I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but it has unfortunately gone downhill. One of the biggest disappointments is the hummus. It used to be fresh, creamy, and flavorful--the kind of hummus that kept me coming back. Now it has a thin, watery, almost slop-like consistency with very little flavor. It tastes as though corners are being cut, whether by changing ingredients or rushing the preparation. For a Middle Eastern restaurant, the hummus should be one of the signature items, and it's disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in quality. It's frustrating when a place that once took pride in its food starts sacrificing quality to save money or reduce effort. I genuinely hope the owners return to the original recipe and standards because this restaurant used to be one I enthusiastically recommended. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh , and well prepared. The hummus is a must for an appetizer. The shawarma beef salad was very flavorful, especially with the house dressing. Came by here while I'm town because we were looking for somewhere that has some healthier options. We came around 6 so it wasn't too busy yet and were sat right away. Shortly after we were greeted by our server They had a wide variety of options and we ended up sharing the kibbie app and 2 entrees. Aladdin's favorite and the Mediterranean Lamb plate. They have The Best Hummus and the serving sizes are very large. V9 Is the best soup I have ever tried. You can add chicken. They also offer option to add feta or cheddar. They have a Cranberry Chicken Salad is flavorful and a very nice sized Salad. The Tabouli is made fresh daily. They have a dessert case with many suggestions. I ate at Aladdin's the other day and it was ok. I was expecting better flavor and for the dolma to be more filled than it was. The shawarma was thicker than I expected. We took my grandmother here to celebrate her 89th birthday. This was the only restaurant she knew of that had vegan options to accommodate myself and my husband. They actually had over 30 vegan friendly options! The baba ghanoush was amazingly smoky and tasty. The hummus was light and airy and pairs well with the pita. The spicy cauliflower was the best loved dish at our table- so good, not hot but flavored really well. The lentil soup was not to my liking but my husband enjoyed it. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and cute. The dessert stand was impressive with the most massively sized cakes I have ever seen. I didn't care very much for this place. It's your typical strip mall restaurant with the typical view of the parking lot and a few Arabic do-dads here and there. The server brought our drinks and food then promptly forgot about us. Nothing unusual there, although refills might have been nice. What I usually like about places like this is the food. Unfortunately here it's just not that good. The large hummus could have been from Aldi. The portion didn't match the amount of pita brought to the table, and the pita was pretty stale, all crunchy and chewy. The beef kebob roll-up was pretty terrible. It's like they got their inspiration from a Taco Bell crunch wrap. The wrap was crunchy, I don't think there was much beef, and the whole thing was overwhelmed with mushrooms. I do like their hot sauce, but it's nothing like I was expecting (something like sirachi). Instead it's like Italian dressing with red pepper. read more

Nice dinner and great service. We had a large order and everything was good. My kofta pita was a little dry but I think I should have gotten the sauce they mentioned. Spicy Cauliflower was really good as well as the baba. They had forgotten to put in one of the orders. Someone named Will I think called to let us know they had forgotten to put it in. Unfortunately the curbside pick up is not clearly explained. Instead of wasting time on the phone trying to figure out where to park/what to do I went inside to retrieve my order; something I am completely uncomfortable doing at this time. Traveled in for business and this had solid reviews and was across the street. I ordered the carry out Aladdin Platter and it is spot on. I recommend the hot sauce option and a side of pita is a must with carry out! The hummus is super creamy, the fried cauliflower is amazing when dipped in their hot sauce, and the chicken is moist with great flavor alone but the hot sauce just kicks it up.
