These people don't bother looking at their tickets. If you want your stuff you better go up and tell them to work on it otherwise you're going to be waiting forever. I order 1 coffee, and I waited 15 minutes for it, I got fed up with waiting and went up and asked if I can just have my coffee already. They didn't even apologize for making me wait and ignoring the ticket queue, they made it within 1 minute. I have heard SOOOO many good things about their Vietnamese coffee. I was somewhat in the area, so I decided to give it a shot. It was super clean and organized inside. I liked the option of a touchscreen order tablet, but since it was my first time, I ordered at the counter with Dag. He was super welcoming and friendly! I enjoyed his service and persona. Thank you Dag for a great interaction! They have a shared business parking lot in front but it's very small and leads right out onto the busy street so proceed with caution! What I ordered: Vietnamese Coffee (4/5) - very sweet and creamy, but still strong! Not sure if there's a way to ask for it less sweet. If so, I'd do that next time. But it was really good for the price point. Very straight to the point and easy. Beignet (1/5) - very dry, hard, and not very traditional. Maybe it was sitting out for a while? Not sure but definitely not soft or flavored like ones I've had in the past at different locations. It looked like one but the execution wasn't there. Perhaps it's different once it's fresh. Chicken spring roll (2/5) - Dag gave me some sweet chili sauce, which really helped it! I found the spring roll to be a little too hard and the inside was just ok. Nothing stood out to me and again, tasted like it maybe was out for a while. I don't expect it to be extremely fresh but I was disappointed. Thankfully, I only ordered one. This leads me to not consider returning to try other items besides the coffee again. Came here shortly after they opened. It wasn't too packed for a Saturday. I read a review that said they have the biscoff lee's coffee, unfortunately, this location is not participating in that promo. They have a new kiosk where you can order from now so the staff just work on orders. The only problem is that it doesn't accurately affect what they have in stock. They had a coconut croissant which was not available. Took a colleague here to try it out and he loved the coffee which is the main reason I got here. We both had breakfast croissants which were pretty good compared to other breakfast spots that have the same sandwich. I'll keep coming back for the strong coffee. read more

Its nice whenever I visit the Valley, I can now find them here. I stopped here yesterday after a business meeting. I ordered 20 egg rolls with Shrimp Chicken and Pork. I also ordered 3 Bahn Mi Sandwiches with meatballs and beef. They have a huge menu of sandwiches, and other side orders of food. Ice coffees are good here too. I ordered one. Food is very cheap here, depending how much food you order. Nice spot to kick it at and eat. No outdoor seating. Parking can be a problem sometimes with the other businesses nearby. THE WORST Lees I had so far. I had a bite and felt like I was eating bread with mayo inside. $11 isn't worth the quality or care. There's maybe 2oz of chicken inside. I went up to ask the aunty at the counter if that was normal...she said "yea there's plenty of chicken...see lots of chunks". Also the pickled cucumber is rancid or something. It has a super bitter taste. Bathrooms are out of order as well. I expected a bit more out of Lee's Sandwiches, although nothing was too bad it just wasn't as good to warrant a return. I stopped by around 11:30 and there were 2 other people waiting for their order. I didn't notice the order screen at first but nobody greeted me and nobody directed me to the order screen. After a few minutes of looking around I realized the screen was for ordering so I placed my order. I also noticed the kiosk doesn't have all the menu items on the board so I'm not sure if they even take orders in person? I would've liked to order one of the other sandwiches not on the screen, but I went with the grilled pork banh mi and a Lee's original coffee with half ice, totaled $17 after tax and tip. It only took about 5 minutes for my order to be ready as more people started coming in so the wait isn't bad. Both items just lack that classic delicious Vietnamese flavors and quality you typically find in their relative orders from other restaurants. The coffee was definitely strong with sugar but there wasn't enough coffee flavor, it was so rich in milk and sweetened condensed milk that it tasted more like a milkshake than a Vietnamese coffee. Maybe that's what Lee's is known for and although it wasn't particularly bad, it just wasn't what I hoped for. As for the sandwich, it was just okay. The bread didn't have that nice crunch and it was soft all around, but it did have good flavor. The pickled veggies were nice too. Unfortunately for the pork, although it had good flavors, it was way too fatty and grissly. There wasn't enough "meat" for the pork that was in this sandwich. And overall the flavors just seemed a bit mellow. read more

