serious drop off in quality. The staff are always nice and I want to support a small business- especially with the Einstein's across the street that just opened up. But the most recent trips have been disappointing. Tastes like they've cut costs on ingredients. Couldn't even finish my BE&C because the cheese(?) was so off-putting. I hope they can pivot because I'd hate to lose this nice weekend treat. read more

So, people working there are nice. But I have been going there too long. Every time we order bagels WELL DONE...they never do it. Even if you say, toast it twice or until it's black...they don't do it. I don't understand it. So, I'm finally done. Moving on to Einstein. read more

Almost perfectly average. Good but not great, tolerable but never something I would go out of the way for. If you just want a bagel, you'll be plenty happy. If you want top notch bagels, this won't be the solution. read more

I stopped by legacy Bagels this morning, and I was greeted with good mornings and how are yous. I only got a cup of coffee, which was very delicious and cheap for the amount I received. They were fast, and diligent working behind the counter. I highly recommend anyone looking for a quick bagel with schmear, or a nice cup of joe. read more

Legacy Bagels - Cup of coffee. - Bagels Near Me - Prosper, Texas

Omg our jaws hurt so much after eating one bagel. Up here, the only real bagel options are Legacy Bagels, Einstein's, and Bagel Fresh Deli in The Colony. This is our least favorite. Bagel Fresh Deli was great before they switched owners. If you told me the plain bagel was a whole wheat bagel, I would believe you. The cinnamon sugar was nice because it's on the top and bottom unlike some places that only have it on top. Both were just hard as hell to chew. We both gave up after eating 3/4 of the bagel. Their bagels are also much more expensive here. Bagel Fresh Deli is $1.69 and Legacy Bagels is $2.29 for a plain bagel. Their drive thru seemed really efficient and they were on it getting cars through. The girl working the cash register with short brown hair was doing a great job as well. It's SUPER loud inside when the bagel cutting gets going so if you're going to work inside, bring noise canceling headphones. There's outlets at the bar seating, which is nice. On another note, we were dining inside along with another gentleman and about 4-5 patrons were waiting for their to-go orders. I noticed an older gentleman, I assume the owner, came out to wipe tables and asked the other patron how his visit was, greeted the to-go patrons and completely ignored us. Maybe he doesn't like our "type". There's also a Bible verse inscribed on their door. I can't remember what it said, but hence why they're closed on Sundays. read more

We really wanted to love this place. We need bagels up here. But we were not impressed. Almost none of the employees were wearing masks, which is weird given the virus and the fact they are preparing food. The girl at the cash register wasn't friendly. The bagels were a little tough and they tasted a bit bland. Maybe we will give them another try in a few months. The place was clean and new. The honey almond spread was good. read more

Bagels aren't bad. They have a crust and They're soft but not really that chewy. While the coffee is decent it somehow managed to bleed through the cup. They're definitely over priced in my opinion I've never seen everything bagels cost more than any other standard bagel like plain or garlic etc... a dozen bagels also cost more here than back in New York at all bagel stores. Masks are worn by NO employees. Overall I won't be back unless the prices change. read more

Definitely 5 stars and finally someone with a salt bagel! The bagels are delicious, staff is friendly and the store is clean. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. read more

Best bagels around us!' We literally drive 30 minutes just for these bagels. The owners are super sweet and it's nice that they even have a drive thru when our baby is sleeping read more

We don't have any great bagel places around us in Frisco so we took an 11 minute drive to try this place out! Love the family-owned atmosphere. The staff knows a lot of the people that walk in. Staff is attentive and we ate inside and it wasn't noisy or boisterous. I don't know why people are complaining about the pricing...if you wanna go to a McDonald's for $1 less, there's your price point. Pricing for the bagels and bagel sandwiches seems pretty normal to me for fresh baked bagels. We ordered the Lox and cream cheese and the el bandito! They were yummy and filling. We are glad to have found a small business we can support besides Einstein's (where they can never seem to get our order right). read more

Glad to have a local bagel joint that is family owned! The staff were super friendly and the service was on par. The bagels? Pretty good! If you want quality ingredients, you have to pay a bit more. If you want "Texas" bagels, go to the other mass produced places. If you want bagels like they should be (soft on the inside, just a bit of chewiness), go here! Keep up the good work! read more

Good Bagels, but their prices are Ridiculous. Come on. $3.29 for a poppy bagel?!!! Its only dough. Better (and cheaper) alternative now available in Prosper. read more

The bagels are so good and creamy.i think they make really good creammmmmm cheessssssss i like the plain bagel but some people like others which I think is total weirdness the plain is the way to go.. read more

If the only comparison that you are using against these bagels is Einstein or lenders, you do not deserve to experience the deliciousness that is Legacy bagels.. I have tried the chocolate chip bagel and their bacon cheddar bagel. Both are absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to come back and try even more. The drive-through is a bonus for convenience. Crunchy outside and chewy inside these bagels are perfection read more

I am a breakfast fanatic and I absolutely love breakfast sandwich. I am always looking for new spots to try out that will satisfy my cravings. This place did just that. I will definitely be back. read more

My kids are so excited when I say they can go to Legacy Bagels, it's so tasty and the staff is nice to you! It's for sure the best bagel place in town. Very generous with the delicious chocolate chip spread! Definitely recommend this place! read more

Good selection available and all tasted great. Sandwiches were nice as well, but every one I've eaten was a little sparse on meat. Especially the salmon. read more

Drive thru service sucked (bold, italics, underline) - Sorry if you're having a bad day but don't reflect that bad attitude onto customers. Homegirl needed a snickers... The drive thru time was 7 minutes for a toasted bagel and coffee - and I was the only person in the drive thru.. Got a cinnamon raisin bagel - which was pretty at first and then got really tough after about 2 minutes. I'm really just bothered by the service honestly. Made me never want to go back. I was really looking forward to this place when I saw it opened... I just personally don't like dealing with bad vibes and negative attitudes so I'm just going back to not eating breakfast. I will say it smells really really (bold, italics, underline) good in there. read more

Excellent, tasty bagels, but be sure to check your order -- even simple orders get messed up.

