Lee's Auto Smog was a great place to take my car. Conveniently located in my neighborhood, no wait time and he was willing to match the price i got from another shop. Also my check engine light was coming on & off so i was concerned it wouldn't pass. Long story short the mechanic was awesome he did a very thorough visual check and found the problem. Then he fixed it for free!! FYI i believe this is a test only station BUT if your car doesn't pass you don't pay. I will Highly Recommend this place to my family and friends. By the way it Passed. Once you pull into the lot, he'll either have you pull straight into the shop or you'll have to park your car in an available parking spot. After that you'll make your way into the office. He can get your car smogged roughly around 15 -20 minutes. James greets every one of his customers who comes in. He treats every person with the utmost respect and kindness. This place does a quick smog and the price is fair. Usually there is no waiting however, the day I arrived there were two people ahead of me---no worries, they were done lickety-split. Smog info is sent to DMV electronically. Lee makes getting smogged easy shmeezy. read more

This place is quick and efficient. They do not do repairs related to smog cert failures which can be a good thing simply because you know your car genuinely failed and it's not a shop trying to make a few extra bucks. They are honest and sincere and AFFORDABLE. The certificate is included in the price and there is one free recheck if your car fails. I've been Going to the same place in Gilroy for many years until it recently changed hands and thought I would give Lee's a try. There was no one at the shop waiting so I drove right in. Everything was good until he told me how much he was going to charge: $150 for a smog check for my Ford pick up. He claimed it was that high because of the weight. I knew that I had never paid anything near that before and went back to my old smog place. $55 and I was all done. I guess he was trying to make up for a lack of business with insanely high prices. I think that an older gentleman used to work there but I dealt with a younger person. They are definitely not getting any business from me. read more

Literally the best experience I've ever had at a smog station. The attendant was super friendly. Very nice guy and very efficient. Took me and my husband 30 min before closing and seemed happy to do so. He even took two more clients after they were suppose to be closed and he seemed grateful even for their late business. We forgot my paperwork and he was still able to send the dmv the results digitally. This is located in a easy spot of downtown to get to.
