Came on grand opening day around 10 am. There was a line but it moved really quick. I was probably in and out in less than 10 minutes. Way more organized than the Dallas location especially with it being packed for opening day. They had umbrellas and hand fans for customers, a dj and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Since there wasn't a wait, they don't throw out merch for customers which was pretty fun at the Dallas location. I got 2 salt and 1 everything bagel and 2 schmears for $22. It is priced higher than other bagel shops but it is also worth it for the quality. The banana cloud schmear collab with lala was so good. Light on the banana and not overwhelming. Can't go wrong with the scallion. We hung around a bit and the line was steady the whole time. Glad to get a PopUp in McKinney.

Pop Up Bagels finally opened and are as yummy as the New York ones! Service is amazing and quick, everyone is super friendly!! Once you try these bagels, you won't enjoy any other ones. They are pricey compared to your common bagels but the flavor is really good as well as the texture.

Really good. My expectations were actually very low but the bagels came out super hot and good. Love all the cream cheese options. The smallest quantity is 3 with one cream cheese. There is a really good proportion of cream cheese to bagel !

I also tried two of the sandwich options one was the veggie sandwich and the other was the pizza grilled cheese sandwich, my favorite sandwich was the veggie sandwich. My son had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and loved it. What stands out most is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients without cheap fillers or preservatives. The breads are flavorful and wholesome though occasionally a bit firm if not baked that same day, which is expected with preservative free baking. I've learned to time my visits with their baking schedule to get the freshest, softest loaves. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting -- like a cozy mom-and-pop deli. The shop is clean and also offers a charming selection of extras like local honey, jams, tea towels, sourdough starters, pizza dough, olives, and pickled veggies. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and care put into their products. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for freshly baked goods and a welcoming local experience.

I talk about this place all of the time to my coworkers and students just as the service is spunky and fun. I am a coffee snob and usually only go to my other favorite is just up the street. While the place appears to be happy and exciting it is seen and quite obvious the majority of employees don't understand how coffee functions. While it is easily seen the recipes of the drinks are laid on the counter and it is a coffee shop, the franchise doesn't allow freedom for people to make their own drinks the way they deserve to as paying customers. The temperature inside is kept unusually cold, especially for a Texas coffee shop, often below 70°F. It is cold enough that it raises questions about how much the business is spending on air conditioning. It is common for customers to be ignored or not listened to when they ask questions. This has been the experience my family had the three times we went, as well as having seen it happen to a multitude of other customers. I'd recommend taking a good long look at their procedures, training policies, and whether those procedures are actually being followed. Better consistency in these areas could go a long way toward improving the customer experience and preventing avoidable situations. While not all franchises of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii are like this, this particular location tends to stand out for these reasons. It is a bad look for all coffee shops in the area.