My favorite bagels ever. Live in mckinney, but will always go out of my way to get legacy bagels! The Asiago or cinnamon sugar are the best

Good but not very tasty like other bagels. Their cream cheese is whipped. We ordered honey almond and they gave us plain.

With gas almost a $5 a gallon, my usual trek to Plano for rainbow bagels is on hold (tears). I thought I'd try Legacy, hoping for some semi authentic NY bagels. (No one beats Cafe 21 in Plano, btw!) The lukewarm reviews almost deterred me, but a soft, bready bagel from the grocery store wasn't gonna cut it for my fancy, expensive Farmers Market cream cheese (shout out to Full Quiver Farms... so good. Garlic basil cream cheese). The reviews for the non existent, terrible service are spot on. They were semi busy but good lord, the boy at the register was terrible. I get it, teenagers are teenagers but gah, c'mon. What should have been a 5-10 minute in and out took more than 20 minutes. For two bagels. Not toasted, or even sliced. Just two bagels plain to go. Sigh. I almost left after ordering, then watching the kid take another order, When he could've just thrown my two freaking bagels in a bag and sent me on my way. I also witnessed the order in front of me have every single one of her bagels incorrect. I had already driven all the way down here and waited this long so I held out. I got a cheddar bacon bagel and an onion bagel. They were pretty decent, not nearly as chewy as an authentic New York bagel but not necessarily like a roll from the grocery store. Meh. They were fine and did their purpose. A vessel for that yummy cream cheese to get to my mouth lol probably would've gotten another star if they weren't freaking three dollars a bagel. Maybe $1.99. But three dollars, they were not worth that. read more

We won't be back. The bagels were extremely hard. My kids tried to take a bite out of it and literally couldn't. My husband and I ate ours but was not impressed, no flavor at all just a dry piece of bread. Also, for those that care the employees do not wear mask. I'll stick with Einstein bagels, it's edible and they care about their customers & employees health. read more

Place is absolutely terrible! Ordered two Sausage, Egg, and Cheese bagels and they were stone cold! The bagels were not toasted for the sandwich, cheese wasn't even melted, and the bagel itself was chewy and tasted old! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

Bagel was meh. Coffee sizes are a joke. When I went through the drive thru they asked me to tip. Who asks for a tip at a bagel shop drive thru? They gave me my bag and it had cream cheese on the bottom of it that got in my car seat. I was cordial and respectful just noticed all of this. read more

Wonderful bagel place! Friendly service to go along with the delicious coffee and bagel!

Bagels were extremely fresh and tasty. They have a variety of cream cheeses to choose from. The staff was very friendly and the service was very quick. I also really liked their cinnamon buns. I would highly recommend. read more

First timer here. The Bandidto was off the chain!!! And good Java and friendly service to boot! Definitely coming back!!!

We tried legacy bagels today - the best bagels we've had in a long time!! We'll definitely be back!!

Stopped in for the first time today. Coffee was great and bagels were fresh. The service was really good and plenty of people in and out. I would rather see the creamer in carafes vs the little creamers but nevertheless it was a great 1st visit. read more

waited in drive through for over 20 minutes and saw two cars leave because the wait. rude service, mediocre food.

Good bagels only thing that could be improved is melted the cheese and toasting bagels for sandwiches.

I am a loyal Legacy Bagels customer! Went to NYC on a trip recently and honestly was comparing my bagel one morning to Legacy's because my Legacy Bagel was so much better. Always great customer service and the best bagels around. read more

4th time going there as it's very conventional drive . but. the bagels are chewy and the presentation of the cream cheese was awful . i keep hoping for them to read reviews and fix their brand . no coffee flavors to go with bagels in the morning . just upset . i tried . will not go back .i also asked for toasted and it was not . read more

The bagels are fresh and chewy. We have been on the search for the best bagel shop in the DFW, and so far Legacy Bagel is the best.

Happy to see the place opening, although the Sunday hours are too short, but I understand the religious aspect. My issue is my husband came through drive thru, requested an Asiago bagel with vegetable cream cheese un-toasted. They should either ask if you want us to put any cream cheese on it? as I like to toast my bagels once they are at home... & which I am knawing thru a fully made bagel I can't toast. Guess I will have to remember to ask for cream cheese on the side, took me by surprise as most drive thru orders it already comes on the side. read more

I don't understand how Legacy Bagels doesn't have higher reviews. My whole family is addicted! They have the best bagels I have ever tasted in Texas. They remind me of the bagels I've had in New York. The chocolate chip, bacon cheddar, and Asiago are my favorites. Definitely worth the higher price because they're bigger bagels and higher quality. read more
