We went there for lunch and so glad we did. We sat outside instead of indoors since it was so beautiful out and so glad we did so. The food were all wonderful. Very authentic middle eastern food. The staff are all great. Order the rack of lamb! We paired our meal with a Lebanese wine and drank the whole bottle lol. We could sit outside and eat and drink all day here. I'd highly recommend this place and I'd definitely go back again for more!

A family run business in a plaza just a bit away from the busy part of route 224. Christine an obvious member of the family did a great job in not only service, but making us feel welcome. Once we walked through the door all expectations changed. This place is much nicer than the diner we anticipated. Yet still had the comfort feeling that a good family diner has. Food was great. Lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Shush as well was very enjoyable. Portions were good and food came out hot in a reasonable time. Although we stopped in for lunch, I suspect that dinner would be equally deserving of 4 stars. Hopefully we can come back soon and verify.

    More atmosphere!

Just had dinner at Zenobia Middle Eastern Cuisine in Canfield, Ohio for the first time. A great place to have Lunch or Dinner. The review below includes the menu and what I had tonight. I had Their Health Food plate appetizer with Hummus and Tabouli. I had Beef Shawerma and Fries for the main entree. The food at this establishment is fantastic, tasty and filling! I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is both classy and retro at the same time. A great restaurant with a great atmosphere and food. A great local establishment to eat at if you live in or visit the Youngstown area. Located on East Main Street, (US Rt 224 in Canfield, Ohio.)

Our favorite is the Eggplant over rice! The food is so good and service also great! Nothing like sitting on the patio in the summer.

Terrible service. Mediocre food. They add random charges to your bill to make it higher. Will not be coming back here.

Great servers, fresh food, delicious salads. If you don't like spicy food, ask the server when ordering. Very clean & well maintained.

We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!

It used to be fresh, creamy, and flavorful--the kind of hummus that kept me coming back. Now it has a thin, watery, almost slop-like consistency with very little flavor. It tastes as though corners are being cut, whether by changing ingredients or rushing the preparation. For a Middle Eastern restaurant, the hummus should be one of the signature items, and it's disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in quality. It's frustrating when a place that once took pride in its food starts sacrificing quality to save money or reduce effort. I genuinely hope the owners return to the original recipe and standards because this restaurant used to be one I enthusiastically recommended. Right now, it's hard to justify coming back when the food that made it special is no longer the same. Staff is amazing and nice.

They are so nice here. I also got the combo plate to get a little bit of everything. The chicken and beef are cooked so perfectly and tender. The rice is so soft and light. We were confused as to where the actual restaurant was. There is a sign on Route 8, so we parked there, looked around, walked downstairs, only to find it was offices. We then walked upstairs and found that the entrance was actually on the other side of the building but accessible from the front. It's an interesting place when you walk in. We were quickly greeted and seated. It seemed as though the owner and family were working. The menu was interesting, not real large but sufficient. We had, who I believe is the owner, come to our table and ask what we typically like to eat and then she was making suggestions. We thought she was just being helpful. My wife finally looked at her and said, I'm sorry are you also taking flour order now? She replied well that's what I was trying to do. To me that was a little off putting. We all took her suggestions and ordered. The food came out fresh and warm. It was good. We all tried each others meals. We felt that what my wife ordered was the best.
