A half full (or half empty!) breakfast burrito.

Avoid. Came here for breakfast. I usually go to Legacy Bagels across the street but they're closed Sundays. I ordered a breakfast burrito and they only filled half of it. They also sliced some but not all of our bagels in spite of being asked to slice them all. My burrito was ok but even if they hadn't shorted it by half, the taste wasn't even remotely worth the almost $8 they charged for it. Avoid this place and go to Legacy Bagels across the street. You'll thank me.

Only asked for bagels to be "sliced".

Where to start? If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. They are ALWAYS SO RUDE to us. They make us feel like we are putting them out by being there to spend our money. This is my 4th time there since they opened about a month or so ago. Twice through the drive through and now twice going inside. I have been OVER CHARGED twice that I'm aware of at this point. We ordered: Hashbrown Bagel, Six Cheese Bagel and Apple Cinnamon Bagel just sliced (all "Gourmet" bagels according to their website ) $2.79 each by their own signage. One Sesame Bagel "Classic Bagel" toasted with only butter $2.19, one French Toast Bagel "Signature Bagel" with Strawberry "Shmear" $4.28, a Cinnamon Roll $4.29, and a Med Coffee $2.99. The three Gourmet Bagels were not sliced. They didn't heat the Cinnamon Roll (didn't even ask), and they didn't give us the Sesame or French Toast bagels. We checked when we got to the car, we checked our order and realized the day old Cinnamon Roll was COLD. Then realized we didn't get half our order. Went back inside to ask for the Cinnamon Roll to be heated and for the rest of our order. They put the Cinnamon Roll in the Microwave on high and gave it back. It was crispy and dry at that point. Couldn't even eat it. The drip coffee was cold, and the milk/cream was out. The over charge is minimal... But it's the principal that matters. They have awful customer service. No one even smiles. I paid using my app, and the girl at the register was annoyed that I was using it and was like "What is that?" Then proceeded to tap the register keys annoyed... To the point that I replied "I'm sorry for being an annoying CUSTOMER". Their whole process... ordering from one register and paying at another....the girl taking my order (same girl as at the pay register) saying "Is that going to be it?" after EVERY SINGLE ITEM I ordered... Not even allowing me to get to my next item before cutting me off to say "Is that going to be it?" with an annoyed look. The whole experience at this place is AWFUL. Be warned if you decide to go there anyway. There is a bagel place directly across the street called Legacy Bagels. We love that place, but wanted to give another neighborhood business support... Not anymore. We will not be going back to Einsteins especially when we can go just across the street for a 100x s better experience and great bagels! Legacy is closed on Sundays so their employees can go to church. Great local business and a much better place to spend your hard earned money!

It was semi busy on a weekend morning. There's a variety of bagels and a variety of cream cheese. Got the millennial falcon ($10.25) which is basically avocado toast on a bagel. you choose the bagel type and the schmear you want. You can choose 2 different schmears. Both the basil and jalapeno were good. I liked it.. pricing is what you would expect. They don't have all the sandwich options like Shug's. But I don't think they're trying to do that. They have a lox bagel sandwich ($14), regular lox and bagel ($12). A regular bagel + schmear will run $5. Personally I'm not crazy about bagels. So it did the trick for me.

We arrived around 10:30 am, which I realize is not exactly crack-of-dawn bagel time when everyone is grabbing their carb-loaded fuel before work. As an ex-New Yorker, I have my favorite bagel flavors, but my number one priority is simple: is it warm? Sadly, I was told there were no warm bagels, so I settled for a poppy bagel with the new lemon cream cheese. The cream cheese was fantastic. No notes. Seriously, it was great. The bagel itself was fine. My bigger issue was the service and the missed opportunity. The place was not crowded at all, maybe seven people inside. After we sat down waiting for our order, I noticed a guy in the back literally baking bagels and moving fresh, hot bagels into bins. HOT BAGELS, people. Would it have killed someone to walk 30 feet and offer me one fresh off the line? I had already mentioned it was my first time there and how much I love a warm bagel. I totally understand they cannot do this for every single customer all day long, but when it is quiet and someone is clearly excited about your product, that little extra effort can make a huge difference in customer retention. I worked in customer service my entire life, and I always believed in going the extra mile when you can - "accomodating when you can be" is a great customer service motto! I really wanted to love this place, and I appreciate what they are doing, but at this point my bagel loyalty may be heading toward PopUp Bagels. (And I have love for Dan's too.)

Starship didn't even come close. pop up isn't open yet. when i first heard the name brooklyn bagel, i was dubious; what if this was just a knockoff of the real deal in new york? i'm happy to say that these bagels are the closest to that big, fat, fluffy bagel we've grown to love. not that many sandwich options but i really enjoyed what they had. i've had the williamsburg and the flatbush and both are great and served warm and toasted. not a huge amount of flavored cream cheese options but the fact that they have choices is a huge plus. we went twice in a month and always buy extras to take home to enjoy later. can't wait for pop up to open, but this is a great addition to the dfw area without having to make the trek to new york. there are some tables inside to sit and eat, which is actually really similarly decorated to the actual brooklyn bagel in new york.
