We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!

This food is beyond Devine and you get a outstanding amount of food for the price you pay not to mention the quality of it. I have had numerous different middle eastern food experiences including when I went to Israel and traveled the Middle East and this food is outstanding compared to even the food there. It has both perfect and lingering tastes that will stay in your mouth for hours and it is so delicious I genuinely can not describe the feeling the food even gave me. I have found a will to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to mention they treat you like you are part of a family with them and are so generous and kind to the people that come in to eat. As well as great decorations around the restaurant! They had resin designed tables and floors and even have beautiful graphics around the whole restaurant as well as being extremely roomy. It feels as if I was eating like royalty. Best middle easter food in the valley! Had juicy kabobs, and the appetizers taste fresh. Could tell the quality was amazing.my husband had the chicken tawook and I had the lamb chops . The meat was incredibly tender . I would recommend the mezzanine platter as an appetizer if you have never had middle eastern before. It will give you an opportunity to try a variety of things, the dolmeh and the tabouli were fantastic . I would recommend coming before 8 pm to avoid the night crowd, and if you can't and you don't want the night crowd scene, ask for the VIP room seating . This is a LOCAL business. So my mom is middle eastern, and I can tell you first hand. This is as authentic as it gets in this area. I started off with hummus and lentil soup, both were spot on and the best hummus Ive ever had. It was completely a pleasant surprise . I had a shawarma wrap, and if you try anything , try the wrap with the Saj bread. It's fluffy and pastry like but hearty at the same time . My biggest concern was what the knafa would taste like, as I had tried it overseas. And let me tell you, it is authentic. I could taste the special ingredients , they are imported, as advertised . I just left here with my friend, and Id never had this type of food before. I tried the greek salad with the falafel (spelling?) and followed with some soup and the mixed grill. the MIXED GRILL is the perfect blend of mixing meats. Its chicken, beef and lamb ground, and lamb tips. OMG. heaven. The smoky taste from the grill was evident. This has to be the best prepared fired meal ive ever eaten. I tried some lobster from my buddy, (without him looking) , and honest to goodness, the best ive ever eaten, also off the fire grill. I didn't try dessert, next time. Featured on the morning news, the food looked amazing so we went for lunch and found our new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. The food was hands down the best we've ever eaten. We had the sampler appetizer and the 3 meat kebab entree, portions were in line with pricing. Service was great and owners were present going to all tables to make sure everyone was happy.
