So I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago. Tracy was my lash technician ‍. She brought me in and i showed her picture of how i wanted them and said she was able to do it. So that was good. I've been going to Legacy Lash Lounge for eyelash extensions ever since they first opened in late January. However, I've been a client of Winnie's and Chelsea's since last August when they were both working at another establishment. At first, I was hesitant to get my lashes done because I've heard that you lose or damage your real lashes. But that's not the case at all! It honestly all depends on how you take care of them. I've had to train myself to stop rubbing my eyes and that's decreases the amount of lashes I lose. They just fall of on their own. It also helps that Winnie and Chelsea have many years of experience and pay close attention to detail when applying the lashes. What I love about them is that they actually listen to what you want. If you want something natural, you got it. More volume? No problem! I'm always switching things up, and Winnie and Chelsea are super accommodating. My sister loved them so much that I got her a gift certificate for Christmas last year. She's also become a regular since then. I usually get my lashes done by Winnie and my sister gets hers done by Chelsea. Both are great artists! So, no need to feel torn on who to go to if it's your first time. I honestly get compliments wherever I go. As I'm sitting here and writing this review at a laundromat, the woman next to me just asked where I get my lashes done at. She said that they look so pretty and natural (which is what I was aiming for). After your appointment, Tai, who mans the front desk, gives you a cute mesh bag with eyelash spoolies to keep your lashes on point and a business card with your appointment information on it. Remembering that I had the card in my car, I went back to get the card to give to this woman. Why did I do this, you ask? Well, you get $20 off your service for each person you refer! I think it's $20... don't quote me on that. Although Legacy Lash Lounge specializes in eyelash extensions, they also offer many other services. I've gotten my brows, upper lip and underarms waxed by Winnie. They also do bikini and Brazilian wax but I haven't done those yet. The wax they use is high quality and barely even hurts! It's the wax that doesn't need the little cloth strips. Winnie lets it dry for a minute and then removes the hair. Hmm, am I forgetting anything...? Oh! If you plan on getting your lashes done on a regular basis, I highly recommend buying their membership package to save $$$ in the long run. Also, they have lots of beverages, candy and chips in the waiting area. That's always a plus, haha. Also, the bed you lie on also has massaging capabilities. I knock out every single time! I don't know how I really feel about this place. My first time getting my lash done was Oct 4th. Winnie was my lash tech, super nice and welcoming. Let's get straight to the point. My first experience, my left eye was bothering me so much.. it was irritated and super itchy. IT WAS UNBEARABLE. In less than a week, half of my lashes were missing but my right eye seemed to be normal. I right away asked to get them removed but she insisted to to remove some (making it lighter) and try a different glue. I read online if the lash is itching or irritating.. the lash must've been too heavy and pulling on my natural lash. This way it could've ruined my natural lash. Ouch! Winnie gave me an itch cream to use once a day but that didn't work. I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to go somewhere else to get it removed. I gave it another chance, I booked an appt on Oct 24th. Exactly today is one week, and I still see that my left is missing a lot. It feels less irritated than before but some of the lashes are still poking me So my reason for three stars is, great customer service & Winnie is super sweet and accommodating. Funny story how I found this place......I was on a road trip from Alaska, had family photos coming up and needed a fill.....badly!
