In brief, can't beat the customer service and communication. Long version... I sent an inquiry with my truck usage and what I thought I wanted via their website. I got an email shortly after the inquiry was sent to come in and chat more about my project. From the initial meeting with Inti, at the front sales, my impression of the shop was that they were very trustworthy from their overall knowledge, recommendations and experience. They weren't pushy in trying to sell me things I didn't need as they utilized the understanding of my usage I communicated to them. Inti even pulled out a sample tire from inside the shop up to my truck so I can get a better visual of what my project may look like. I appreciate customer service like this where you don't feel rushed and the rep really spends time to understand what you want. I kept seeing Advanced Trucks on my way through Morgan Hill and I wanted to patronize this independent shop rather than going to a chain 4x4 shop. I'm glad I did as I am thoroughly happy with the final product. Inti kept me in the loop on the progress, checked in when needed, gave me an accurate timeline and delivered within that timeline. The paperless contract was also a nice touch which made everything easy to access and pretty transparent as far as costs were concerned. This is my fourth vehicle that has exceptional work done on it with the guys at ATI! This time my son's 1996 OBS F250. It was a new purchase for him and noticed the steering and front wheel camber was awful. We worked with both Joe and Taylor and did a complete front axle swap. It was more cost up front, but after several long discussions with both Joe and Taylor, we firmly believe we made the right choice to axle swap, rather than repair! These guys UNDERSTAND what the customer wants, explains all the options, and even goes over pros and cons of each option. Even after some unexpected additional costs along the way, they worked with our budget, and STILL were able to complete the job they intended to do! Had a great experience with Advanced Trucks working with Taylor, Mike, and Joseph. Mike was my initial contact and provided a fair quote to get my 2023 Bronco lifted 2.5" with a set of new 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. We ran into some issues when my OEM wheels had an odd factory offset causing the 35's to rub against the control arm, which was discovered during the quality control test drive after everything was installed. At that point Mike had gone on vacation, however the transition to Taylor taking over was seamless. He recommended that I get new wheels instead of a wheel spacers as spacers adversely effect the longevity of the wheel bearings. I took his recommendation and he found me some budget friendly Method wheels that paired perfectly with the look of my Bronco. Upon coming back for my 500 mile check up, I worked with Joseph, who was very knowledgeable. Since the tires I chose are very aggressive, he recommended that I rotate all 5 tires every 3000 miles in order to get the most use out of them as well as not causing too much wear and tear on everything else. After all said and done, I was extremely happy with their professionalism, knowledge, and punctuality in their communication and execution of their services. We talked via email about what was going on with my truck (it's got 112K miles and needed some TLC), he scheduled the truck in for a diagnostic. After they did a once over on the truck, Mike worked out pricing on different replacement options for parts requiring attention (brakes, bushings, shocks, etc.) and worked out everything I wanted. When I picked it up, I could tell instantly the ride was so much better! I did experience an issue with the alignment. I talked to Taylor to let him know what was going on and he immediately wanted to resolve any issue I wasn't happy with. I took the truck back and they took care of the issue right away!! My wife had scraped my black rim on my 2018 suburban and we needed it replaced. Gilroy Chevrolet where we bought out suburban from highly recommended them so we decided to stop by on a Saturday and drive to their shop. They recommend quality parts at reasonable rates. For my 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0 Diesel, I had a selectable ARB Air locker system installed in my front and rear differentials plus new shocks, springs, control arms. Taylor was in communication with me every step of the way and made SURE that I was a satisfied customer. He responds quickly and has a very positive and professional attitude. Sent pics along the way and offered to save old parts. The install is very clean and tidy. I recently purchased a Toyota 4runner and needed to make sure I got my All Terrain Tires, lift and light-bar on before I was heading to the snow in Yosemite. I sent them a message on yelp saying that I wanted a 3" lift. Other businesses said I needed to figure out what kind I wanted, not really giving me the time of day. But Joseph told me to come on in anytime and he would help me figure out what I needed. He sat