As soon as you walk through the doors you're bombarded with nostalgic memorabilia from the early days. Whether it be posters and license plates on the walls or their sofa that is actually the rear end of a classic car. Definetly a nice setting. Onto the food. I ordered their 1/3lb burger with a side order of small fries. Keep in mind the order of small fries could feed for two! It's not your local McDonald's dinky small sized fries. Their food tasted like any other burger joint though. Nothing special to it. Just great portions for the price. My burger and fries came out to be $6.98 (tax included). If you have a classsic car that you want to showcase or know anyone who does, they have a car show/meet every first Sunday. Probably a great way to meet local car enthusiasts while enjoying a good meal. read more

Legends Classic Diner - 1/3lb hamburger with a side of small fries - American Near Me - Glendora, California

First of all, no one answered the phone when I tried to call in an order, then when I ordered online I got charged a convenience fee of $1.50. Shouldn't I be told first if there's a convenience fee before checking out?? If the fee is for having an employee to bring my order out, then that's not it either because the system told me to go inside to pick up my order because they're short staffed. What in the world! read more

This has been our second home for several years now. Great choices, and since losing weight is a recent lifestyle change, salads are most frequently my go to. I am a big fan of the number 10 carne asada taco combo. Like many places, you must ask for a straw. My wife almost always gets a kids meal combo and takes home leftovers. One exception to all these happy thoughts. I do not go on the first Sunday of the month, as the "car show" takes over every parking spot. read more

Just wrote a bad review for Rancho location that I visited last night. Felt like I lost a best friend, but after reading that there is a Legends in Glendora, I am SUPER EXCITED!! We live in Rancho but I am willing to drive there for those delicious chicken strips and ranch dressing! I loved all Legends food and I will be going there. You made my day. THANK YOU!!! read more

So our story starts out in Upland, where we had patronized that Legends for 23 years until recently, when everything there has changed for the worse. Our youngest daughter goes to college in Kentucky, and whenever she comes back the first stop on the way home has always been (Upland) Legends, for a chicken strips meal and chocolate shake. When she arrived on 11/23 we made our usual stop and found everything different...the shakes were not real ice cream nor were they chocolate at all, the fries and chicken were completely different and much less quantity, and the ranch dressing was some prepackaged stuff not at all like the ranch we've loved all these years. The staff defended their so-called chocolate shakes, saying the new blender made them that way and more syrup could be added if desired. There was literally no chocolate ice cream in them! They were white as snow! We then saw all the reviews that indicated that both the Upland and Rancho locations had undergone some major changes and had steered away from the things that made their brand so special. Many disappointed people including us. Today, we decided to try the Glendora Legends seeing that the reviews did not mention the same changes listed in the other locations, hoping that our daughter could enjoy some great Legends before she gets back on the plane to Kentucky tomorrow morning. We were not disappointed and absolutely thrilled to have awesome Legends food and shakes that we had apparently taken for granted. We had a junior burger meal, breakfast burrito and 2 chocolate shakes. Everything tasted perfect! The staff was friendly and working very hard and it was also very clean. I want to thank the management here for not changing things like the other 2 locations...and giving us the great Legends experience we are used to. Well worth the extra 10-15 minutes drive to have the quality you expect. We will be back! read more

Super cute dinner with greatly priced food. The burgers are great and large. There is also plenty of outside sitting with no inside dinning offered during COVID. read more

