There aren't a ton of other options nearby, so this place ultimately gets the job done.

Joy also sells pastries and such from small local bakeries. There isn't much seating yet inside but Joy has specific plans to grow the space over the course of this year. But the seating that is available is cut and comfortable. Unless she's at a festival, this is the only place to get Joy's beans. They don't sell them in any other shops and aren't likely to soon so if you're in the Brookies on the weekend (or check hours to see if she's extended to any days M-Th in the future) swing by and grab yourself a cup or some beans to go. And if you're friends with me, yes, I will deliver beans for you while I'm out visiting my mom.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a big welcoming smile. The inside walls and ceiling were covered with wood, creating that cozy homey feeling. There were lots of cute, funny decorations, and fluffy bear and spotted cow cuddly friends. On our first visit, we already had breakfast, so we were there for a coffee and a dessert. We were interested in their Coffee Flight, featuring all the ice cream flavors that they offer. How fun is that! The coffee float was a nice size, all pretty darn good, and yes, reminded me of ice cream for sure. We tried one of their baked goods, French Toast Muffin with warm buttery syrup (?) for additional $1. And I tell you, the additional $1 was totally worth it in my opinion, it was like a warm liquid of gold! Sweet, decadent, and comforting. We went back another day to get actual breakfast. We got large Mocha Cold Brew Coffee Float, and Raspberry Flavored Latte. When they say large, they are not joking. Those coffees were huge! They were a bit too sweet for me, now I know not to order large, and ask them to make it less sweet. For food, I got Sausage, Egg & Cheese on toasted bagel (additional $3). I also added the home fries for additional $4. Total came to be $15, a bit pricier than expected for a simple dish, but they were filling and satisfying. Their bagels are made daily, and have several different flavors. My hubby went with Two Eggs with Home Fries & French Toast. He changed the regular French Toast to S'mores French Toast for additional $3, making it around $18. It was a big breakfast, came in 2 separate plates. S'mores French Toast was fun, but extra sweet and decadent... The ladies who work here were as friendly and welcoming. They don't have gourmet dishes or drinks, and the price can get a bit high, but they sure give you the warm, sweet feeling. We have gone back a couple more times, and I am sure we will go back again.
