It looked like a college hangout, with a few tables and ample space to mill around and wait while being serenaded by Taylor Swift (the soundtrack of the night). I don't tolerate caffeine too well after a certain hour, so I was happy to see that they offered a decaf tea option in the form chamomile -- an unusual option at a boba shop. I got a hot chamomile tea with bubbles and half sugar. The bubbles were rather soft, even for a hot tea drink, and sweeter than I would've preferred, but it still hit the spot on a rainy fall night. If there were a next time, I would get 30% or no sugar added to offset the bubbles and the natural sweetness of the tea. The employees seemed nice, but I didn't interact with them much. The human-run register only accepted cash, so I ordered at the kiosk to use my card.

What do I want for Mother's Day? A trip to BouNom. My daughter's choice for birthday breakfast? BouNom. The fact that it is a bit of a hike for us is no deterrent whatsoever. If we know we are even remotely headed to that area, a suggestion of BouNom is always made and enthusiastically agreed upon. My personal recommendation would be the Cherry Vanilla Cream Cheese croissant. The portion so big that it takes me two days to finish.