Finally tried this spot for the first time! Oddly enough, I've had their Vietnamese iced coffee from Costco since they sell the frozen concentrated version, super good! Got here shortly after 5pm on a Monday, there was maybe like one other person. Parking is super small and I'm sure gets filled up fast with other businesses around. We got lucky with parking right up front! Walked in and tried ordering on their kiosk but they didn't have the Caramelized pork banh mi on there for whatever reason so we decided to just order with the cashier guy working. We sat down at an open table, good amount of seating and they had the news on the tv. Took about 10-15 minutes for our food and drinks to be ready and we took it to go to enjoy at home. The Thai tea with boba had too much cream in it, I prefer less to get more of the strong Thai tea flavor. The boba was good, surprisingly nice and chewy for a non-boba shop! I saved the iced Vietnamese coffee for the next morning to enjoy at work and absolutely loved it. Super strong but also perfect sweetness, would get it again, maybe even with boba! My bf's sandwich was unfortunately dry and a bit hard. I know these types of bread are kinda known for that but mine was perfect. I got the Caramelized pork bahn mi and they had enough spread and whatever else to make the bread soft! The pork was a bit too salty and didn't have that sweet flavor I'm used to from other bahn mi places. Still good and love that they put a hefty amount of pickled radish and carrots! Yes this location carries the Biscoff and banana pudding Vietnamese coffees! I'm so glad this Lee's exists in the valley and I wish there were more around here or else the next closest one is in Pasadena. I love that the inside of this Lee's feels very lush and how the workers have decorated it in a way where I feel like I'm in someone's home rather than an establishment. I also like that when you ask for light ice here they actually give you light ice. Most Vietnamese coffee shops when ordering Vietnamese coffee will tell you that they have to give you less coffee if you ask for less ice. Not here and they're awesome for that. Growing up in San Jose, I'm used to having Lee's Sandwiches locations everywhere around me. The only thing I wish is that this location had earlier opening hours. I'm used most Lee's opening at 6 or 7am while this one opens pretty late at 9am. I'd come more often if that were the case. read more

Always love this location. Very consistent in their banh mi making. Love their grilled pork sandwich on the fresh French baguettes they bake lightly smudged with house mayo. I was running errands and drove past Lee's and decided I was going to have banh mi for lunch. I ordered the number 14 which has the pate. I also ordered an original iced coffee. Banh mi was tasty! I always ask for extra pickled veggies. The iced coffee is good, super strong if you've never had Vietnamese coffee before. I also grabbed a bag of guava candy that I love. Free baguette with Yelp check in! The baguette was fresh and warm. Soooo delicious!!! Can't beat their baguettes here. Staff was friendly. Service was fast!! Inside was clean and I like that they had a lot of green plants. I noticed tables for in store dining. The windows and doors have black bars on them which can make it seem like they are closed but they are open! I didn't have any issues with parking as there is a lot in the shopping center. read more

First time here. The baguettes are nice and soft. Service was neutral. They were nice and took our order. Inside is roomy, and dining section makes me think I'm in a tropical forest because of the plants. My #11 Combination sandwich tasted decent. They have Asian and European style sandwiches here and also different smoothies. This place does cost a teeny bit more than the surrounding areas that sell Bánh mì sandwiches. Been here a few time every now and then as it's been open for quite some time now. When they did first open, it was a weekly thing for the bahn mi sandwiches. Now menu did expand with noodles dishes and pho. Not only is there the bahn mi, there's croissant sandwiches and we'll as euro sandwiches, on baguette. They do have hot appetizers as well. Caramelized pork bahn mi was amazing, the quality of the pork and veggies was absolutely outstanding. The food came out relatively fast and the workers were kind. The ambiance is honestly not that bad, there are seats and plenty of window to look out of. If you have a sweet tooth you would love the Thai tea. Personally I actually just went to see if they still had the bottled Thai tea that they used to sell with the coffee at Costco but for at least a year now I have not seen their bottled up Thai tea. They do infact have their bottled up coffee there, but you could just get that at Costco. read more

This place is awful!!! Customer service is horrible and the franchise owner has no business sense on how to take care of a customer. I came here to get a Vietnamese iced coffee I've been here a few times before and the lady helping me knows who I am not by name but I've visited at least 4x. Anyhow I just ordered a medium iced coffee and gave her my card and she said it's declined I was puzzled because it's only $5.67. What the heck why would my card be declined especially when I used it the previous night at dinner? I asked her to run it again and she laughed and said DECLINED. I'm a little flustered wondering why it would be declined. So I called my credit card company right away I call to find out what's going on. While I'm doing that I ask the lady if they accept Google pay and she said Apple pay only but she's so stupid they have the Google pay thing so I said yes you fo accept Google pay use my Google pay. Same thing DECLINED!!! Now I know something is wrong with their machine because why would my cards be declined. I am not a broke bitch!!! So I'm on the phone with my credit card company and she even states you account is in excellent status and I do not show any charges for Lee's Sandwich. I than tell the lady you are not running my card and that something is wrong with your machine. She than proceeds to show me other receipts and says you card is the only card decline. There is another customer behind me and I ask him if he's paying credit card and he says no, I'm paying cash. I am fed up by now and tell the lady she needs to get the machine checked because my Mastercard and amex are in excellent standing. She didn't even offer any other suggestions or apologized she just laughed and just said declined and it's my problem. I walked out and said I'm never coming back!!! I left super upset and super embarrassed. She made me look like I was some loser with no money who can't pay for a freaking coffee. Shame on them and shame on that lady. I understand she has a job but show some freaking empathy and understand if 2 cards declined there is a reason and it's not my problem. Although I agree this place has excellent iced coffee - the service is what will throw you off. They are strict and don't expect to be treated with hospitality. Tried the triple shot vanilla iced coffee and it will wake you up- it's VERY caffeinated. The inside is an oasis of plants and beautiful decor. Just wish the customer service was better! read more
