Good luck in the drivethru, theses assholes take their SWEEEEEET TIME, and will hang up on you.

Legends is a nice gimmicky restaurant. The service is pretty fair, and their burger's are tasty! Not to mention their seasoned fries are flavorful. A very relaxing food joint to just chill and view the past on the walls. read more

They are normally pretty good. Today was not so good. They forgot one item in my order. I guess I should have check before leaving. But with my previews experience, I never had a problem before. So I called before getting here so that they can start cooking it. They didn't do that until I got there. So I had to wait about 10 minutes. read more

This place is a classic. Good 50's diner to eat at. Always come here with my wife. She gets the salad every time. I get the burger or taco. Both very good. Fries are bomb too. read more

I come here all the time. It's a great place because of the variety, everyone can find something they want to eat and the quality is always great. The atmosphere is top notch read more

The kids that work there are super nice and polite! I was in there with my family today and I left my phone. They found it and kept it safe for me. We always love coming here because the employees are always friendly. Thank you for keeping my phone safe and it's nice to know your employees can be trusted. Make sure to tip these kids! They work hard all the time! read more

I had a tuna melt and really liked the sandwich. They put a lot of tuna on my sourdough bread. My sister liked there BLT.

Great food, burgers and wet burritos in the same place. Zucchini fries are huge and very tasty. Amazing Oreo shakes or chocolate banana. Really cool atmosphere and music read more

I absolutely love Legends I used to go with my friends and family every weekend when I was younger. I remember trying to count all the bottle caps on the walls and picking songs in the jukebox. I was so excited when I came in with my friends recently for the first time in a few years that it was exactly the same as I remember it. I still love there French fries and strawberry shakes. The pricing is not bad at all for the portion sizes. The overall atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out with your friends or family and I will definitely be going back more often again. read more

Super cute place. the food was great. The wait time was a little long but it was a busy day

I was really disappointed with this place. The restaurant looks great with all it's 50's memorabilia but would it hurt for the staff to show some enthusiam for their workplace. I was expecting to see poodle skirts or something. Also, the cashier who took my order (as well as every one else who worked there) looked like a bunch of brain dead trouts. No one smiled or greeted us when they took our order. The music on the juke box was barely noticeable. And don't get me started on the food. It nothing out of the ordinary and left us feeling ill afterward. We ordered burgers and the fish and chips and our stomachs are still protesting several hours later. If you are going to serve mediocre food at least the staff and ambiance should be excellent and memorable. I will never return to this restaurant as I can get burgers and fish and chips of equal quality at a local drive-thru restaurant. read more

We've seen Legends while cruising down Route sixty-six and acknowledged that the front was appealing enough to the eye to warren a visit but we had not eaten there until this weekend. It was the first truly autumnal day of the new season, a long awaited drizzle had moistened the city and we were in the mood for something new to match our excitement about the transformation. Legends was the selection and we were not disappointed. Their menu was standard, which was expected, and the food was of slightly above average quality (it's a hamburger joint). The staff was decent, not too sociable but not disrespectful. The location was clean with first-class décor and it was comfortable. I'd recommend the place if you want a decent meal and are searching for a slightly more pricey, better quality fast food experience. read more

This is one of the places my family and I come to after church on Sunday. I love it, that is why I keep coming back every Sunday! I recommend their break fast burritos, they are so large it is hard for me to finish a whole one. I am a huge bacon fan and when I get bacon in my breakfast burritos, they PACK it with bacon. read more

Kids meal chicken strips with fries and a coke. It's cheap and good and they don't charge you for extra ranch! I think I live here. :)

I live near Legends and I really like the Club Sandwich but sadly due to the rude staff and stupid mistakes as of late I will not return to eat here ever again. I normally do drive thru (beware, it's always slow) and today I ordered a Club Combo, Club, fries and a soda, (about 11 bucks but I like it). I collect my order and drove home. When I get home, I find that they didn't include my fries. I grab my phone to make them aware that I will be returning to get my missing fries. When I call a very rude girl answers and when I start explaining the situation she says in the rudest manner possible "We're really busy you should call back in an hour". I politely told her no, if you hadn't fu@ked up my order in the first place we wouldn't be talking, I'll be there in a few minutes to get my missing food. If I hadn't already started eating my Club, I would have returned the entire order and demanded my money back. 5 Years ago this place was awesome... I don't know what happened but the staff is a joke and they really need to fix it. read more

Great burgers, great environment. If you want real burgers and a nice dining experience, this is your place.

