Lees sushi is located in the food court area downtown. He delivers high quality sushi at a reasonable price. The rice is still warm when yiu taste it leaving you craving for more. He has over 100 different creative combinations. He is known for his 10 dollar bento boxes. He also has japanese soft drinks like calico and strawberry milk. At the food court unlike the other places he gives you actual nice plates to eat from not cheap disposable plates. Going the extra mile in presentation in a place not expected is key. His 5 dollar california rolls and sweet havana rolls with plantains are a daily sinful delight for me. I have also tasted his crispy, crunchy delicious shrimp tempura which was phenomonal. I recomend this place as your casual sushi place. He is posted on uber eats which makes it easy for delivary.

Tuna tataki...very fresh but sliced too thick
Nathalie B.

I've walked by this new sushi place a couple of time and it's ALWAYS empty. I decided to check it's reviews on Yelp and was pretty impressed by the fact that it was 4 stars. That's not a common rating for a sushi restaurant in downtown. I usually bring my lunch from home because although I love venturing out to downtown, sometimes it can get a little pricey. Today I felt like having some sushi so decided to give this place a try. I called and ordered my food (the girl put me on hold for a while...annoying). I walked over after 15-20 minutes and as usual, the place was completely empty. Not a single soul there during lunch time. Weird. Ok let's discuss the food since that's ultimately the most important part of this review. I ordered the Tuna Tataki and the Fantasy Roll with an extra side of ponzu. Their sushi is fresh, really fresh. Probably one of the freshest sushi I've had in a very long time. I personally like my Tuna Tataki to be sliced a little thinner, but otherwise it was delicious. The Fantasy Roll was also sliced a little too thick, but also very delicious. Here's the problem I have with this place...the price. I personally feel they need to lower their prices significantly for several reasons. 1. it's a hole in the wall...some of the best restaurants are holes in the wall but for right now they are JUST a hole in the wall 2. they are a brand new place and don't have enough clientele to have prices like these 3. they are always empty and because they are so expensive people won't realize how great they are. The girl at the register told me that she was giving me their new menu because they raised all their prices by $1. Umm what? You guys opened like, yesterday, and you're already raising your prices even more??? That's ridiculous. They need to lower their prices by at least $2! I ordered 2 items and my total was $25.12!

Seaweed salad app. Awesome.

A hole in the wall mom and pop sushi joint is a dime a dozen, but this little gem is amazing! We dinned in and had an app and roll each! The people are super friendly and the little cozy place has a warm feel to it! Enjoy!

Flagler Roll did not disappoint. Will be getting this again for sure.

Recently started working downtown and noticed a sushi spot on the ground floor of my building so I decided to try it out. It's a bit small in there but the server who works there is very very sweet and such a pleasant person. Plus she didnt continue to. Ug me asking if I'm okay every 5 minutes like at other small places lol. I ordered the Flagler Roll and got my food fairly quickly. It was delicious!!! It's basically a tuna roll topped off w tuna and tempura chips. It was put together very well and the chunks of tuna were very generous and fresh. The price was not bad either. Great convenient spot w good food for lunch during the week. Cant wait to try the other items on the menu.

Rice roll.... with a touch of various fish.

Great quality sushi! I ordered delivery, and it arrived in a timely manner and with good presentation. BUT beware, their rolls have WAY too much rice in my opinion. Honestly would of given them 3 stars because of the rice problem but the fish was just so darn good.

Classic rolls and variety of specialty rolls as well. Ordered the "Miami Heat" roll and although it was good, the "spicy tuna" was simply a tuna roll with a dab of Sriracha on top. Nothing too special but if you're in downtown Miami and are craving quick sushi this is your spot

Here's the wonderful bone I found in my "pork fried rice"
Christopher D.

