I decided to give this nail salon another try. Big mistake. Customer service can really go a long way, even when the service itself is not that great. Here both the quality of the nails, the service and the staff were not great. The young lady who greets customers has mean attitude and snotty demeanor. Not welcoming at all. No smile whatsoever. I asked for gel nails and the lady who did my hands did not dry them in the UV light correctly. I WAS WATCHING. When I left my nails were sticky and lumpy. My feet were okay, but they took forever to dry even when I was home, they were not completely dry therefore there were some marks on them inevitably. I couldn't stay longer because they were closing. Fast dry polish is not that expensive, they can invest in this wonderful product so that customers can leave happy. never going back. read more

This place is super clean, staff is very friendly and overall extremely up to date. They have a large selection of colors, designs, and are really savvy with any new nail trends. Over 10 pedi stations so even when packed the wait isn't long. They have an ATM inside for convenience but also take card. Love my nails by Mia! She did an excellent job! I showed her a picture from Pinterest and she copied it perfectly! She said she'd never done this design before but it came out great! One piece of advice with this salon: be careful when asking for designs. Last time I got a girl who said she could do an ombré design but completely messed it up and another guy had to fix my nails, took almost 2 hours. Do not go to this salon, I went in to get my acrylics taken off and gel manicure. She was going to leave acrylic still on my nail and put gel. It is very clean compared to most nail salons. I would recommend calling ahead of time to either make an appointment or to see if they are busy. I only really came here for homecoming and prom. They always made my toes and fingers feeling and looking amazing. For the price they charge, its really worth it. The massage chairs aren't all lumpy and they feel nice. Its not too strong where it feels like someone is throwing potatoes at your back. The back massage isn't suppose to be the highlight of the trip, but its a good perk. NEVER AGAIN. I recently moved to the area and am still looking for the perfect nail salon. This is not it!!! I went in Saturday afternoon for a gel manicure and a pedicure. While the girls were nice, the quality of work was subpar. I noticed the lack of quality while waiting for my toes to dry, I could see gel polish all over my cuticle and it is crooked to boot. Having them re-do gel manicure was not a feasible option. Welp 3 days later and the gel is peeling off in full sheets. Well that was a waste of FIFTY-THREE DOLLARS. Here you get the lovely luxurious specs of a Southern California standard: the immortal nail salon. My sweet mother recommended we come here on a Friday night and I was pleased they took us in quickly. My mom is into the gel manicure here and I was in need of a spa pedicure. I'm a fan of the variety of colors and services they offer. The prices are also pretty good! To me it's all about the little details, and Lee's is a solid pick on Grand for the services. Though I have my favorites in the general area, I'm glad I came here. The pedicure was good too... I have a shafted nail that is super delicate and the lady who helped me noticed right away. She let me know she would leave it alone... she was sensitive about that and made the experience that much more pleasant! A spa pedicure runs you $18. I never request anyone is specific, just whoever is available. So far, no complaints, I always leave loving the way my nails look. I always receive many compliments on my nails; they tend to stay looking good for about 3-4 weeks. The prices are a bit higher then other nail places but the quality meets the price in my opinion. Me and my mom went to get a last minute pedi, the staff was very nice, I didn't mind waiting even when I had an appointment but when my pedicure started the salon was using those cheese grater callus remover and she cut the side of my foot and didn't even realized until I pointed out I was bleeding. It was at the side of my foot I wouldn't even have callus there. Not to mention those cheese grater callus remover are not legally allowed in California. It's a very clean and beautiful place. The people seem nice. It was mine and my sisters first time. I wish the girl I had would have stopped to listen to me more before getting started, she did a very lovely job regardless of not doing exactly what I went in wanting. My sister liked the guy she got and what he did even though she also didn't get what she went in wanting. Go in prepared and knowing exactly what you want and how to explain it to them or they assume and just go for it. The prices are very fair, the work is done very beautifully, the people seem very nice. There was one guy though who worked there and asked to see my nails when I was paying and I can't figure out what his expression was.. He looked mad.. It was very weird and seemed kind of rude. DO NOT COME HERE! So I called Lee's Nails by accident and decided to go for a pedi. I asked the woman on the phone how much they charge for a basic pedicure. She told me $25 on the phone. When I get there and I am asked to pick what kind of pedicure I would like. Their basic pedicure was listed as $30 +3 . While working on my toes the lady (her name was Dung) kept cutting me. I said ouch multiple times hoping she would be more careful. I finally said something and she just nodded and said it had to be done. My toes stung so bad when she poured some disinfect/alcohol like liquid over them. And then once she was ready to paint my nails she tells me the white nail polish I selected is almost transparent and shows the messed up color of my toe. I have never had a salon's white gel nail polish not be able to work with me. I'm not sure if they buy cheap polish or what. But every other salon I've been to is able to paint my toes with a nice solid white. On top of that they charge an extra $18 for just gel nail polish on your toes. This pedicure was not worth $51. And had I known I was going to spend that much on my pedicure I would of just went to JoJos nails down on grand. At least they never cut me, you get more out of your pedicure package, their polish always looks nice and clean, and their customer service is great. This was my first time at Lee's Nails and I definitely will not be returning. Super disappointed and my toes still hurt. read more

I was in a bind and needed a mani/pedi stat. I called my usual salon and they were booked for the rest of the day. I turned to Yelp to search for another nail salon in the area. I read the reviews and they were all good enough for me to take the plunge and try it out. There were 3 other customers and it wasn't too busy from what I can tell. The employees are pleasant and were able to get me out in 45 minutes. I had a spa mani pedi with the gel mani added. They were quick, but didn't rush. I was able to get my eyebrows waxed which was a part of the 45 minutes. I'm on day 1 of the gel mani -looking good. The service was on the pricey side, but could be worth it if you prefer the west side feel. I will return and would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family. read more

As I sat down for my full set... The girl next to me told the guy her gel was too thick and he ignored her and told her to wash her hands... She did so and when she said it again he didn't care because she said "I don't want to sit any longer". When she went to pay they didn't charge her and she tried to give it and he ignored her... Here is my experience... I love my nails. I went from paying 60$ for full set & pedi (at a place they took their time at) to a place where I paid 40$ including tip and they took their time as well. Checked out this place because of the great reviews, and it didn't disappoint! Thanks Yelpers! Since I work at night, I usually do my pampering in the morning, so walking in and immediately getting a chair was no problem. I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure to get ready for my baby shower this coming weekend. I had a french manicure design I had looked up the night before and showed it to one of the ladies (sorry, forgot her name) and said she can do it. She needed the picture as reference while she was doing my nails, and she did an awesome job! I like the fact that she looked at both hands to make sure her work was nice and even before she had me stick my hand in the uv light for drying. Total price for the pedicure w/ callus removal, french gel manicure w/ design was $53, waaaayyy less than the $75 I've paid at another nail salon. The place also has nice decor - simple, elegant, and most especially, clean. Each nail tech had a drawer full of new nail files that they pull out and use for each new customer.