They say they offer curbside online and even when online ordering, but they don't. Drive thru closed despite being able to be open and refused to do curbside pick up. When feeding a Family of 5, expect for your bill to be close to $75. Over priced and NO customer service. Place is a joke, oh and don't use your card here. Family members have had their cards stolen and used and traced back to this exact location. Grand Burger or Angelos is better. read more

so disappointed with the manager here, I ordered #9 chicken strip combo w fries & salad. i asked to substitute the salad and the cashier said I could do onion rings. I received my food with chicken strips and onion rings w no fries. I kindly went up to the register to let them know I didn't receive my fries and I was charged for onion rings. they said onion rings were an extra charge and not a free substitute which I was not told! they wanted me to bring back the onion rings when I already ate half after looking at the receipt. I let the manager know and she said she needed all of them back to throw them away to get a refund. she started being rude and making smart comments which I returned the same energy. needless to say I refunded my whole meal. will never be coming back! not sure of the managers name but she was short with a bun and mask on 3/25 at 11:30 am. so dissatisfied with service here over $2.95 onion rings. do better manage read more

Use to go here in high school and always loved it. Moved back after 14? Years (ew I just aged myself like crazy) and it's still delicious. A million times better than the one in Rancho and it seems cheaper even. I usually order on door dash (because I'm lazy and the lines are insane) and my order is a bit complicated and they get it right every times and it's delicious. You can beat their home made chips (which the Rancho location doesn't even offer) read more

Stopped by after church on a very hot Sunday. Food was good and almost too much. But the young girl at the register was so refreshing. It was nice to see a young person being helpful and making our experience nice. Thank you Lilly. read more

The girl staff is intolerable. Me and my boyfriend have come twice in the past two weeks. We have interacted with three different girls and 2/3 were AWFUL! The first time they messed up our order and I asked for the girl to fix it and she gave me a dirty look then when she served it we said thank you and she scoffed at us. Then today (11/9/18) we ordered and I ordered a combo and she gave me a kids meal! We specifically wanted the combo which comes with a salad. Usually cashiers ask the combo or the kids meal and we can choose but she didn't so we told her the combo but she switched it. I'm just highly disappointed and really upset at this place now because it really has gone down in the hiring area and workers just don't know how to do their job or be nice. The guy who just sits at the front but doesn't take orders or help or anything he just looks at the counter so he doesn't make eye contact with customers so they don't approach him. Not to mention that makes the line longer (and she doesn't get the orders right) oh well. The reason I'm upset about the whole salad is because this place's food is actually good so it's great quality food side the price but workers need to get it together. This is how they want represent their business. It's a great place, but they make it crappy. read more

We have given this place a few chances because locals like it for the nostalgia factor but I'm sorry we just can't return. The food here is about quantity over quality. The burgers are grisly and fatty. The breakfast burritos have lots of unmelted cheese. The bacon is mostly fat. For the money that they charge, the food needs to be better. We spent so much of our meal swatting away flies while we sat inside. Not a pleasant experience. read more

Came here just for shakes. Was really in the mood for some. Ordered ahead online. When I went to the counter to pick up my order, staff was rude and unresponsive. She didn't greet me or say anything to me other than "what do you need". When I showed her my order on the phone, she just walked away without a word. I stood around for 5 minutes and nobody else offered to help me, and she eventually just slammed my shakes on the counter when I wasn't looking and left them there. Unbelievable. The shakes weren't even thick. What is this? read more

Interesting interior decoration. They have a lot of 50s memorabilia. Lots of seating. Easy parking. I got the double burger combo. Fries are well seasoned and crunchy enough. The soda cup is on the small side. It's like the small size from mcdonalds. The burger bun is not toasted. The meat is grilled perfectly. Cheese is melted. you get a big piece of lettuce, tomato, pickes and onion. Standard condiments. You get the option of choosing but you can get all of the condiments. They have a thousand island ranch dressing sauce that tastes pretty close to mcdonalds big mac sauce. The line is kind of long since they only have 2 cashiers. Bathrooms are pretty clean. So all in all if you're in the area and want a burger this place is a good place to try. They even have mexican entrees and breakfast items. read more

I went to the ice cream guy at the bar, let me tell you, legendary guy. I think Jack was the name. Ice cream and milkshake had pristine flavor and craftsmanship. I was impressed. read more

It was my first time here with my daughter and husband. It was very family friendly (I have an 8 month old) and we absolutely loved it. Staff is very friendly and food is delicious! read more