there with me going over what I use my vehicle for (Hollister hills, snow, mud, etc) and showed me the best options for what I needed and explained why and which lift does what. I showed him my old light bar I had on my previous vehicle and that it wasn't too bright... thats I needed something better to see in the mountains because I go to Tahoe and Yosemite frequently. He showed me a few bars that would fit my vehicle and one that was most frequently purchased. So I had him order the suspension lift and light-bar. He gave me a call when the parts were in and it took about 2 days to get everything done. My vehicle did great in the snow. Also... well.... I knew when I was ready to lift my truck, I was going to go with Advanced Trucks. It took me at least a year to decide on the wheel package and lift kit I wanted to go with, so when I did, I gave Mike a call. Mike was knowledgeable and friendly. After buying a new RAM 2500, I reached out to Advanced Trucks to get some information about building it out. I worked with Roy, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and just overall very easy to deal with. With the various shipping and cost increases due to COVID, Roy was super up front about his recommendations and set the proper expectations up front. He continued to update me on the inbound parts, as well as follow up with me on the parts I planned to supply myself. Once everything was in stock, Roy got me in the books for the Monday before Thanksgiving. I told him that I needed the truck back by Tuesday, since we needed the rig for the holiday. I ended up dropping it off on the Friday before, since Ray said if I didn't need it over the weekend, could leave it and they might be able to start it early. Come 3pm on Friday, I get a text from Roy saying my truck was done. Talk about an epic weekend stoke. The truck came out better than I thought. The entire process of dealing with everyone at Advanced was awesome. They are a bunch of good dudes who know their business, and they straight up take care of their customers. Update 2/1/19 This time worked with Taylor to level the truck, add King Coil Overs to the front and change rims. Taylor is the man when it comes to suspensions. He helped me choose a great setup for the truck. Had the coils powder-coated to match the cosmetic appearance, and set up the rims and the level so the truck looks amazing. During the install, it became clear that a track bar relocation bracket was required. He checked every step with me, and got the bracket ordered and on in two days. Then he and his staff took if for a few test drives and dialed in the front perfectly. The truck now rides almost like a sedan. Huge improvement over the already improved-from-stock Fox reservoir shocks in the front. The truck handles and drives so much better than stock it's amazing. Almost no bump steer, and this in a solid front axle truck. I'm a believer, and am now working with Taylor to change the rear suspension to King adjustables to get the front and the rear dialed into perfect synchrony. This, and a highly adjustable Fox ATS steering stabilizer that will make this truck even more amazing. Taylor's even working with me to get the front tubing changed from blue to black to match the color scheme I'm running. Besides taking time and being incredibly knowledgeable, he's a guy with high integrity and just a great person to talk to if you love this stuff. This shop is truly a gem. 3 months ago I was searching through yelp for a place to get my F150 lifted. I emailed Advanced Trucks and was surprise how quickly they replied; Taylor was the one that answered all my email questions, I think there was a total of 20 plus email exchanged. Finally after getting all my parts I needed for the the truck I went ahead and dropped off the truck on a Thursday morning. It took them 2 days to complete, when I called Friday he had mentioned they were short staff and I told them I didn't mind picking up the truck on Monday so they wouldn't feel pressured to finish. He said he felt real confident that he would get my truck ready by that day, which they did. When I came to pick up the truck, I couldn't believe how awesome it looked, Taylor even suggested which side he would prefer on the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and glad I took his advice on it. I had to come back on Monday to the shop due to the speedometer calibration device did not arrive the day I picked up the truck. When it arrived Monday, one of the techs came to help me out and showed me how to set up and was patient with me. Called this place to see about having a 3 inch lift kit installed on my truck. Spoke to one guy on the phone and then was put on hold until another guy picked up, who sounded annoyed that I requested a quote for the install. When I finally got the quote, the price was so outrageous I thought he was joking. The guy had the gall to say "that's standard pricing across all shops" too. I laughed and then immediately called a different shop in Fremont, who quoted me over $1000 less for the exact same job.