I am not sure if this is indicative of every location for Lee's Sushi but this is about the 28 W Flagler St location. Upon entering the location, the waitresses had no idea an online menu existed on their website. They didn't know common terms used with sushi and donburi bowls. After begrudgingly ordering a "pork fried rice", it was a soy sauce vegetable rice mix with stray pieces of pork. Upon eating it, I found several pieces of cartilage and found a sharp bone. This is unacceptable. I will never be visiting Lee's Sushi ever again.

Massive JB Roll...so fresh!
Sarah O.

It looks like a typical divey sushi joint, but I can assure you it's not. The sushi is so fresh and amazing! The rice is cooked perfectly, and the rolls are huge and very reasonably priced!! I will be coming back again and again.

Awful, I ordered teriyaki chicken and I got dried out chicken meat that feels like chicken chips. I called the the restaurant and no resolution was given to fix this issue. They are rude and provide terrible food, and costumer service. I suggest you look elsewhere to order takeout....

Rainbow roll is a great health choice

Wish I could give 6 stars! I ALWAYS order from here! My food gets here in about 15 mins, sometimes 10 since I live close by in the Overtown Area. Never have had a bad experience. The food is consistently good quality and most importantly they never forgot the eel sauce! I recommend the crab salad.

This is the number 82. Didn't know at first then I tasted it. & made my day

Super Tasty! I went for a quick trip right before school to get a roll for lunch. I got one for my friend also (green dragon roll & anaconda roll). SO GOOD AMAZING TASTE AND SO FRESH. Can't wait to pass by again super good. Haha I can't even explain.

Great sushi at a great price. Friendly staff and lots of delivery options. Small place, but good things come in small packages.

I Need to talk to you about my experience at KYU…read more Huge shoutout to Chris at the bar, he welcomed us in with such a great energy while we waited for our table, and the drinks he made? Elite. The perfect start to the night. Bree took over once our table was ready and everything just flowed. Attentive, warm, and completely on top of it without ever missing a beat. And the food... every single dish felt like an experience and somehow better than the last!!! I genuinely couldn't pick a favorite. Even the krunchy kale had personality (which says a lot). The branzino, steak tartare, Korean fried chicken, octopus, mussels... I'm still thinking about all of it. Kim, the manager, was consistently checking in and making sure everything was perfect, and that level of attention to detail made the entire night feel elevated. We were really taken care of and my experience at Kyu ended with me in bed ready to sleep and a huge smile on my face. And left overs for tomorrow. I couldn't ask for anything more!

IDK, I'm still not convinced. Our server, Katrina was superb! She had lots of patience with us as one of us has allergies. So certain items on our dishes had to be omitted. Very accommodating I would say. She was attentive, always making sure our drinks kept flowing, including our waters. The smell of wood fire didn't not bother me until we left... It's overwhelming smelly. The smell penetrates in your hair and clothes like nobody's business.

MILA Miami completely exceeded every expectation. The restaurant, the lounge, and even the…read moredownstairs club were all absolutely 10/10. From start to finish, every part of the experience felt elevated, exciting, and so well done that we loved it so much, we immediately decided to come back for the Easter Day buffet and wow, it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is unmatched, the food was incredible, and every space has its own perfect vibe while still feeling cohesive and luxurious. What really made it stand out though was the service. The manager personally checked on us multiple times to make sure we were fully taken care of, which made us feel so valued as guests. On top of that, we were even surprised with drinks on the house, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch. MILA isn't just dinner, it's a full experience. Whether you're there for the restaurant, drinks, brunch, or a night out, they absolutely know how to deliver on every level. Easily one of the most memorable spots in Miami.

Mila is undeniably gorgeous and absolutely the place to be seen for dinner -- but as a brunch…read moredestination, it left me longing for the Setai. Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.

So we appreciated the hostess getting us a table far from them. I do have one small critique about the lighting. We were in a row of tables that had NOT ONE OVERHEAD LIGHT. AND the lights that were overhead about 10 feet on either side of the table were on very dim. We had to use our phone lights to read the menu. But I will return and refer others.