I love this place anytime anyone asks me where is a good place to eat I always recommend legends I love the environment the location and the service. The price range is really good worth the taste of food. I recommend the double bacon avocado cheese burger! On point . read more

I am not big on the 50's thing, but my guy looses his mind for this stuff. I have been here more times than I can count, but I never really thought anything of it. Then my guy wanted to stop here for a quick breakfast after a tough hike. Whoa!! It was awesome. The portions were large, the order was done up quick, and the taste was great!! It might be a simple order of french toast and eggs, but they got it right. Way right. Even the coffee was not bad. Suddenly I don't mind going to Legends. Try the breakfast. read more

I'm updating my review as I previously gave it 5 stars. I've been coming here for years. I've noticed changes in prices going up, but the meat patties seem thicker than before so I was fine with that. However, there have been staff changes and now the quality of the food has gone down. The bun for my burger seemed to be day old bread. Our sampler was cold and I had two onion rings that were burnt. If this had been my first visit, I'd never go back but since this is the first time the food was this badI'm hoping it was a one time deal. I included a pic of the burnt onion ring so you can see what passed as edible to them. read more

I loved going here for their sandwiches and ice cream but this last experience was horrible. Service has gone downhill. Nobody was in the drive thru so I placed my order and drove to the window. I only got half my order and didn't get the drinks or ice cream I ordered which was just plain vanilla ice cream with nothing on it and mind you it's a hot day with my dog in the car with his little seatbelt on. The hot food I ordered came out first from another guy other than the lady running the drive thru and he goes oh did u get your drink?? I told him no I didn't get either one of my drinks or the ice cream I ordered. He said be right back. I wait another 10 min then the lady and the drive thru tells me to pull to the side so she can keep her line moving. So I do and I end up waiting another 10 min before they finally bring my 2 drinks and my 1 plain scoop of vanilla ice cream that doesn't even have a lid. The carriers are awful as well. After attempting to drive home the two holder carrier I had on the floor spilled over so I now only have half full drinks after waiting 30 mins total at a drive thru window. Oh and I have no napkins or ketchup in the bags!!! I shouldn't have had to wait 30 mins for a simple order that now my food is cold from waiting on the drinks. read more

Good service, excellent food, plus you can't beat the fresh jalapeños and carrots they have

Food is hit or miss here. A little over priced for the quality of food. The drive thru takes forever by the way, but I recommend their chicken salad it's really good and tastes fresh most of the time. read more

I called in an order today since I didn't want to wait around for the food and we were terribly busy at my workplace. A girl picks up and I place my coworker's and my order. Just after I tell her what we want, I mention that I would like those orders to be on separate checks when I pick up. This girl proceeded to RUDELY yell at me over the phone and tell me that I should have told her before. I'm sorry but I've always told employees at every other restaurant after I've ordered my items. She then goes on to tell me how hard it is for her to change it and that when I come in they'll have to change it for me. What if I wanted to change my whole order up? What if I decided on something else? It's not that hard to erase an order and re-type it in. We ordered two basic burger combos and nothing else. Then when my coworker went in to pick it up, she apparently made a big deal out of it and "called over her manager" who was quite unprofessional in handling it too. Maybe they should ask if we want separate checks in the beginning for a bigger order? Or tell us in the beginning to let them know? Anyway after that our moods were just killed and even though the food is good, we're rethinking of coming back due to poor customer service. read more

