The mechanic helping was incredibly knowledgeable. There is ample seating inside to wait while the service is happening. AV Tires is amazing. Totally saved me when I was in a jam. I was driving from San Diego to San Francisco with equipment for an event and found myself with a slow leak from a puncture that was going to cause a huge issue for me when i parked the car downtown for the event. I would return to my car after the event and the tire would be so flat that I wouldn't even be able to limp to a pump. Everything went well until I showed up at the shop. I was quoted 100$ higher than the price they told me on the phone. So I said something about it and they insisted they were giving me " one time offer" . Then I pay and take my car home and realize dark hand prints on my headliner. A friend of us introduced me to this small family store. I had wanted to changed all 4 tires of my 1992 Toyota Camry. The store owner, Jose, carefully examined 4 tires one by one, and then told me only 2 front tires need to be replaced right away. The other 2 back tires can be used for 4 or 5 more thousand miles. He also checked up my spare tire thoroughly by immersing it into water, 'cause I told him the spare tire did not look all right. Finally I agreed with him to change only two front tires. Came in last week with a screw in one of my tires to have it plugged & while there asked about the cost of having the brakes done and was quoted a price. Returned this week to have the brakes done and the young man there was not one of the two men present the first time I was there. He asked me what price they had quoted me and took my word when I told him. He told me it would take about 2 hours and said he would call when it was ready.
