    Garlic spinach feta pitza
    Pauline L.

Jack, our server Was fantastic! I gave him three options to surprise me and he chose the garlic spinach feta pitza. It didn't disappoint! The sour spinach was perfect with my red wine... which he pointed out. Everything else was as fantastic as always with alladin's!!

Came by here while I'm town because we were looking for somewhere that has some healthier options. We came around 6 so it wasn't too busy yet and were sat right away. Shortly after we were greeted by our server They had a wide variety of options and we ended up sharing the kibbie app and 2 entrees. Aladdin's favorite and the Mediterranean Lamb plate. The meat portions were a little small, but everything tasted yummy. Would recommend!

They have The Best Hummus and the serving sizes are very large. V9 Is the best soup I have ever tried. You can add chicken. They also offer option to add feta or cheddar. They have a Cranberry Chicken Salad is flavorful and a very nice sized Salad. The Tabouli is made fresh daily. They have a dessert case with many suggestions. We have tried several all yummy and delicious. The prices are reasonable and they have a very nice outdoor patio.

It's been sever years since I've been here. It's as delicious as I remember. No it's even better! They have so vegan options too. Even desserts! Our server Christa was all smiles and helpful with narrowing my options down. Their bathroom's are clean and the restaurant has lots of seating inside and outside. They've made want to visit Lebanon and eat my way around the Mediterranean.

We took my grandmother here to celebrate her 89th birthday. This was the only restaurant she knew of that had vegan options to accommodate myself and my husband. They actually had over 30 vegan friendly options! The baba ghanoush was amazingly smoky and tasty. The hummus was light and airy and pairs well with the pita. The spicy cauliflower was the best loved dish at our table- so good, not hot but flavored really well. The lentil soup was not to my liking but my husband enjoyed it. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and cute. The dessert stand was impressive with the most massively sized cakes I have ever seen. Will be returning next time we visit grandma!

My husband and son had the mixed grill (or as we call it: the indecisive special) so almost every meat was tried. It's was all good. Service wasn't great but they were short staffed with one or two people doing everything. The wait wasn't long though, once we ordered, so no worries there. Our waitress took our order, cooked the food and rung us up at the register. Saving this review for myself in case we ever do a road trip through Ohio again.

Its very chill to just sit in and eat. I have both times and there never is a lot of people who sit in during lunch so I get the personal experience of feeling like I am the only one there. They are so nice here. I also got the combo plate to get a little bit of everything. The chicken and beef are cooked so perfectly and tender. The rice is so soft and light. I wish that I could prepare something so good at my own house but then that defeats the purpose of coming here. I always get a Turkish coffee to finish off my meal. I leave full but not bloated or miserable like other meals or restaurants.

I'm glad to report that Jerusalem Food Imports (JFI) falls in the latter category. Hungry for Mediterranean food and having tried all the other local destinations, I gave JFI a try. Boy, am I glad I did. JFI is a specialty market with a kitchen on the left side with a full takeout menu. No space for seating, but I'm working from home, so I was just doing a buy and fly anyway. I was in a chicken shwarma mood, so I ordered one. If you can't tell by the picture, it is monstrous. It looked like they used about a pound of chicken when preparing it. Add in a side of fries (which I didn't know came with it and really didn't want) for $5.99, and you have enough for two meals unless you're extremely hungry. Ate half and saving the other for dinner. It's much tastier than comparable sandwiches (specifically Ghossain's), with the requisite picked veggies and tahini sauce. They also had a complete selection of meat pies, chicken pies and spinach pies. I picked up a spinach pie for $1.99 for later. I also picked up a pint sized tabbouleh for $5.99, where competitors charge $4.99 for 8 ounces. I did try some of it and it's very tasty and fresh. I look forward to trying some kibbeh and hummus next time. K'nafa practically next door is good too. But if you're looking for a lot of food at a tremendous value, give JFI a try. The gentlemen working there couldn't have been nicer, and even offered to include some water without asking. I hope to get the word out on this hidden gem. Give them a try if you like Mediterranean food.

We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!