Legends Classic Diner is by far the biggest 50's diner I have ever been too. It doesn't look all that much from the outside but you will start feeling the era once you walk in. The food is descent, portions are good and prices are fair. Sadly, I felt the customer service was a bummer. Definitely professional and very good at keeping the place clean and items stocked but every employee I encountered seemed to almost be "out of it." It really brought the mood down. I would suggest to management to boost morale however they can and to take the extra step to fully bring out the 50's vibe. Legends has the tools in place to really make this place one of a kind and hopefully they will do so because it's not often you see hard working employees that also seem to not enjoy what they do (at least, that was my impression). Overall, Legends is a descent place to eat and I'd recommend trying it out for yourself if you're in the area. read more

Food is good , but drive thru wait was long . And my combo came with very little fries was disappointed

Boo! My family and I have come here more times than I can count and it's the site of my husband's and my first date, and the place we had lunch when we decided to get married. So naturally, I want to like this place- it's nostalgic in more ways than one. But just... It's not good. The salads aren't good (pickles don't go on EVERYTHING, people.) The "south of the border" menu is abhorrent and today, when I asked to supplement a turkey patty on the caliente burger, I was told they "can't." You can't?! I said "really? They've done it before." And the woman replies "my manager said we just can't." ...wtf? Why?! It literally is a matter of putting a different kind of meat on a burger. If it's a price thing, I'll pay the difference! But obviously the management here does not care about pleasing the customer, even with very simple requests. Then, after picking up my order, and driving all the way home to Pomona, I noticed that they left out my son's chicken strip-THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR. My husband had to make eggs for our son while our food got cold, because I made the mistake of assuming that people who can't figure out how to put turkey instead of beef on a bun could be trusted to give me all of the items I paid for. read more

Brought my brother here tonight to experience a fun oldtime 50s/60s diner. He is on vacation from Alabama. It was a huge disappointment. I had just a BLT, which was packed with bacon and pretty good although the bacon was somewhat overcooked. My brother had a cheeseburger (with fries) that was awful. The patty was overcooked on one side and was the thinnest burger I've ever seen. The slice of tomato was literally thicker than the meat patty! The cheese never melted, which tells me the patty was cold when the cheese was added. All in all, an awful meal for him. My brother also wanted to buy one of the Legend's collared shirts but the only one they had was a huge size 2x. We were told the rest of the supply was locked in the office and only the manager had the key and he was not there. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've personally been given this same story when I've been there. What kind of way is that to run a business? Someone should have access to the shirt supply at all times. I have been coming to Legends for years but will not be back again after this disappointing and embarrassing experience. read more

Food is good SERVICE however is HORRIBLE! I've been going for about 6 years and the ONLY reason I return is because of their food. If you call in to order 30 minutes before closing they refuse to take an order and when asked why, they didn't have a straight answer and said "Sorry Bob" to my husband. They've always seemed to be annoyed when you order something with restrictions "cheeseburger with lettuce and cheese only"(for my child) and when they don't get it correct and i have notice they have ALWAYS given me attitude and roll their eyes. I complained once and when I returned ALL of the cooks turned and would stare at me and my family. . It's sad to see such a great place be ruined by their employees service. read more

A fun place to take the kids cause it's open and big and there's lots of outside tables. Food is ok but nothing great. In fact I had a breakfast burrito there that was about 5.00 for egg and potatoes and cheese and it is definitely big...but guess I didn't read the overhead menu well (it's kind of difficult to read all the details when you are standing in line with people pacing behind you) so I said with bacon...and little did I know that it would cost almost 3.00 more for that little bit of raw bacon! The eggs were burned, very brown, and it had sausage links cut up, very burned that were unchewable and bacon that was barely cooked and impossible to chew! They have salsa over with the drinks but then one has to open us this very large, very dry breakfast burrito to add the salsa which is a mess since you don't get a plate. Driest burrito ever! VERY disappointing. Better breakfast burritos off the lunch trucks for less than half the price! Live and learn. However, their avocado salad or sandwich is wonderful. read more