This post is solely based on the drive thru employees no one in particular just a consistent problem. My husband has gone through the drive thru numerous occasions and has requested NOT to have the tomato "salsa" with our order of taquitos and burrito. He requested to have the spicy salsa ONLY and NOT the tomato and tonight this evening we got ZERO spicy salsa and just the tomato based NON spicy salsa thats not good at all. It has ZERO flavor. I don't understand how the person working the drive through window didn't hear, not one time not two times but NUMEROUS times. Please listen to your drive thru guests and their needs. We are paying for what we want not what we get, I honestly feel our meal was RUINED without the salsa he requested. read more

Good food, great ambience. I like it. Highlight recommends if you like burgers and milk shakes

We love this place! Great food and fun atmosphere! Been going here for years! :) No complains

First time here and it definitely is a huge classic old school diner. Ordered the mess burrito which was ginormous! The turkey avocado sandwich my wife ordered was delicious also. We shared a large order of their fries, which was nicely seasoned. Could not finish and had to take it home. Price is good for the amount of food we got. Will return and try their burgers! read more

We've wanted to eat at Legends ever since we moved to the area. It just looks like an awesome portal through time. With the added bonus of being on Route 66, it HAS to be good, right?? Well, we walked in and immediately commented to each other on how big this place is. Not quite the intimate diner setting of the '50s and '60s we'd imagined. High ceilings and about 40 feet between the front door and the counter with NOTHING in between. The walls were a giant art piece equipped with props from that era, but by the time you notice it, you've already been taken out of the mindset--even despite the historically appropriate, and enjoyable, music in the background. As for the food, my fiancee ordered the chicken fingers ($9 for the combo), which were terrible. They tasted like they had been frozen for 2 weeks prior to cooking. But this is the lack of creativity that's common here at Legends Classic Diner. The salad comes with Hidden Valley dressing and the BBQ sauce is merely packets of Bullseye. I had the 2/3 lb Double Cheeseburger with Bacon (about $8). It was somewhat enjoyable and actually didn't taste cheap. But by itself it had no character and wasn't worth the price. Nothing here was. The only highlight from the meal was the fries, which were pretty impressive to say the least. However, not worth wasting a date night coming here. My suggestion if you want a cool '50s-style diner is heading over to Richie's in Rancho Cucamonga. It's much more true to theme and has WAY better food (and amazing BBQ sauce!). As for Legends--been there, done that. read more

Love this place, food is yummy, dank eats!! There seating area has a lot of options and is very clean!!

Today three of us enjoyed our lunch of Greek salad, tuna salad , and chicken breast salad. The pictures speak for themselves. We added fries and bill was $30 read more

Went to Legends this week. Ordered an asada taco. Was given an asada burrito. I told the manager I was given wrong food. He was very rude to me. He said " it's what we made, we are not going to change it, ". He would not give me a asada taco which is what I ordered. Have been going to this location for years. Will not be going back and I will not recommend it to anyone. read more

With Covid, I really miss going to Legends and getting a large salad and fries or zucchini. Anytime my family comes to CA they want to go as well, as well as In and Out. Now with Covid they have long drive through lines, but it goes fairly fast. Legends is our cheat day. I like their burritos and club sandwiches. My wife cheats with a bacon avacado cheeseburger. Either way, leave a tip for the employees. They do a great job I hope to sit down there some day. read more

Best shakes around!! If you're ever in need of a sweet treat, this is the place to go for a great shake! Love their strawberry shake, it's delectable!! Thanks Legends!! read more

Been going here for years and today was they refused to make my nephews quesadilla with corn tortilla... he has celiac disease and they have always made it this way. The manager was rude and unwilling to make an exceptions Citing they are busy and didn't care that it's an allergy and no just a convience. Yet they are always busy and it's never been an issue! Others in our group already ordered and they refused to refund our orders so we could go eat somewhere else! So sad cause we won't be back!! read more

