Friendly owner and great food! We had souvlaki and gyros. Got some pastries to go and they were incredible!

Best Gyros and Greek pastries in town. If you're looking for great customer service and good food his is where to go.

This place is wonderful. The lamb was tender, the sauce was creamy, and overall it was a great meal!

The lamb was like jerky. Two stars because since the meat was dried, at least it wasn't rancid.

Mediterranean plate is tasty! Grilled pita is great! Pick this over nearby chains!

Little Damascus - Three Meat Combination Dinner

We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!

Hardly any meat in it. Shaved little tiny pieces. Two orders of chicken over rice. The same thing. Shave little pieces of chicken. I'm sorry but I won't come back. I spent $85 and I won't be back. I love our local Panera. Usually I have them deliver soup to the house - which I have to say is the…read moremost wonderful thing ever when you are sick!! Their delivery service is normally excellent and in the past year I think we only had one bad experience and they fixed it right away! So my sister and I stopped in for a quick healthy lunch and did a two for deal. She chose Mac and Cheese and a side Caesar and I had the Creamy Tomato soup and 1/2 a grilled cheese. Her salad was huge but sadly they used iceberg lettuce mixed with a little romaine so it wasn't as good as a normal Caesar salad but the dressing was amazing! Their Mac and cheese is one of the next best thing to homemade that you can get. It's crazy creamy and delicious. The best part is its organic! For my family that's a huge plus as my sister can only eat organic foods! My soup and sandwich hit the spot. I loved the robust flavor of the creamy tomato soup and the grilled cheese was spot on perfect. Just what I wants on a chilly December day! It was my first time having this soup - I normally have the French onion and I will def say I'll be having the tomato more often now!

One day I wanted something different to eat. Panera popped into my little head. It had been years…read moresince I'd eaten there...and I wondered why I never eat there anymore. Then I ate there. And I remembered why. The food isn't that good. The chicken sandwich they've been touting is roasted, and had a weird flavor. I was expecting crispy chicken breast. I threw 1/3 of it away. The broccoli cheddar mac & cheese was kinda watery. The cheese definitely needed to be thicker. Their bagels are their best product, along with the cream cheese toppings. The baked goods aren't bad. They coffee is pretty good. But don't go through the drive-thru line thinking your order will be a a quick pick up. You are gonna WAIT in the drive-thru line....a long time. I mean like ... late-for-work-when-you-left-home-early. Here's another issue I have - when I order on the app, why do I only have a choice of in-store pick up, or curb-side pick up? Why can't I choose to pick my items up at the drive-thru?
