative to say. Wow this place is wow. Desserts are incredible. They have a lentil soup that tastes so Wonderful. Magedra dish comes with Bread and a Salad. They have spinach pies with or without feta. We went there for lunch and so glad we did. We sat outside instead of indoors since it was so beautiful out and so glad we did so. The food were all wonderful. Very authentic middle eastern food. The staff are all great. Order the rack of lamb! We paired our meal with a Lebanese wine and drank the whole bottle lol. We could sit outside and eat and drink all day here. A family run business in a plaza just a bit away from the busy part of route 224. Christine an obvious member of the family did a great job in not only service, but making us feel welcome. Once we walked through the door all expectations changed. This place is much nicer than the diner we anticipated. Yet still had the comfort feeling that a good family diner has. Food was great. Lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Shush as well was very enjoyable. Portions were good and food came out hot in a reasonable time. Okay, just to be honest, I'm not a Lebanese connoisseur by any means, but I do consider myself a true "foodie." So, to the other foodies out there...Zenobia is a YES. We got the raw kibbeh and the plate with tabouli, hummus, peppers, and falafel. It was all SO good. The onions with the kibbeh was . Everything was fresh and the ingredients were definitely high quality. The pita bread was also really good. We also got their tea (both iced and hot), and it was PERFECT. I'm somewhat of a coffee critic and this made me want to throw my coffee over my shoulder and just switch to (this specific) tea. It was full-bodied with the perfect blend of spices. The atmosphere inside is okay, but really, if it's the right weather, choose outside! The plants and lighting make it that much better. Also, the staff was all genuinely friendly and attentive. I had Their Health Food plate appetizer with Hummus and Tabouli. I had Beef Shawerma and Fries for the main entree. The food at this establishment is fantastic, tasty and filling! My spouse got the chicken over rice , which he rated 5/5. I got the chicken on a rod, which I rated 3/5 for the chicken and rice portion of the entrée. I think Kabob House has better chicken kebab and rice that is much tastier. The salad that came with my chicken on a rod here was very disappointing, and I give it a 1/5. Kabob House's salad that comes with their chicken kebab is much better. The salad at this place was iceberg lettuce and tomatoes; just two ingredients and it came with dressing that tasted like oil. The dressing had no flavor. Baklava, however, I would give a 5/5 at this place, and it was much better than Kabob House baklava. They also had baklava cheesecake, which I also give a 5/5. read more

He audibly sighs, rolls his eyes, and in a holding back kinda way, throws his hands down. I say "sorry, is that too much?" No, what do you want? Well, I wanted to ask about different deserts but he was obviously put off and did not want to talk to me. I say just give those. Feeling awkward to ask a question. I get to the register, his negative energy felt, he ask me to sign my name. Before I can ask where a pen is he has walked away. I still left a tip, not sure why. See, I work in the utility field. Best hummus around. I don't know how they get it so creamy but man it's good! I love their chicken combo dinner, the chicken is really good and the garlic sauce that comes with it compliments it perfectly. The grape leaves are delicious and the kibble is really good too. My first visit and won't be coming back. Our 4 person party placed an order for 2 bowls of lentil soup, 2 gyros, 1 chicken shawarma, 1 health food platter. After quite a wait the waitress informed us there was only enough lentil soup for 1 cup. So we changed our order to 1 cup lentil, 1 bowl chicken soup. Never got the lentil soup nor the drinks we ordered. Then, after 30 minutes we were informed our order never went through the machine so the kitchen didn't receive it. So we waited some more. Then when it came it was wrong. After checks were delivered waitress told us bills were probably incorrect. She was right. Did not offer us dessert either which looked awesome. I had heard such good reviews and was very disappointed in the service that the food became irrelevant. read more

This used to be one of my favorites. But the owners better come back from Syria soon because it has gone downhill since they've been gone. I doubt I'll ever get my mother to go back there after tonight's experience. A very sup par experience for sure. Her shrimp and rice was barely any shrimp and vegetables, it was a plate full of just rice with 5 small shrimp sitting on top. The homemade tahini sauce that I paid extra for was nothing like what I've gotten there before. It was uneatable. Service was crazy slow, and when we said something our server told us that the owners were in Syria and the restaurant was a mess. She gave us a piece of free baklava for our complaint. This restaurant is extremely overpriced, disgusting and the servers are not professional at all. The food tastes like it has been in garlic for a month. Still trying to stick to my "eat better" New Year's resolution, I jumped on the wife's suggestion that we try the latest "Mediterranean" place in the area. Turns out it's Syrian. All the better, another country's cuisine marked off the list. And this was very good, what I had anyway. The place is deceptively big, with the location in a shopping center making me think more carryout than dine-in, but I was wrong. There's ample seating inside. There's a bar you can sit at that basically overlooks the kitchen, tables in that same area and a back area with tables. It's bullpen style seating. The place is located on US 224 right off St Rt 11. Go west on US 224. It's on the right, past McDos. The service was outstanding. The ordering process started with a waitress that was obviously able and willing to defuse any concerns one might have with a "foreign" menu. There were a couple of other waitresses that stopped by periodically to ensure we had full cups of tea, etc. No booze, so I ordered Iced Tea. The waitress suggested the Syrian Tea. Nice choice, very smooth and slightly sweet. The wife did the same and enjoyed it likewise. I ordered the Tabula Salad as an appetizer. This is my Middle Eastern measuring stick. These guys measured up. Finely chopped, tangy, nothing overpowering anything else and a dinner salad sized portion. Dinner came out promptly, and the place was about half full. I had the Rice Topped with Yakni. This is ground lamb, green beans and a heavenly sauce served over rice. I took half of it home. It cost $4.99. The wife had the 6 Grape Leaves, 1 Kibbee, Tabula and Hummos. The grape leaves were thin and tightly wrapped with a minimal amount of filling, but it was good. I think there was meat in them (I didn't get but one). The Kibbee was very good too, not greasy, tasting quite good dipped in the sauce that accompanied it. We were both too full to even think about the Baklava that waved at us as we left. If the food hadn't been enough to guarantee a return, the Baklava would have. This place is recommended. They are closed on Sundays. read more

This is a great little family owned and run place. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. I have previously eaten at Alladins in the region, but this place blows them out of the water. Best tabouli I've had outside of NYC. Chicken fattoush salad was excellent and large with truly grilled chicken - delish!!! Attentive and knowledgable service. Helpful too.