Ugh. I wanted to badly to like this place because it's near work and being from NJ, I can't get enough of diners. The decor is really 'neat' and there are a lot of options on the menu but I stuck with the classic hamburger and was quite disappointed. I didn't feel like I got the best deal for my money and the burger was just like any burger I've had. I don't even think I finished it to be honest, but the fries were great. Kinda like Red Robin fries with Season All salt. My coworkers opted with onion rings instead and they were really excited about them. I also had a vegetarian friend come a long and she ordered the avacodo sandwich which was LOADED with avacodos, but they were black. Gross...Additionally, the waitress came over to our table with a basket and said 'pastrami sandwich anyone?' or whatever and when we told her we didn't order one she said 'well the number is here so its yours' - dropped it and walked away. WTF? Come to find out that it was ours, but she named the dish incorrectly so we didn't know it was ours. How rude. Will NOT be coming back here ever again unless my car breaks down and I have to walk Route66 alone, and every other restaurant is shut down or has been blown up. read more

Don't get your hopes up on your order being correct. They've screwed up our order the last four times we've come here. So this time I decided to call the manager and let them know. She explained to me that they have people that are new (6 weeks new) at no point did she apologize or offer anything to compensate. When I asked if she would she said she'd give me 5% off our next order. I thought she was joking. When I told her that I was offended by that and that she could possibly lose customers that have been coming here a long time she seemed completely uninterested. We'll never come back. read more

I liked this place a lot! As far as hamburgers go, they make a very tasty burger. The pastrami chili fires are amazing. The onion rings are delicious. The décor is a really cool, classic 50s look. Customer service seemed just fine to me. If you want somebody to kiss your ass, go to your mother's house. Some of these reviews are ridiculous. Jesus! read more

CHILI LOVERS BEWARE: They thicken their chili NOT with meat, but with Italian breadcrumbs--probably from Costco. I ordered their chili cheese fries today and immediately recognized the taste and texture--VERY UNPLEASANT. Replacing meat with breadcrumbs is no way to cut costs, but it's a great way to lose customers. read more

Legends makes a real mean carne asada taco. Take your pick, chicken or beef. You can ask for fish to. always great..!!

Just tried Legends. We hadn't tried it before but used the drive-thru on a Wednesday night. I ordered the onion rings, avocado burger, and iced tea combo. We also tried the kids meal chicken strips, iced tea, fries, junior cheeseburger, and small Neapolitan shake. My onion rings were tasteless and the batter was mushy. My avocado burger was okay. The tomato was nowhere near ripe, and colorless. The shake was okay. The junior cheeseburger had a hard, dry bun, and weird seasoning on the meat. The chicken strips were quite pale but seemed to be better than the other items. The two iced teas were brown water and utterly tasteless. As the gal handed our food to my daughter, she almost hit her in the face with it and a perfunctory off-hand "have a nice day" even though it was hecka dark out. The food wasn't worth the calories. My daughter said she'll try the chicken strips again which was an unexpected larger portion than kid-sized. Very disappointed. We paid good money for a bad meal. read more

If you want fast food that's a step up from the usual crap, this is the place to go. I've been a fan of the stores in Upland/Rancho Cucamonga (can never remember) and am stoked that they finally put one in my home town. The food is pretty good, I've never had any complaints. I always get the bacon avocado cheeseburger with a small sampler (onion rings, zucchini fries, french fries, and fried mushrooms) to split with friends and am never disappointed. Sure, their grill isn't as seasoned as the other two, but LEgends hasn't been open that long (four or five years I think). The drive through does take a little while, but they're making your food fresh so it's worth the wait. Their menu is huge and spans from good, ole All-American 50s diner food to Mexican and salads; there's something for everyone! It is a bit more expensive than your typical fast food restaurant but isn't a problem unless you're eating there every day. I love Legends and love to take friends from out of town here! Everyone I've gone with loves it!!! read more

Not too cheap, the food is good and they have huge portions. The fried mushroom and fried zuchini are the bomb!
