Decided to try this place out for my daughters first birthday. The cake was strawberry flavored with a whipped frosting. Everything my wife asked on this cake Jolene delivered and then some ! I live in Texas but my mom lives in the 413. It's during the coronavirus quarantine period and Mom was having her 70-somethingth birthday, so I wanted to find a local business near her that I could support. Thanks to great Yelp reviews and lovely photos on the web site, I chose Jolene's. A quick phone call to explain the situation, and I asked Jolene to help me choose a nice assortment. Jolene had them dropped off at Mom's home on her birthday, and Mom was absolutely thrilled. I don't think Mom can eat that much sweets, so my brothers will probably benefit from my generosity and Jolene's culinary and artistic skill. read more

Love the pastries from here great smells good unfortunately yesterday when I went into the shop and a construction worker came in to use the bathroom and the owner yelled NOO from the back she assumed it was myself and my friend when she came out we told her want us was a construction worker she asked if he was cute we said was a female she said oh she then asked if she was cute. It is just a little disturbing that a person that works for the city doing road work must've gone to multiple units in that plaza to establish if she could use the bathroom to then be declined. read more

Great custom cake and cupcakes for my 4 year olds birthday. Cakes were made on time, looked and tasted great. Jolene even stayed late after hours so we could pick up cakes before party on a day they were closed. Acceptable pricing. She's also doing another cake for one more party we are having, and special ordered a mold to accommodate our design. read more

I'm not a dessert guy, but WOW!!! Let me start by saying that I'm not normally into sweets or desserts. That said, I've had the unbelievable pleasure of having Joelene's cupcakes, cakes, cookies and more! All I can say is WOW!!! My family has some very special events happening this summer and I will go out of my way to get the cakes and cookies from Joelene! Not only BEAUTIFULLY done (and delicious) pastries and cakes but the customer service could not be better! Every time I go there I feel like her most important customer! By the way, the two negative reviews: One has written two reviews - both 1 star. The other has written one review - 1 star - the day after the first one. It's a shame that two obviously VERY negative people gang up on such a wonderful place. read more

Joelene and her team are wonderful. I first learned of her bakery when she held a cake decorating class. I not only learned some basic cake decorating skills I found my new favorite go to bakery. The cakes are delicious!!! The frosting is just right, and the shop is delightful. I've returned to her several times to purchase cake pops along with a tray of delicious bakery treats that is true to its name known as a crowed pleaser. I haven't had the opportunity to ask for a themed cake as of yet. But I'm 100 % sure I'll be asking her when I'm ready! read more

Don't go here! Asked them how much a small Peppa Pig cake would be and they really had the nerve to tell me $150 for a simple cake I could do myself in a day for like $20. Outrageously overpriced. Then when i left them a bad review about it on Facebook they got all mad and trying to start an argument with me about it. Got the same cake i asked them about from a different place and I'd cost me 1/3 the price. Totally unprofessional. Wouldn't try them, wouldn't recommend them.‍ read more