This is a long overdue review. I have to say that Legends has been our go to for the past 14 years. We eat there once a week it seems. My favorite is the chicken burrito with jalapenos and wife likes the chicken breast salad. You just can't get the same consistency, value, and quality from any other restaurants in the area. Keep up the good work guys! read more

The prices are pretty good, Especially for the portions I got the small zucchinis in the small french fries and it was more than enough food for Junior cheeseburger was very delicious I was a little turned off because it doesn't look too good in the pictures or in person but it's really good. I haven't been here in a third five years but it's just like I remember maybe even better 10/10 recommend the ambience is also really nice. They play 50/60's music. Great place for familys or a quick date. read more

Just ordered through DoorDash and my order was cancelled! The restaurant stated that they don't accept DoorDash orders after 9PM but my order was accepted at 740PM! I have email confirmation! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Open on New Year's Day brought my parents, sister and I to this 50s inspired burger joint. The decorations are really cute I must admit. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. It's a self seated establishment. Wasn't impressed with the cleanliness and lack of ice in the soda dispenser especially since it was not busy. I ordered the tuna melt on sour dough which was okay. It was barely warm. My dad had the pastrami and was not too impressed either. The Oreo milkshake was amazing though. Not too sweet which may come as a surprise. read more

Great food and friendly and courteous staff. The salads are great and the burgers are awesome

I used to come here all the time. Im sorry Legends i will not be back anymore. I am a local and been coming here for years! The reason is because your staff customer service has gone down. The last three times I came same thing -they're not attentive .they say things that they're not very nice like "ugh what would you like to add now? Where are all these people coming from ? We cant give you a side of this because its not allowed" Fix your staff. Or train people who have customer service . My food was bad because it was like a game of telephone , the lady kept messing my orders up and i also had to pay more. Alot of eye rolling much? It made me feel bad and incompetent even though it was not my fault. And i wanted to write a review about the last three times but i figured we are human and everyone is not perfect so i shrugged it off to give this spot another chance . So this is my conclusion , my final review. I will not be coming back due to the customer service and staff not paying attention, along with the back talk and attitude . This is disheartening for me to write because I'm a very positive person but Legends you need to really talk to your staff they create a bad vibe. read more

Besides the price this is one of my favorite places to eat, I don't think I've ever had anything that wasn't good from legends. Their burgers are always juicy their food is always made fresh the atmosphere is fun and inviting the ranch is really good their zichinni fries are good ugh everything here is really really good read more

I love this place !! They provide such vintage feel , and the food is great , the chicken burrito is my favorite as well as the patty melt. Def a must try read more

I didn't want to write a review, but just waited 34 minutes for a hotdog, burrito and zucchini fries. They finally came to the window and said they lost the order, asked us to pull up and wait longer, said we just wanted a refund and that took 5 minutes to get. We were the second car in line, so they were not slammed. Didn't seem to care we wasted over half an hour, that was the worst part. THe drive through always takes forever, but this took the cake. read more

Great atmosphere, a ton of selection. Everything looked clean, large dining area, helpful staff.

Recently discovered this place on the way home. Great food wonderful service. Will come back.

Worse customer service ever. Walked in with a fairly large group to order and one of waitresses walk by and says out loud, "ugh where did all these people come from?" Like honestly if you're going to talk shit, please do it discreetly and not out loud in front of customers. I was so shocked to hear that. Then later when that same waitress and one other waitress came to give us our food, they did not smile and kind of just threw our food down and snatched the numbers back. When one of my friends asked the first rude waitress for extra sauce, she was hesitant and seemed so annoyed. When asked a question she would answer all pissed and can't even face us when answering. honestly it blows my mind how people like these two waitresses can get hired. Also, their food is mediocre. My friends and I felt gross after eating. read more

Happened to pass through. Great and clean settings. Reasonable prices. Loved the tuna melt I ordered.
